I have just returned from a holiday at the Monarch Hotel Bridlington which I enjoyed very much. The hotel was lovely, clean and comfortable and the service was good. The coach driver Keiran was excellent and did as much as he could to keep his passengers happy. My only issue is that we were put on the sixth floor and there was only lift access to the fifth. In the confirmation letter I have it definitely says lift access to all floors. I wasn’t aware of how many floors there were and on which floor we were staying but had no reason to question it because of the confirming letter nor did the hotel know that maybe I would struggle with the stairs. I didn’t mention this issue while we were there and it hasn’t put me off coming back again. I just think maybe you could clarify the situation so people can make the decision before choosing. I noticed that in the new brochure it says lift access to 5 floors so I am guessing this isn’t the first time it’s been mentioned. Maybe if you are allocating a room on the sixth floor you could inform the customers of this issue, just in case. Thanks once again for a lovely holiday and we look forward to visiting the Mornarch hotel again.

Self drive...hotel friendly and good service ,bar restaurant and reception. Food delicious and had a good choice .apple pie yum! Bed Room at back with small windows and ok . Bathroom shower room with lots of space .

Great hotel. Coach was comfortable. Everyone was very friendly and good company.

Good hotel, lovely staff, situated in a super position near the lovely town of Melrose. Excursions to Edinburgh and Royal Yacht/Peebles were great.

We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cromer. Although the weather was sunny, there were strong winds which made it feel rather cold. (Obviously not Alfa's fault). Hotel, food and staff - all good.

Overall the holiday was very good. Hotel mostly good, staff mostly good ( young lad waiting on us was hopeless) but Kenny who seemed to do everythingwas great, entertainment mixed- Simon Rees was brilliant, bingo and quiz good, lady singer dreadful. Food was OK, not great but satisfactory. Coach was clean and comfortable. Excursions enjoyable. Delay at feeder station, which spoiled the overall good feeling of the holiday a bit.

the driver, Nigel, gave a splendid guide to the things and places we were passing through and visiting. The weather was good despite a lot of rain during our stay. Everyone was very helpful.

Very nice hotel, location, food & entertainment. The only drawback was the 12 hours spent on getting there and back!

Great driver. Great hotel, nice to have a choice for lactose free meals, efficient and well run hotel. Weather could have been better but cannot blame you for that!

We have been on a few holidays with Alfa and we always enjoy them the driver was lovely the staff at the hotel were all friendly and helpful we have already booked another holiday for next year

The driver and host Steve T made our holiday great, not only was he observant to other drivers on the road around him he was courteous, has a host he was happy and bubbly polite and friendly, very good helping anyone that needed it, took us to some lovely places, went above and beyond to make our holiday the best it could be, our cases were taken off us at Reading and we didn't see them again until we reached our hotel, our hotel was good, it was clean , food was very nice, a very good holiday

Lovely hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Plenty of choice of food at meal times Great entertainment and Bingo. Hotel central for shopping and sight seeing. Day trips ok but we needed another free day to look around. Very well organised transport. Will definitely go on holiday with Alfa again.

We found our driver Richard from black cat coaches excellent, pleasant , and helpful , as were all the staff in the Bayshore hotel , Michael our waiter, and the young man serving in the bar at night outstanding , I did think a hot buffet breakfast would have been better , as do not eat a lot and do not like waste , so I find it better to help yourself to suit all appetites ,

Very well organized coach travel and holiday booking very easy. Staff at resort very good.

Very good location. All the staff were very good, Manager was really helpful, Waiters in the restaurant very efficient, nothing to much trouble, Food every day was really good. Room cleaners nice and polite and did a good job.

We travelled to Weston super mare and was disappointed with the driver! He didn’t engage with the passengers on the coach he just sat in the drivers seat when we were leaving the coach! I’ve known the drivers to lend a hand when getting off the coach. He also informed us that it was against the law to use the toilet when the bus was in motion! What’s the point of having a loo on board if you can’t use it? The feeder driver was a lovely jolly person who helped us off and told us the arrival time of each stop. On our tour we had a day trip to Dunster and Minehead what a waste of time it was there is nothing in Minehead I mean absolutely nothing that day out would of been better if Minehead was first for 1 hour then Dunster for the rest of the day the castle tour takes over 2 hours and there are lots of places to eat.

Our first holiday with Alfa and we weren't disappointed. Visited Hampton Court Palace, London and Windsor. Coach driver, Callum, was excellent. Thatchers Hotel appears to be in early stages of accepting coaching groups. A couple of hiccups with late service for dinner one evening; cold plates at breakfast time each morning (does need addressing, as the nice food went cold quickly). All in all the hotel was clean and staff friendly. The trips were excellent.

Hotel rooms and staff amazing, great views from bedroom window. Entertainment and bar staff and reception all very professional, helpful and friendly. Our driver Kieron was amazing very informative and goes the extra mile to make days out interesting and fun
