Huge Thanks to Norman

I've been booking my flights with Southall Travel for over 20 years now, and they've always delivered great service. This time, I worked with Norman, and I have to say – he was absolutely brilliant. I had quite a few changes and back&forth with my travel plans, but ahndled well. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Norman & team.

Unsatisfactory

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from Southall Travel regarding a trip I booked with them back in November. I informed them within the next couple of months that I would have to cancel. I paid £1000 deposit and did not get a penny back for it they were very unprofessional when I asked them to help me out in someway for me to use the deposit on another flight but they were asking for a ridiculous amount of money on top. I chose this company based on their reputation for excellent customer service and well-planned itenary. I suggest you handle complaints from customers better and offer appropriate solutions! Overall my experience with Southall travel was highly unsatisfactory I expected a much higher level of service given the reputation and price point of your Agency.

POOR AFTERCARE SERVICE

POOR AFTERCARE SERVICE As a returning customer of Southall Travel, I paid in excess of £12,500 for my family holiday to Thailand over Xmas. I paid extra for a private transfer and instead I had share a 4 and a half hour journey with another family. Staff at Southall (Garth) offered me a measly £35 compensation for this inconvenience. The interaction when planning our trip…

The interaction when planning our trip and the resulting itinerary were perfect. All of the agents that Southall travel used in India were wonderful and our trips memorable. We could not have asked for better. There is no doubt that we will never use another company when planning our next trip. Our agent Suparna was brilliant. We had issues due to cancelled internal flights (Fog in Delhi). She stepped in and arranged everything. Organised and booked alternative rail travel. Above and beyond all expectations.

It’s a nice experience to book the ticket from Lucas

It’s a nice experience to book the ticket from Southhall travels . This is the 2nd or 3rd time but it’s the best experience to book . As I have also given reference to my friends even to book from Southhall travels . And every time I book I would suggest you can book from Lucas he is so kind and helpful .

Poor Service Expensive Prices

Poor service , expensive prices. I would not use this company . the prices are cheaper if you book directly through the airline so using a ' call center' operation like this makes absolutely no sense whatsover . You can book directly with BA or another airline...ie KLM or Air France and have cheaper flights....their commision is one top..as well as this you wont have to speak with someone like Hector..when having to change my flight due to illness he simply lied and insisted that flights were much more expensive to India in ' high season'..ie August .he then told me the flight would be around 1500 GBP.i went on the BA site and saw that the prices were exactly the same for August *900 GBP...as in any time of year ...this is not high season in India ..he lied..then and when confronted with his lies... extremely dismissive and rude..if not quite aggresive ..no commision i guess !! I lost my flight...had i gone through BA this would not have occured . They would have been courteous and helpful at least ..and help me change the flight...and i would not have had the stress of dealing with someone like Hector..never again.,less stress booking direct and cheaper.

Fantastic service - be sure to ask for Karan Bali!

I had to make a last minute booking change. I spoke to Karan Bali, who was super fast, efficient, and a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely book through Karan at again and recommend to everyone!!

I would not use any other travel agent

I would not use any other travel agent! More than 4 times Southall travel has beat its competitors for me. This occasion I had Sam helping me, and we had a budget but with specifications. Sam assisted me throughout, and we found him to be patient, understanding and extremely helpful. At no point did he get flustered or irritated despite my annoying requests and constant changing of holiday destinations 😃 He’s unique and would recommend Sam and southal travel anytime of the day 😊 If you need to book a holiday don't waste time with anyone else, go straight to Southall Travel and ask for Sam!

My flights to Oz sorted in no time by Max. I had such busy day at work today and was pleased that he was so update with his knowledge and understood my request so quickly. He is commendable for his work. I would recommend Southall travels to everyone.
