The worst company in the world!

The worst company! It’s impossible to buy a bundle on a sim only plan! Every month they have network issues. Third time I’ve bought a plan that doesn’t work and they refused to refund me! Now I’ve just bought a plan and it doesn’t work but half the internet says it’s been used????!??? so I have to spend 5 hours on hold trying to get through to them for them to not help! I want my money back you scammers! I’m going to buy a sim from a better company! I just tried to speak with someone about me having issues every month to buy a plan and the guy interrupted me and started speaking in his language for 2 minutes then came back and said “hello, are you there” then hung up immediately. My bundle I bought wasn’t working and I needed to make a call but it kept telling me to top up although I received a text 30 mins before to say my plan was activated. I turned my phone on and off checked the sim and still it wasn’t working. The unprofessional advisor told me it’s because I’m not registered, he says if you’re not registered you can’t buy a plan on the website, app or over the phone. I asked why we can both see on my account that I have a plan and some internet has been used although the plan wasn’t working and I was connected to my broadband the whole time. That’s when he hung up, he had no idea and decided to hang up. If you don’t know why my plan isn’t working, why hang up on someone being nice to you, we were obviously both confused. I raised a complaint 2 months ago as this happens every month and I’ve just been ignored. I’ve learned my lesson too many times now. I’ll NEVER use Lyca mobile again! Edit: the complaints team is none existent, they just ignore my emails and the phone staff don't understand english unfortunately!

No help from the customer care

My eSIM has suddenly stopped working and is displaying a "SIM Failed" message. I've tried calling customer care multiple times but haven’t been able to speak to anyone. The Live Chat option has been unhelpful—it doesn't offer any solutions relevant to my issue. I’ve also sent an email to customer support but have yet to receive a response. If I don’t hear back soon, I’ll have no choice but to switch providers. Prompt assistance would be appreciated.

Charged extra, refunded afterwards

I recently bought a 5£ monthly plan. I used their website to buy it, but the first two times it gave an error message. When the third payment went through, the first two times also did, charging me three times what I wanted. On top of that the data I bought ran out at the end of the month and I hadn't even used the data from those times I was charged extra. After this experience I was contacted and refunded for the two extra charges. I appreciate this gesture. Beware of purchases using their website and do not attempt again if the transaction appears to fail to go through.

Have not received SIM Card

Have not received SIM Card, I have been trying to contact customer services to find out what has happened, but this seems like an impossible quest. Chatbot is less than useless and doesn't connect you to an advisor. They say they respond to emails within 48 hours, but that hasn’t happened either, terrible customer service.

I have never received my SIM card

I have never received my SIM card ! I have been trying to call the customer service for 24 hours now and it is still on hold. There is NO WAY to block these SIM cards or to make sure that renewal is off. WORST SERVICE EVER

Lyca used to provide good service but become a scammer now

Lyca used to provide good service. However, it now feels like they operate more like scammers, just trying to rob and exploit people. I had a pay-as-you-go SIM, and somehow, they kept taking money from my account. Despite repeated phone calls, they continued charging me until I had to ask my bank to block the payments. I also had a pay-monthly plan and had set up a direct debit. After a few months, they stopped taking money from my account (I was using a different bank), and every month they would suspend my service and demand payment. Despite my repeated requests to resolve the issue, they kept doing the same thing. Eventually, I had to cancel my contract, as it was a pay-monthly rollover plan. They act more like scammers now than a real service provider. Feeling a bit more relaxed since I left.
