Zoomo receives mixed feedback from its customers, reflecting both commendable service and significant frustrations. Many reviewers praise the staff's responsiveness and helpfulness, particularly highlighting the excellent service at locations like Bethnal Green. Consumers appreciate the quality of the bikes, noting their reliability and performance. However, a substantial number of complaints focus on issues with customer service, including problems with the app and unexpected extra charges. Several customers express disappointment with the company's handling of maintenance promises and the overall rental experience, describing it as frustrating and a waste of time and money. While some individuals have had positive interactions, the negative experiences regarding service and fees overshadow the positives. Overall, the sentiment leans towards dissatisfaction.

I rented an e-moped from Zoomo to use for Uber Eats deliveries, and it was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had with any company. I paid £80 for the rental, £15 for insurance/theft c... See more

Yasmim was the best !!!
Shristi and yasmim were really helpful at the Fulham Store ⭐️
The staff are so confused they give different answers their customer service in store is so bad. So many hidden terms and fine you for anything. Prices are probably the highest in the market
SHRISTI AND YASMIM were absolutely helpful and great with the induction. They made the experience extremely enjoyable, and I am beyond happy with my experience whilst setting up my monthly plan with zoomo
Do not use this company. They’re liars and there bikes are junk. They will rob you. Beware!!!
I loved the costumer service of Shristi so well explained everything.
Loved the bike so much I will give 10/10 and the costumer service of shristi and aimal is way too good.
I have rent sport e-bike when I go to return the bike is a issue to give back the 100£ back. I'm still waiting for my refund. The store is SW6 5NT in Fulham UK.
Shristi nice customer receiving nice expalination
Very good service, close to Redfern station
Bike is always breaking down. They charge you for a bike you can’t use. Horrible customer service.
I loved the bike and the service. Most comfortable bike I have ever ridden. KB at the Brisbane store was so helpful and knowledgeable. Can’t recommend more highly.
(AUSTRALIA) I bought a 2nd hand NCM Venice plus from zoomo. Unfortunately due to issues in my personal life, I didn't get to use it for a while. But when I did, after just the 2nd ride (both were about 1km total) a spoke broke, one of the disk brakes broke and the other one is basically barely functioning. This wouldn't be an issue if they'd said they would repair it. But they tagged me through three different support teams over a few days, only to tell me that its not covered as its considered "wear and tear". Two rides shouldn't have wear and tear, especially when you claimed to do a very "thorough inspection" to all pre-owned bikes. All in all, I'm going to have to spend around 15-20% of the bikes cost on repairs after just 2 rides. DO NOT USE ZOOMO UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
writing this review standing if front of closed store in Los Angeles, at the beginning of my day when I have to work hard my battery died again so I went to change it 3rd time but now they decided to close up all stores and leave their clients without any support. This is worthy act of bad company. This is totally unacceptable for business, cause you guys charge pricy for this. You need to work hardly to improve this piece of .....! Disappointed. You will waste time , money and your reputation towards people who are waiting their food to be delivered in time.
Zoomo bike. UK Fulham Robust frame and loads of support if you’re renting. From my experience of building ebikes, Bafang and 1000w pancake motors are good but they draw a lot of unwanted attention. Bike thieves hate zoomo because of the security features it has. Only worry would be if they follow you in pairs brandishing knives but it’s rare. Lovely lady Nicoletta at the bike store. She helped me understood everything. 👌🏼💯
I'll start by saying that when I signed up with Zoomo as a rent to own customer, I didn't know much about bicycles other than how to ride one, so the fact that maintaining and servicing the bike was all part of the deal is what sold me. For a year and a half, I was consistently in the shop at least twice a month for various reasons, believing that they were doing whatever needed to be done to keep my bike in tip top shape. I happened to bring the bike to another shop closer to my apartment to get a tire fixed, and the mechanic there asked me if I had ever had any service performed on the bike, and after telling him that it had been serviced over a dozen times he literally said, "dude, you're getting screwed" and pointed out a plethora of issues that were all indicative of a general lack of on-going basic maintenance. I was forced to replace my entire drivetrain, both of my rotors were so thin that they could have cracked at any time and I could have been seriously injured, my tire spokes were all lose causing my spokes bend and warping my wheel. Ultimately I ended up spending close to $500 to fix the issues, but initially I didn't have the funds to fix everything and I no longer had my bike to earn money, so I reached out to Zoomo about the issue, asking them to make it right by giving me a free week on another bike so I could earn what I needed to fix it. It took 3 weeks and numerous emails to get a response, and instead of any sort of apology and finding a way to make it right, all they did was tell me I still owed them money for a fork they had installed (which had been initially installed wrong, which was kind of scary as I was riding home). For two weeks, they fought with me, never once being remotely apologetic and never offering to do anything to make up for the huge expense that was a direct result of their negligence. Instead, they charged my credit card without my authorization to do so, taking every penny I had at the time which had been the money I needed to buy my dogs food. They didn't care whatsoever and wrote back to me with an email that said they "appreciated my business.". Zoomo falsely advertises to lure people in, and then they start charging you for things you thought were included but really aren't, they have terrible customer service, and they have no ethics. Your safety will be at risk if you rent from them, and I highly suggest if you're looking to buy a bike that you buy from a dealer who won't sell you a bike that wasn't properly serviced. Don't fall victim to their sketchy business practices and stay far, far away. Worst interaction with a company I have ever experienced in my life.
