Un peu déçu car nous avions pas le plein en la récupérant un cran en moins et mis l’essence avant de la ramener au même niveau et en arrivant avec la grande pente du port il manquait une barre le réservoir n’était pas à niveau donc pour même pas 5 l d’essence nous avons eu une pénalité de 20€. Il vaut mieux la rendre avec le plein pour être sur le temps que le réservoir se mette à niveau, néanmoins le personnel très gentil nous a rapporté des affaires oubliées dans la voiture

Ik heb recentelijk een auto gehuurd bij AutoUnion voor een vakantie met mijn gezin, en mijn ervaring was helaas zeer teleurstellend. We hadden specifiek gekozen voor een auto met een autostoel voor onze 20 maanden oude dreumes, vanwege veiligheids- en gezondheidsredenen. Bij aankomst op de luchthaven van Marrakesh stond er echter niemand op ons te wachten, wat al meteen een slechte start was. Na ruim 40 minuten zoeken vonden we eindelijk iemand die ons naar het verhuurkantoor bracht. Daar kregen we niet de beloofde autostoel, ondanks dat we hier specifiek voor hadden betaald. De medewerkers beloofden ons dat we de volgende dag een autostoel konden ophalen op een andere locatie. Helaas bleek dit ook een loze belofte te zijn, want op de aangegeven locatie wist niemand iets van een autostoel. De auto zelf was vies en rook onaangenaam. Tijdens onze vakantie ontdekten we dat de airconditioning niet werkte, wat onacceptabel is in de hitte, vooral met drie kleine kinderen. Bovendien kregen we een auto met een automatische versnellingsbak, terwijl we specifiek een handgeschakelde versnellingsbak hadden gevraagd. Dit alles zorgde voor veel stress en ongemak tijdens onze vakantie. Tot overmaat van ramp kregen we een boete omdat onze dreumes niet in een autostoel zat, wat volledig buiten onze macht lag. Onze vakantie, waarvoor we meer dan een jaar hadden gespaard, werd hierdoor volledig verpest. Bij terugkomst hebben we het probleem gemeld aan de medewerker die de auto ophaalde, en hij bevestigde dat de airconditioning defect was en dat de service die we kregen niet voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Ik vraag AutoUnion om volledige terugbetaling van het huurbedrag en compensatie voor de boete die we hebben moeten betalen. Ik ben zeer teleurgesteld in de service en zal in de toekomst geen gebruik meer maken van AutoUnion.
Very bad experience with AutoUnion Zakynthos🤬. First -> my rental contract was originally with Sunny Cars. Ultimately once in Zakynthos, it appeared we had to pick up a car with AutoUnion, the sub to Sunny Cars??! Picking up the car went smoothly, we made sure we had everything 100% insured and paid off any liability (I thought...). When returning the car it seemed everything was ok, except... according to the lady employee, there was some salt rash visible on the upholstery and that had to be reimbursed. I still thought, we are on an island and by the sea, so what are we talking about and I am sure I had treated the car properly. It was minusculely visible and I had no idea whether it had been there before. I also told them that I had insured and paid off any liability and that I had a bad feeling about this. The answer was that I had taken out this insurance with Sunny Cars and not with AutoUnion…So if any complaints, please talk to Sunny Cars!!?? Immediately afterwards I was approached very aggressive, very arrogant and the lady even threatened she would call the police. I said that's fine, let them please come. Let’s see what they think (never came...). Ultimately I just wanted to leave, and be done with this hassle. In the end it cost me €50 extra and unfortunately a very unpleasant stressful end to a very nice trip. In any case, being a frequent traveler I will never do business with AutoUnion again. A takeaway for myself: it would have been nice if I would have had a better understanding and a little more transparency with regard to who you ultimately rent the car from. And @Sunnycars: know who your subs are!
Racist employees. Not helpful AT ALL. I asked the guy working there for help and he proceeded to talk to other customers while pretended not hearing me. At the end after multiple tries to get him to help us he gave us a phone number that turned out to be false just to get us out. Long story short I was unable to get my full refund because of the wrong number. Unbelievable. Save your money and time.
Worst car rental company. The employees are miserable, racist not helpful at all, in fact they are pushing customers away. We asked for help and they pretended to not listen to us. After multiple times asking them for help with our booking the guy gave us a false phone number which was the cause of me losing a full refund. Awful. I’m definitely not going back there. Save your time and money.
If can gave less than 1 star would give it. 1st time experience with AutoUnion in Wroclaw Airport. Once made booking flight number was provided and mrs was on time but no one from autoUnion was waiting even been given info that the driver will wait in the terminal. Representative tried to force to take the additional insurance claiming that our private insurance which covers excess from car rental companies will be so much hassle as in case of any damage we will need to claim back and so one. SO they are already assumme that the car will be damaged. Given car was in extremally bad conditions, scratched and little bumps all over the car. We are renting cars for past several years and never ever seen such car in such a bad conditions. What is looks like they are charging customers for damages and never actually repair them as this is additional source of income for them on top of the fact that we are aware that they need to sell the extras as they are on high provision when customer say no they shall finish their conversations. So pushy compared to other to other car rentals companies. Most likely never use them again. And this is our experience prior returning so will see what feedback will be given once we return the car as having quite bad feelings already
Très bonne agence de location. Quand on arrive à l’aéroport d’Athenes, il suffit de suivre le panneau « cars rentals » pour trouver la navette griffée « Auto union ». Il est important de prendre un horaire vous laissant le temps d’arriver tranquillement à l’agence de location (5 à 10 min), si jamais vous avez du retard, appellez les afin que votre voiture vous soit gardée! Le personnel est charmant, parle très bien anglais. Quand on prend le « full assurance » , on est tranquille, rien n’est à ajouter à l’arrivée. Aucun problème également au retour. Je conseille ! Les voitures sont propres et bien entretenues.

