Certificate was not generated

Certificate was not generated alongside my test results. Also it seems that this company doesn’t sell tests anymore; my guess is their platform (and customer service) will steadily decline from here. Just another company trying to make a quick buck from the pandemic.

Economy Covid Self test kit

Stay clar. Never use this company.

I've sent 5 emails to support nd not got a single response after receiving my day 2 test on day 4 and getting my results on day 7. Currently day 8 and you guys haven't even sent it out. To make matters worse my day 2 test was rejected in the lab? Id ask for a refund but I know you're not gonna give it to me. Appalling service, I literally cannot see how it can be this difficult. Super corrupt system. £170 for this is ridiculous. The NHS do a better job and it's free. But because of the rushed policy/corruption/the government palming everything off to the private sector we can't use that service or risk being heavily fined. Even though I have 0 symptoms and came from a country with 0 cases.

Scam or/and the system is not fit for…

Scam or/and the system is not fit for purpose I had to travel to Romania on 28th March due to a tragic family event, with return flights on 5th April. Followed the guidance and booked all cv-19 tests for abroad and UK. I've purchased the kit test for days 2&8 from Now Test for £169 with 3 days prior to my arrival. I've received my 2nd day test with a 3 days delay and when it finally arrived, I was not able to do my test due to technical log in issues on both Now Test app and website. I've emailed the company to ask for support (as this is the only contact option), however, they came back with a standard reply which did not addressed nor resolved my problem. Meanwhile, since the 2nd day of my arrival I was contacted everyday by the Gov UK cv-19 Assurance Team to check if I am respecting the guidance regarding isolation and testing. The 1st advisor that I spoke with, didn't seem to interested to my issue with the tests, was just keen to finish reading his script, however, another advisor asked me to book another PCR test through the normal route on the gov.uk website. My understanding is the whole purpose of this process is to avoid extra costs for the NHS, when in reality private companies are getting the profit and they could not care less of anything else. In my case I had a negative PCR before returning to the UK and do not have any cv-19 symptoms, I strictly follow the guidance (currently isolating) as I've done since March 2020 however, I was still asked to get a PCR. Now Test - they either don't care or are not prepared for this, no contact, no other response from their side. The cost of the tests is very high and it seems this a scheme in which private companies are supported in increasing their profits, with no other considerations. Personally, I would not travel during this times unless for critical reasons, and would not object to pay a around £50/test (as I did in Romania), it seems a fair price under these circumstances. However, what Gov UK enabled private companies like Now Test (I've read about it and there is a long list) to do is a rip off having into consideration the prices of the 2 days kit tests start at £160 and go up to £399 (depending on availability). I am extremely disappointed and saddened, the whole situation just added up to grief, stress, frustration. I will try to raise this with the bank as per the cv-19 Assurance Team representative's advice. If I could, I would give Now Test a minus, unfortunately, this is not an option....everyone has struggled (some more, others less) throughout this pandemic, to many people have lost dear people due to this...and still others are taking advantage....How is this right??????

SHOCKING DO NOT USE ZERO STARS

SHOCKING DO NOT USE ZERO STARS JOIN THE FACEBOOK GROUP /groups/741586793169975 Same here wife and I bought 2 sets of tests - day 2 arrived on day 5 and day 6. The phone number on the gov website doesn't work, all emails are a standard reply. The so-called app doesn't work and isn't even an app. I have emailed the following and copied it to the DH customer service address. It is encouraging that track and trace sem to have informed another complainant taht if you are symptom-free on day 10 then you are good to go anyway. Though that begs the question why test in any case! dhsctesttrace.customerfeedbackteam(AT)nhs.net Dear Now Test Support my wife and I eventually received our day 2 tests on day 3 and 4 respectively and have now returned them with the prepaid labels provided. We are now on day 7 and are awaiting our day 8 tests which have not yet been received. Talking with the government check-up service today I was informed that it is a mandatory requirement to test and should your tests not be forthcoming by tomorrow then I will have no other alternative than to seek our immediate testing elsewhere with a 24-hour turnaround in order to be released legally on Day 10 in the event of a negative test, It is plainly obvious that you have neither the resources nor the applications to effectively run this testing programme currently and have over-promised and undelivered. I put you on notice that if I do not receive the test tomorrow as promised then I will expect a full refund for my wife and I and will be booking elsewhere and informing my bank of your inability to provide the service promised and seeking a chargeback to my debit card. I hope this can be resolved amicably and quickly and am copying to the Department of Health as advised by a telephone operator on the quarantine checkup programme.

A message for the CEO

Isn’t it about time the CEO of this company, got out of his ivory tower, which us mugs have no doubt paid for and begins to sort this mess out. Stop taking further orders for test kits and start making refunds! Update: Day 20 back in U.K. Received apologetic email today from Now Test stating they will be refunding 50% of the test cost (for undelivered day 8 test). They say we should receive the money within 10 days. Update. day 31 back in U.K. Received an email from The App Company Ltd (t/a Now Test) our 50% refund could take up to another 10 days to appear on our statement. Update. Day 33 back in U.K. today we received our 50% refund (for undelivered test) Our bank is currently dealing with it for a 100% refund regardless.

Rated 1 star because the system does…

Rated 1 star because the system does not allow '0' stars. Horrific service. Scammers taking advantage of the misery of international travel during this pandemic. Nowtest should be ashamed of themselves but I guess they are high fiving and slapping each others' backs. How did they get approval from the government? Albeit, my Day 2 test kit was waiting for me when I arrived at home in the UK. I did the test and sent it back and have heard nothing since. Today is Day 9 and still nothing. The phone number which the UK Gov't Covid Team gave me (020 3488 7870) does not work. Emails have not been responded to. If you paid by Credit Card, ask your card company to refund your payment. I have printed this thread of complaints as evidence. Update: I had ordered a Day 2 and Day 8 test (£169) to comply with UK law before traveling from Calais to Dover. I wanted to also take a Day 5 test to release me from isolating. I had to arrange a day 5 and day 8 tests with another firm. My credit card company agreed a chargeback to my account. I have updated this review because NowTest are challenging whether or not this is a genuine experience. I have supplied Trustpilot with copies of my emails and details of attempted phone calls that were never answered. Eventually NowTest provided an email address as refunds are being dealt with by their Refund Manager. (refunds@.......) Surely the appointment of a Refunds Manager suggests that they have issues providing their service.

It is a scam but listed and "approved" by the UK gov website !

Many private tests for Day 2 and Day 8 are scams ... Eventhough it is listed in teh Goverment website, they just take the money and never provide the service. The governement should act !! We paid 170£, we are already on Day 12 and : - Day 2 test received and send back on day 2 but the result is never received (still pending) - Day 8 test received only on Day 10 and no test result received They never answer to the phone, and they don't answer to the email requests.

DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR MONEY.

DO NOT GIVE THESE SCAMMERS YOUR MONEY. I am on day 12 and I still don't have the result for the day 2 test which was sent back the same day I took it. The 8 day test kit just arrived and I'm sending it back as they are too late. Woeful company, do not buy anything from them. I am still trying to get my money refunded. Wait the 14 days - you don't need to buy another test and contact your bank for a refund. SCAMMING, THIEVING COMPANY SHOULD NOT BE ON THE LIST REPLY - Your refunds team refused to accept responsibility for the total lack of service already and refused to refund my money. Offering people a chance to email your refunds department, but still refusing to refund their money does not mean you are not scammers, you just want to keep taking people's money and pretend you are a legitimate company.