Where do I start. This is specific to the Zoomo in Philadelphia on Cherry Street. I should have known better when they charged me a month of pro subscription without any extra batteries available, knowing that was the primary perk I wanted to take advantage of with the pro plan. Do not fall for the insurance scam either it seems legit on paper, you rent the bike and get insurance if anything happens to it the bike has a tracker and serial number and the insurance covers the cost of the bike. It’s BS though for one thing if their bike is stolen expect 0 assistance from their 1 office location only open Mon-Sat. If they do find it their not calling you either instead what happens is you will work directly with the police to file a DC number…that’s it. You then take it into the shop, once their open, pay $250 and they give you a different bike. Then they tell you their is only a 2 bike policy meaning this is only the case twice before they cut ties with you for “losing” too many bikes even if they find them. God forbid someone steals your bike without harming the lock because your insurance insures the LOCK not the bike. If the lock is not damaged tough break you owe for the bike. The full amount too. Which would have been the bed of my complaint and I wouldn’t have called them crooks until this next part. So once both bikes were stolen I was told someone from their team would call to setup a payment plan for the 3k I owe for the bike. Instead of doing that a week later I got a call from my mother. She said they first chard her card $250, then 550$, then 865$, then 1,034$ all on one Friday. I try to call them, the Philadelphia office has no phone number btw which is really helpful when they only have one office location. Not only did they not pick up calls but they still charge my moms card every month for $250 despite me emailing and calling requesting they call me so I can give them the proper payment information and setup a plan. Either way they won’t refund her and won’t answer me so here we are.
I was delivered my Zoomo Sports ebike at my home on September the 15th 2021. I was told by the manager of the store(Jordan), that it was assembled straight out of a box? For something that was considered brand new? it was in substandard rough condition, arriving with scuff marks and scratches and dints on the paint work. I remember the tyres being dirty on the day of delivery and when I questioned it? I was told that it had been road tested before its delivery? that I believe, because the odometer displayed 5km, this was far from a brand-new bike, but more so a used at best case scenario. The chain continuously falls off and has been defective from day one. Furthermore, to add to my disappointment, there was brake fluid leaking from the right side brake fluid reservoirs, and the rear breaks were grinding very loudly, which were faulty. I had to take it back the next day for repairs to the Melbourne store. There was never an apology from the rude manager he just wasn’t interested. I pointed some of these issues out on the day to the delivery guy who was the store manager, but he just dismissed it and told me he was in a hurry to leave and complete other deliveries of bikes with his van? This is a $3000 bike I paid for and so far the customer service has been nasty and the condition of the bike initially has been appalling and substandard. The bike continued to be faulty and I had to repeatedly take it back for repairs. Not to mention the senior bike mechanic, had very limited, to very poor knowledge of diagnosis to repair the bike and often had to consult elsewhere for repair advice and sometimes would even deny that I had bought the bike in for repairs. I was sold a lemon! The service bookings for the bike were always cancelled and changed on very short notice with appalling excuses. Parts like mud guards were not available in stock and I had to wait months for one to arrive. Not to mention the delivery date wasn't on time and it had to be pushed back a week. Finally! after lengthy heated disputes and arguments and numerous email exchanges, I returned the bike to the store and I got a full refund of my money back. I would not recommend buying a Zoomo Sport, its heavy and a sluggish ride and it’s a complete waste of money.
I purchased a used e-bike from Zoomo, very happy with the quality and maintenance, delivery, and the communication.