Am besten 0 🌟 am 2.4.2024 Auto bis 16.4 2024 Gebucht. Bei Abholung auf einer kleinen Beule linke Seite aufmerksam gemacht Mitarbeiter angeblich nicht gesehen. Bei Abgabe angeblich Schaden durch mich, da ich aus der Autobrange komme habe ich den Mitarbeiter aufmerksam darauf gemacht das, dass Auto vor längere Zeit einen Unfall gehabt haben muss da man deutlich sehen kann das er nachlackiert wurde. Desweiteren gibt es einen Zeugen. Ich sollte dann das Schadens Protokoll Unterschreiben was ich verweigerte. Allerdings fand ich erstaunlich das der Mitarbeiter sofort auf die Beule zuging. Die Beule ist ca 2 × 2 cm nur beim genauen hinsehen zu sehen, mir viel sie sofort bei der Abholung auf,und es wurde abgewiegelt. Ich wette drauf ich bin nicht der erste Kunde den sie diese Falle gestellt haben. Desweiteren hatte ich ein Premium Paket abgeschlossen so das die Schadens Summe abgedeckt wehre was geleugnet wird. Mitarbeiter unfreundlich, abzock vor Programmiert ich rate jeden von dieser Firma abstand zu nehmen. Ich habe die Angelegenheit bereits Meinen Anwälten in Hamburg übergeben, J.K aus Hamburg Alles
Fahrzeug für neuen Mitarbeiter für 2 Monate gebucht. MA leider nach kurzer Zeit ausgeschieden. Nach 5 Tagen KFZ retourniert. Lt. Angabe einer Mitarbeiterin von Auto Union überhaupt kein Problem und Rückerstattung der zu viel bezahlten Miete über rentalcars einfordern. Nach über 6 Wochen permanenten Mailverkehr zwischen rentalcars und meiner Person jetzt die Info eine Rückerstattung ist leider nicht möglich da AutoUnion das nicht gestattet. Eine Buchung über AutoUnion mache ich sicher nie mehr wieder. Danke 1760 Euro futsch!!!

I rented a car in Jamaica, since the arrival they forced me to pay a extra insurance for 180 USD even when I paid full coverage with booking.com, they say that the tarif given by booking was to low that they have to charge extra, how can a external company can give a lower price that the one they authorized. The cars where in terrible conditions all with broken parts inside and outside.
Avoid! They have hidden fees disclosed only on car pickup! I have ordered car with Autounion via Discovercars (broker). Paid 30 euro for car delivery. On arrival the driver asked for additional €47 euro for delivery claiming that this is additional fee for delivery on bank holiday. Refused to pay as such fee was not disclosed when placing the order for that specific date. The driver took the car back. Few hours later found car for less and without hidden fees at all. Avoid at all cost.
I recently hired a car from Larnaca airport, i booked a Nissan Note (or similar) manual transmission months in advance. On arrival they informed me it was an automatic! I complained and was informed that “or similar” includes the transmission!! (I have checked and that statement is false) in 50 years of driving I have never driven an auto and wasn’t going to learn at 9pm in a strange country!! Luckily we had someone who could drive but had to pay for the extra driver!! They delivered a manual drive car the next day that was 6 years old and battered! Do not use this company !!
DO NOT BOOK WITH AUTO UNION! Booked a car in Auckland for a week. Was a disaster! Waited 40 minutes at the airport to be collected. Was then taken to their lot and presented with the car. Left their place an hour and a half after reaching their pick up point at the airport. It was disgusting. 180,000km on it and it made so many weird noises, and was worn and dirty inside. Radio unusable as the display was so scratched. Could not drive at night as headlights so scratched. Called back after 24 hours and told nothing else available so had to keep with the full week. Took it back and told all ok and then hours later charged $200 for a tyre that had worn through as it was so old, you can see how worn the whole tyre is in the pictures but they say it is damage. So they gave me an unsafe, dirty, only partially usable car. There is a reason they may come up cheaper than the other main companies, do yourself a favour and pay the extra for peace of mind. Also be wary if you are over 70. Saw another customer who had made a booking, but hidden away in the t&cs is info that their “standard” insurance does not cover him and he has to pay another $250 at the desk. This is something that I feel that should be raised at time of booking when drivers age is entered!
The worst car rental company ever used; very unprofessional ; very arrogant; terrible service ; car rented with oil change alarm; the staff was extremely unpleasant and on top of that terribly unorganized; I’m a CEO of a large company I will never recommend such a bad service and I would be ashamed to be related to such an unprofessional business at any level. NEVER again. Don’t use them.
Came to get a car in Auckland - They are ok if you check every single part, inside out (not kidding) or buy their rather expensive insurance because the slightest damage will result in exorbitant charges to your credit card. The first car - 0 threat on the tires, damaged mirror, broken seats, second - Screw on the tire - had to return after 15 min - they were reluctant to exchange, third car cracked mirror - I broke it more and then came the invoice - triple the price of an original mirror, not tax ID or company address on the invoice. The invoices they provide is at best dubious,
Wir haben vom 19.12.23-09.01.24 über Booking.com ein Fahrzeug am Flughafen İzmir angemietet. Wir wurden von einem Mitarbeiter der Auto Union ohne Wartezeit abgeholt und zu unserem Fahrzeug begleitet. Hier wurden wir von Herrn Ömür bestens beraten und haben sogar ein Upgrade bekommen. Das Fahrzeug war gepflegt und neuwertig. Es gab nichts zu beanstanden. Die Rückgabe erfolgte wieder unproblematisch am Flughafen. Wir werden wieder bei Auto Union buchen. Vielen Dank!
