Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm.
My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle!
I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!
Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash.
The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with.
They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless.
Will wash it myself over the weekend.
GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.
This is honestly the worst car wash. Don’t ever come here. They spilt coffee all over the car seat. Yet didn’t tell me. So I proceeded to sit on the car seat WHILST WEARING WHITE JEANS. And they saw but stayed quiet. So now not only is my car seat stained, but my white jeans are too. The car clean itself was very below par. Still plenty of litter they didn’t clean and places with dust and dirt etc.
Tried to call up to speak to someone about it, got no where.
Waves, if you’re reading this, please get in contact. I’m not happy about this.
Boiling water from a kettle to remove droppings
The guys poured boiling water from a kettle whilst I was in the car to get rid of bird droppings! Avoid, avoid, avoid. At £10 it's cheap for a hand car wash but disastrous. Waves at Tesco in Kensington
Took car to be washed at the Tesco's on blue boar Lane at Sprowston and just asked for a outside wash. On return was charged £22 and the explanation was that they applied a "special wax" which apparently I asked for! ( I didn't). Despite this I paid the money to avoid the confrontation but then as I approached the car I noticed a scratch mark on the bonnet which stood out like a sore thumb and definitely was jot there before and looked as though most likely caused by them having a stone in the sponge or by a ring/watch when polishing it. Spoke with manager who just immediately told me that it was nothing to do with them and refused to help. Complained to head office who finally replied and told me that this does not happen and was not caused by them with no offer of a solution to resolve this! After looking at other reviews this seems to be a common issue! @Tesco should he ashamed to have these cowboys operating in there car parks
Waves - some are good like Shoreham-by-Sea Tesco and some are terrible like Bognor Regis Tesco.
This is down to franchising.
Avoid Bognor one - they are ripping people off. They say one price and charge another plus they get extra money by claiming cars are bigger than they are. Apparently a Fiesta is a large car and a 320i BMW is Extra large ( according to website surface area sizing on Waves it is only just large)
Avoid and go across the road to IMO. They are great in Bognor
One star is even too much for this joke of a place. I asked for a basic wash on my astra. I was asked if I wanted it hoovered inside. I opened my passenger door and showed the man a small dirt pile. I was told "don't look at the price board, I will tell you a price" I was quoted £14 , did my shop and after 20 minutes I came back to my car, asked if they accept blue light discount. The man said they do, then typed in £40 into his card reader!!
£40 for a very basic wash and a half job hoovering inside. I explained I was sure he said £14!! And I looked on the website online and seen it is £40 for a large van. I only have a small astra!!! There is nothing online stating £40 for a car wash.
Absolutely rip off, he said he could only charge me £30 while holding my car keys. Then he started speaking in a different language to the other 5 guys just sat around on buckets, they all started laughing. I have never felt so on edge and embarrassed!!!
Please don't waste your money with these scammers!!!!
Once home I can see there are water marks all over the sides and never even hoovered under my seats, so no idea what iv just paid for!!!
Tesco should be ashamed as its their name on my bank statement!!

Once again I decided to give Waves at Tower Park Poole the opportunity to clean my car. Having been let down by them once before I decided to give them another chance. Only one other car being cleaned before mine. I left them my car keys with the understanding they were to clean inside and outside of my car at a cost of £26. I was told it would take approx 45 minutes. I went to do my shopping only to arrive back 45 minuets later to discover that it had not been cleaned. I was then advised by a staff member that they had been too busy to clean my car. The truth was . They just couldn’t be bothered . I will never attempt to use them again. They didn’t even offer an apology.

Full monty..Warrington Tesco .Total waste of money groupon so half price £26.40 what a ripoff water marks all over body work seats were wet and looked OK but now they are dry the same as before no air con conditioner or air freshener..same job done properly anywhere locally £15
my car was disgusting inside and out hasnt been cleaned for many months. I work with metal and plenty of fine dust gets in the car the outside is covered on dust and muddy splashes from lorries.
Today I took it to waves at Asda Woodham Ferrers.
My car looks amazing it even smells good no metal bits left and I can see out of the windows (thought it was my glasses). I would highly reccommend these chaps, even got me a chair so I could watch, and there is nothing like watching other people work!!
I say give them a go, you wont be disappointed.
I always use waves at tesco Evesham the guys there are totally professional and always do a great job weather it's my works van or my sports car there attention to detail is brilliant I would never go anywhere else.
