We booked a Rhine River Cruise & Mediterranean ship trip package with My Cruises - June - July 25. As it was our first ship cruise plus a gift for our 10 Wedding Ann, we wanted a smooth,exciting trip. We made many enquiries with MC about getting access to Santuary Club on ship ( adult only area), Cons. advises both verbally & with email that we had this service. Great. Upon getting on ship, NO we didn't & there was no record that MC had checked with Ship. How disappointing for us , nothing could be done at that point. After contacting MC - very slow response. Was a misunderstanding. ! Not at all what the email advised us, So they completely mislead, and fobbed us off. Very poor staff training & attention to detail. BE VERY AWARE of this Company - they definitely aren't the cheapest, & consultants are poor quality . It is a tour without a licensed tour guide so you will have to do your home work which will make a difference - the difference between not knowing what you are going to miss out and knowing what you are going to miss out. I am not joking. It is like sending you to tables full of food but you won't get to taste them. All what you are doing is traveling between tables. I also admire the effort of the company put in to lower the cost, at the expense of customers' enjoyment.

This is our 3rd time booking. Though this time I went through Flight Centre as they have bought MyCruises out. Chased paperwork for weeks. Paid in full November, flew out May. Recieved our paperwork 4 days prior. They state in their advertising that hotels are centrally located. Our hotel was 35mins out from the Rome Terminal ( 13 metro stops ). Nowhere to eat except for the hotel which was average and overpriced. Train strike the day we arrived ( not their fault ) but no transfers included in their packages so had to get a Taxi €95. When questioned about getting accommodation closer the reply was “ sorry too late now “. Never had a problem with MyCruises before so not sure who was to blame for this fiasco. Looking to do Discover the Heart of the Canadian Rockies in 2025 but a bit worried that this is all going to happen again

We were going to book a Rhine river cruise and Scandinavian cruise in May 2025 but after reading all these negative reviews, we are not interested in proceeding with this company. Thank goodness for a Review platform that is independent.

The customer service is appalling. We booked a best of Alaska and Canada package in May of 2023 and the package advertised transfers plus a stop in Montreal with a train trip to Quebec. As of today they still have not detailed the transfers after numerous meetings with the travel agent, Flight Centre, plus earlier this year they cancelled the Montreal stop- guess what -no mention of any refund on what they are not supplying as advertised. This has been a booking from hell. We now have a situation where we depart our cruise in the morning and then travel to Quebec on a night flight that same day and cannot check in to the Quebec hotel until late the next day. Over 30 hours without a shower our sleep. Not good planning. Never again with My Cruises

I have written a review of our experience with MYCRUISES and another of the DISASTROUS Japan tour itself. BE WARNED....all they will ever do, is send you a reply stating "Dear Mr(s) X so sorry etc etc etc. Over the past years of shocking ratings, They never actually change nor improve anything

When you book a trip you should not have to wait 10 days out from commencement to know the finer details. They love to take your money and walk away. I clone of trip a deal who were unethical during covid. 10 days out means all the good aircraft seats are taken, excursion prices and transfers are much higher and the cabin promised is already taken. Be warned!

Japan is an amazing place...but the your guide mycruises gave us was terrible. She did not care about the elderly and did not supply information about places. Could not wait to finish her tour. Would not book a Japan tour with this company due to this experience.

Not the travel agent to have when something goes wrong. After scheduling change by Virgin voyages, I spent hours in queues to finally talk to a succession of uninterested amateurs ( with the exception of Felicia right at the end ) with no empathy, initiative or direction. Our cruise went from 22 days to possibly 15 days and this crowd asked for more money and decisions NOW with no indication of any refund. Communication over the next 3 months was aggressive, confusing, inconsistent and unprofessional receiving emails from various domains like Ignite, MyCruises and one more. This made it impossible to try to get a clear storyline and make sure emails did not go in Spam. The main contact Vicky Wanless apparently left the company but this was not communicated and there is no indication emails were forwarded to anyone. Emails quoted refund amounts subsequently amended. Many of my emails were not replied to, probably not even read. When my Virgin app which you absolutely need to book restaurants and shore excursions froze due to a data entry error by their staff, I received no assistance whatsoever from MyCruises. I was told to fix it myself with Virgin. It That in itself took 5 weeks of multiple calls, emails, rebooting, deleting the app, reinstalling etc. In short, these guys didn’t help with the problem, they ARE the problem.

Refunds: MyCruises cancelled in Feb my Dec cruise from Virgin due to repositioning. I was offered a full refund which we agreed on, via my TA who booked this. They are getting the run around re refund which was supposed to be 6-8 wks . I've tried to phone MC who won't tell us anything. I've also been on Cruise blog and it appears some passengers git refund after a few wks. Who is holding this $$ Virgin cruises or MC. Help please

We cruised with Princess Cruise line on the Crown Princess to the Hawaiian islands out of San Francisco, CA 4/4/24 and returned 4/20/24. We have cruised before, but this particular cruise was a complete disappointment. We have always been impressed with the great buffets on our past cruises and other dining options in the past, but the buffet wasn't; as good as, Golden Corral! The salads had no flavor, bacon was raw in appearance, Baked beans were just Pork n Beans. People were filling their drink cups and thermoses at the waitor's drink stations; if there had been a pandemic we would've been in trouble! I am always cautious; using my own bleach wipes to be safe when we dined, but even though I still ended up sick. I would venture to guess that at least 1/3 of the cruisers if not more became ill. I have never been sick on any other of my cruises in the past. I took photos of many people filling their personal containers at the drink station daily. We booked an excursion through Princess in Kauai to see a plantation and Panoramic Opaekaa Falls.We could not believe that this was an excursion provided by Princess cruise lines. Boarded a small train at the plantation for what consisted of a total of about 25 minutes (10 minutes of which was a stop to feed pigs and chickens, which we could've done at our local zoo!) The excursion promised shopping at the end of the train ride, but we were told we had 10 minutes to reboard the bus. This was barely enough time for a bathroom break; in fact, we ended up leaving two of our passengers behind. When we arrived at Opaekaa Falls, we were again told that we had 10 minutes to walk to the overlook and get back to the bus. It took the better part of 10 minutes to get everyone off of the bus! For this we paid $129.95 each. We along with several other participants in this excursion were left wondering what we even paid for... This was pretty much a no frills cruise.
