Don't risk your car here

Service here has gone down so badly over the past couple of months, to a point I'm now boycotting the whole firm. My brand new car, one month old, now has two paint chips in my gloss black bumper and the boss firstly wouldn't accept liability then held my keys hostage until I'd paid the full cleaning cost, despite causing obvious damage to my vehicle! I check my rear bumper every day to ensure my kids havent scratched it with their bags, because this car is my pride and joy!

Useless don’t bother

Had a gold star service done. Was anything but a gold service first and last time using this wash. The under seal was clearly not wash properly they try to mask it up with some spray but since it was not clean it will not get shine, when asked was the car wash properly I got told they tried it 3 times but the haze comes back that’s coz the car body was not properly washed to start with. They good if you need a quick clean don’t bother spending too much with them it’s pointless. Will wash it myself over the weekend.

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH

GO TO A DIFFERENT CAR WASH! Absolutely awful. I paid £120 for an in depth valet and it came out horrendously, broken glass still in the car dust everywhere and even worse they took everything out of my car and kept onto it for a while which I hadn’t realised until I had gone. When I came to get my stuff back one worker had my charger and was using it in his own car! Showed them the dirt and dust and glass and only hoovered my car again no refund or partial refund at all. I will not be going back here.

Arrogant Pig

Went this morning. I knew it was not open yet. Saw a member of staff sat there. I went to ask a question and was not helpful. The pig wouldn't even get up to acknowledge me.😡

Would give zero stars if possible!!

Would give zero stars if possible!! My wife and I decided to take our car for a quick wash while we shopped, never again. Firstly, we pulled up and asked for a price for inside and out. The young boy then went onto open all of the doors to inspect and then gave a price of £35 for a wash and a vacuum. I asked how much for just a wash, £16. We decided that £19 for them to vacuum the car was crazy (it’s 4 months old and not filthy at all) and went for the hand wash. Handed over my keys and went shopping. 30mins later we came back out and was greeted with a different man with manager written in his top who, with a smile on his face, let us know that our keys are locked inside of the car. We were fuming and asked how can this happen. The ‘manager’ firstly explained that it was a fault with the car. I think not. He then went on to say that it was our fault for not telling them this could happen and that he is only a car valet. Not a single apology from anyone. Fortunately my car has an app that allows me to open the car, but this is not the point. What if it didn’t, we would be stranded with a trolly full of shopping and a group of guys smiling at our inconvenience. And on top of all of this, the car was not really cleaned that well. It is new so shines easily, but flies left on the front bumper, rear window smeared and water marks all over. A bad experience with no effort to apologise, we will never be returning to waves exeter!

Dreadful service

I handed my keys to one of the operatives and asked for my car to be washed inside and outside. I went into Tesco had a meal and was in Tesco for close to 2hrs upon my return l was shocked to be told my car was washed. It was barely touched with grass and dirt still inside the car, the outside had not even been touched. I was met by 2 aggressive men shouting and making threats stating that it had rained and hence why the car didn’t look washed which was a lie because it did not rain as you can see in the photographs the ground is dry and was clear to see the car did not look washed and compared to other cars it was clear as day, other customers also stated the same that is didn’t look washed. They offered to wash the car after l has wasted almost 2hrs expecting my car to be cleaned. I told them l was not happy and will not be paying for a car that had no been washed. I pulled away and stopped because they were making threats towards us. They opened the door removed my keys from the ignition forcefully and started to spray the car with some liquid and stated that they were cleaning the car at this point and l must pay for a service l did not get. I felt threatened and they began shouting abuse and stating that if l wanted a full valet l should go elsewhere. For the record l didn’t ask for a full valet just a wash and clean inside and outside. You can clearly see the car parked in the middle of the road and them trying to quickly wipe it down to make it look like it was washed. Not a drop of water touched the car. My friend went to pay £25 for a half done job which l feel is absolutely out of order. This type of behaviour is totally unacceptable and all customers need to be treated fairly for a paid service. No apology was given but just a load of insults and abuse. I will never use this service again and very disappointed at the way we were treated. After complaining to waves they didn't even offer an complimentary car wash after paying £25 but an apology and hope l would return to use their services again.

Tesco Exmouth Devon .

Tesco Exmouth Devon- I have been using waves for the past 10 years! Today I went and was told 30 mins, great. My car was the only one to be washed and they were just finishing hovering another car. 30 mins later come back and was told by “the boss” as he kept calling himself that the inside was clean but not the outside! Ok, then he went onto say I was only shopping for 15 mins! Rude! He went to wash my car then came round to dry it! I pointed out that the trim under the passenger door was still dirty! He was so rude and told me he should be charging me £40/£50 but was only going to charge me £26! I’ve always paid the £22 charge! He rudely said “just give me £20 and go some where else next time” we’ll all I can say is “bring back Nic” his customer service was fantastic, this guy “the BOSS” is going to lose you a lot of money. Lost my business and my husbands! Word of mouth goes a long way!

I used the Dibden Tesco Waves car wash this morning. I had booked online as I wanted the full monty. On my arrival I was told straight away that the card machine is still not up and running so it would need to be cash. This was not a hard sell tactic, but, by telling me up front, I had the option to not go through with the service. There is a cash machine on site so this was not a problem. The 2 young men who cleaned my car were very polite and respectful. The car looks like new, inside and out. The tyres/wheels were pretty reasonable when I took the car in, now, the wheels actually jump out at you and look really impressive. So pleased. I have registered my details online and booking is really easy. Thank you !

Well below expectations

Very disappointed today. Booked for Gold service (inside and outside cleaning) at Waves Winchester, and even mentioned to the attendant that I wanted it properly cleaned as I am selling the car. Despite this conversation there were loads of areas missed, dirt and grit left in front seats, glove box, central console, visible dust on/around rear headrests. I had to spend over an hour getting it clean to a standard that a second-hand buyer would expect. We have used Waves many times but I'm afraid after today's experience we won't be coming back.

The worst company at all

I had a terrible experience with this company, they took my money without delivering on there promise services and refused to provide any refunds. They were extremely unhelpful, and unprofessional, not recommended this company to anyone.

Wow, wow, wow, WOW!

Wow, wow, wow, WOW! I took my Range Rover to the guys at Tesco in Southampton and driving in I didn’t think it would have even been POSSIBLE for my car to be that clean again. I have a dog, regularly travel with kids and camp all the time. It was terrible! But they did SUCH an amazing job. They shampooed my leather seats, washed my floor mats and they must have some sort of magic hoover because my goodness- It looks brand new. Can not recommend enough! I will be going back (probably very soon knowing us lot) Thank you 🙏🏼
