I had bought 3 sim card for my family who were visiting UK. When we registered before the end of the month, we also thought we need to renew and added money. However, auto plan renew was "on" and we did not know about it. When I realised there were 2 plans running on all the three SIMs and raised the issue with customer care, it was a nightmare to talk to someone sensible. Finally managed to talk to one customer care person and she said the money will be refunded. However, again we realised there was money was never refunded, and again when I contacted customer care, they never set it right. My sister who was on a trip, suddenly wasn't able to call or use internet.When I called them again,the customer care person based in Morocco went on talking without even listening to me or really does not making any sense as to what she is talking. I had to disconnect the call. As there are too many things going on in my life, I decided to let it go and not to bother taking them to consumer court. I paid £25 for one sim, £15 for two months and SIMs stopped working at the middle of the second month.I should have bought SIMs from other providers for that kind of money. If you want to use their SIM as they are the cheapest in the market, order few SIMs use it for a month and throw it. Never bother to register or renew the plan.

Having written a few mixed reviews in the past, this thankfully will be my final one, due to changing providers. If only there was a minus rating for them. For two months or more I've been trying to get simple answers for simple questions, I have now given up. I have tried live chat with a real person, as their chatbot cannot answer the questions, but no real person comes online after waiting close to 1 hour. I have spoken in person & who I spoke to did not have an answer. I have sent numerous emails & after waiting weeks for a reply, I get the same answers from various named so called 'customer service' staff, who as yet cannot answer my simple questions. It's always the same message like, we are sorry for this & will look into it, please use our App to find the answer. IF the answers were there, I would not be calling or sending emails. Yes their prices etc may be good, but customer service..... well is there a department for this! How strange that within 24 hours Lyca manage to respond to this review with their concerns, but cannot answer emails except with the same generated replies each time. Too little too late Lyca, and yes I have replied with my mobile number, I await with bated breath

SIM despatched really quickly. Setup a different story. Cannot set initial password on website. Cannot set any personal details at all. Cannot do a password reset either as that requires a date of birth which cannot be set. And first few calls have gone straight to voicemail (not set up) and didn't ring on the phone.
