Tradex, avoid

We have used Tradex for many years now, the service has always been adequate. This year however has been appalling, we were asked if we wnated to renew our policy which we did, they managed to change the policy WITHOUT informing us and the ONLY way we discovered this was there was an incident in Portugal, thank god we are going through the Portuguse system, because as I said without notifying us they managed to WITHDRAW the European portion of the insurance. Sadly my partner has dithered about changing to another company so the 14 dy cool off period is something we cannot get out of but just to warn anyone else our premiums are now £696.31 a month for a policy thats not worth the paper they cut down 50 trees to write it on

I TOOK A MOTOR TRADE ROAD RISK POLICY FROM TRADEX THOROUGH PIB INDURANCE. AFTER TAKING INSURANCE I BEEN ASKED SO MANY UNNECCESSARY QUESTIONES EVERY WEEK FOR ABOUT 4 WEEKS GIVING ME A LITTLE TIME TO REPLY. ON WEDNESDAY 28/05/205 I RECIVED A MAIL TO PROVIDE SOME MORE DOCUMENTS,6 READE INVOICE AND CARS LOG BOOKS PAGE 1-3 FOR CARS ON MID. FTER THAT MY INSURANCE WAS CANCELED WITHOUT DEMANDING ANY MORE DOCS. I EVEN PHONE TO TRADEXON 07/05/2025 TO CHECK IF THEY HAVE RECEIVED ALL PAPERS THEY DEMANDED OR THEY NEEDS ANYMORE INFORMATIOS OR DOCUMENTS AND I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT MY BROKER AND MY POLICY WAS CANCELLED ON 08/05/2035 WITH OUT ANY EXPLAINATION. IT AHS RUINED MY BUSINESS. AFTER CANCELATION OF MY TRADE INSURANCE FROM TRADEX NO ONE WANTS TO INSURE ME ANY MORE AND I CAN NOT RUN MY CAR TRADE BUSINESS WITHOUT TRADE INSURANCE. IT IS VERY UNFAIR. I WISH NO ONE GO THOROUGH THIS ORDEAL.

If I could give Them no stars I would. I've been in business for a long time and I've never come across such a shocking company. My story is a long one so I won't bore you with it but if you go with these guys you are in for a world of pain.

I am so stressed

I am so stressed, can’t get hold of this company, on phone for hrs. What should be an easy claim has been a nightmare. Not my fault and other persons claimed full responsibility. I’m told one thing then get an e mail telling me something else. I wouldn’t go through bank of Scotland to have to deal with this company(O I haven’t dealt with them as no one answers phones) still trying

Awful company- Stay well clear

Awful company. I took out a self drive hire policy with them for my car rental business- before i took it out i had to do a presentation on how im going to grow into a big company, how im going to survive in a competitive market, how my risk management works and essentially convince them that it will be worth insuring me because then it will be a long term arrangement and be worth it in the future when we have a big fleet of cars. They also insisted that i replaced the expensive tracking/ camera technology i already had in the cars and bought a specific technology that does the same job- costing me an extra £600 upfront and £50 per month. Just 1 month into the policy and im informed that they have completely pulled out of the market and are going into "run off". So my business is in trouble and will no longer be able to continue. The guy at the top is making loads of money whilst the companies they provide are struggling due to their bad practices. I would be ashamed to run a company like this.

waiting on call for hours without sorting your issue also if you ask for supervisor call back forget it no body will call you

I've had a very frustrating experience with my insurance provider. The main issues I've encountered include long wait times, misrepresentation by staff, and a serious lack of follow-up on my complaints. Every time I reached out, I was promised a callback within 48 hours, but that never happened. Instead, I was left in limbo, waiting for updates that never came. The company’s customer service representatives provided conflicting information, and despite my best efforts to resolve the issue, there was no accountability or clear communication. I’ve had to document every interaction, keeping track of dates, times, and names, just to protect myself. Even though calls are supposedly recorded, the company has not provided any copies of these recordings, despite multiple requests. I’ve escalated my complaint internally, sending formal written complaints via email and to the head office, but this hasn't helped. If this continues, I will be forced to take my case to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and possibly report the company to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for not adhering to industry standards. I cannot recommend this insurance provider due to their lack of professionalism, slow response times, and overall poor customer service. I hope my feedback prompts them to improve their processes, but for now, I would advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company.

I would give no star

I would give no star if it’s possible. After spending about eight hours on a phone and 50+ emails trying to make sense of it . Supplied them with all the evidence they would require with dash cam footage, road markings and witnesses proving no fault., And initially told me it was no fault of my own and all cost would be covered and given a rental car but as soon as they found out that the other partners insurance company were not prepared to pay because they were towing a trailer and we weren’t insured to do so.. because unable to redeem the costs from the third-party insurance now taken back the rental car and withdrawn any support and having told me that I need to solve this myself. So much for fully comprehensive insurance.. The customer service is an absolute nightmare. Avoid it all costs. Having to go through the insurance governing body To try and get this resolved now

Definition of "Daylight robbery" ROBEX

This Insurance company is an absolute definition of "Day light robbery ". Keep well away from them. I had been a customer with them for nearly five years, when an incident happened to my parked vehicle with cctv, Lauren the "robber" refused to pay! Didn't answer calls, or emails.... Don't bother with this company which is worst in the business by far.... Robbers

Worst company ever

Worst company ever, they are part of CLEGG CLIFFORD INSURANCE. They will do everything in their power not to pay out any claim. Especially their claim handler Lauren Bowdidge, if she’s handling your claim you’re finished. She won’t answer any phone calls or emails. Useless company. Read the reviews and don’t use this insurance company.
