Stay away!

Stay away! There motto is likely "the customer is always wrong." They have zero qualms being snappy and rude. They don't know how to properly fix their errors and somehow it is not the company's fault when they make mistakes. After a year away I foolishly tried to use them again, only to quickly realize that their customer service had not improved at all.

Worst service ever

Worst service ever, my transaction was declined twice for "fraud reasons" but the credit card had been charged. When I called (cause nobody called me back to verify any information) I was transferred twice and the only answer "order due to a denial generated by our fraud detection partner", that's it, nothing else and nobody can answer the reason it happened. I have two small kids that wanted their preferred food and it's impossible to pick up the food.

After being a good customer for years

After being a good customer for years, last night I tried ordering some chinese food and my card was not only charged twice for food I never received, but then when I called back today to complain and receive a refund (nobody answered and no delivery showed up last night so I ended up starving), they told me I was banned due to being flagged from some sort of separate security agency. I've had some problems in the past with delivery.com but this takes the cake! She wouldn't give me any info and was so rude so I just said give me my money back please and hung up. When I called the restaurant the man told me 'Don't use delivery.com they're the WORST!!'.

This website is a SCAM! Go to GRUBHUB!!

This is such a HORRIBLE SCAM website with a HORRIBLE service support. Full story here: I am at my boyfriends house and he gives me the tell a friend promotion for delivery.com. I try to place my first order with the promotion and we wait 4 HOURS for the food. We contacted the customer support 4 TIMES during that period. The customer service said they would refund the meal and placed $40 on the account since we waited SO long. We had gotten white castle because they took so LONG. The next day we place our order and they DEACTIVATED my account for promotion abuse. The customer service conversation we had said they would not renew the account because of the same address, and they think its the same person. I told them I can prove we are different people by telling them different phone numbers and that we can call them. Instead they hung up the conversation and said no. This app wasted over 5 HOURS of my time, and a big headache. THE WORST DELIVERY APP EVER. I have conversational screenshots which i plan to upload onto my youtube of 15,000 subscribers (Tazological). This is ridiculous, delete this app it is a scam. Go to Grubhub or Seamless, this organization is a scam. Just look at all the reviews.

Terrible service and something I won't be using again

Terrible service. Required a high minimum, and a high service fee. Then, for that service fee, they delivered my food 45 minutes later than the scheduled time. When I called to inquire, they didn't care about the lost time, didn't waive any of their fees, and were largely uninterested in the problem. They then told if I wrote a lengthy emai describing the problem I might get a $5 gift card. Not a trustworthy company at all, and certainly not one that cares about its customers.

order did not reach restaurant.

Placed order online, order confirmed and got a delivery estimate of 30mins. Waited for 30 min before going to restaurant for pickup. Luckily i called the restaurant before leaving my house and was told that no oder placed. Then i called delivery.com customer service, they said they are trying to reach the restaurant but can't. Finally cancelled my order. would be ideal if i got a cancellation email/call/text etc. will avoid delivery.com from now.

Worked flawlessly for me.

I just used delivery.com for the first time today and no issues whatsoever, not sure if they fixed the issue everyone else has been having or if I'm just the lucky one. But great service today, I picked up my food so there was no fee either.

Ordered once and got account deactivated

The second time I ordered from delivery.com, they cancelled my order and deactivated my account. I apparently had been flagged fraudulent. I asked customer service, who said they can only resubmit my account for review to their third party fraud detection partner. On second review, they decided to keep my account inactive. No word on how I can reactivate and they even said it was not possible to determine the reason why my account remains inactive. Their "third party fraud detection partner" is evidently terrible and I wonder why even have customer support if they are powerless to assist in account matters. I've gotten friends who referred me to delivery.com to stop using their services because EVERY case they handled here on trustpilot has been unprofessional and they clearly don't care about their user base.

Constant order cancellations

Horrible delivery service. Twice I ordered online and both times it was cancelled due to my account being flagged for fraud. The first time it happened, I called customer service who after re-checking my account, apologized and put my order through. She wouldn’t tell me why it was flagged but did assured me that it won’t happen again. Wrong!!! I’m not using their service again!

Very shady business practices by…

Very shady business practices by Delivery.com. My experience was similar to several previous reviewers. I signed up for a delivery.com account to order from a restaurant a few blocks from me. I thought the order went through, but then after a few minutes received a text saying my order was cancelled, and to check my email for further info. The email from delivery. com said my account was flagged and deactivated by their third party security company, due to suspicion of fraud, and gave an 800 number for further info. I called and got nowhere with customer service. They said they couldn't tell me why my account was flagged, but they could run a request while I waited to re-activate my account. I waited, and they came back on the line to say sorry, but the third party company had declined my request and my account was still flagged and deactivated. Over and over, the customer service rep repeated that they aren't told for what reason accounts are flagged, but that mine was flagged and there was nothing they or I could do about it. Sorta felt like the beginning of an episode of Black Mirror... Meanwhile, my husband called another restaurant and ordered food over the phone, so at least we got to eat dinner that night. After the call, I got a second email stating that my account was deactivated after the further review that I called to ask for (which is just what a fraudulent scammer would do, right?! Not). I replied to that email asking customer service to reach out to me to rectify the situation. I asked because I'm concerned that my info - name, address, email address, phone - has a "fraudulent" flag on it out there on the internet. Needless to say, they never called, and I forgot about it. Then today, I went to order from a different restaurant that also uses delivery.com. I tried to log in with the account info I had set up earlier in the month (thinking maybe their third party had reviewed my account info and could see that I'm legit), and, sure enough, got a message saying my account was deactivated and giving the 800 number. So, I first called a different Japanese restaurant *on the phone* and placed an order - then called delivery.com's customer service to see about activating my account and clearing my good name. Customer service referred to the order I had placed earlier in the month - that my account had been flagged and deactivated - and kept saying the same thing, over and over, even after I was transferred to a "supervisor." I was told that at some point they might decide to activate my account, but there is no way for me to request it or to appeal my account being shut down. Now, does this matter? I suppose not, though it is unsettling to think that "fraud" is being associated with my personal info for no good reason. It just seems like a crazy way to run a business, with me and several other reviewers experiencing the same random "suspicion" and "deactivating." Or maybe the business model is to keep delivery.com small and exclusive, and shutting people out for no reason makes other people who can use the website feel superior? Bad practices, bad customer service.

Cancels your order for no reason

Cancels your order for no reason, worst ever customer service. I set up a delivery.com account and put in an order which was delivered fine. About a week later I put in another order for $31 with the same restaurant. After waiting for the food I saw there was an email from them saying that there was an issue with the account. It had been flagged as fraudulent by their third party fraud detection partner. My order had been canceled. I called the number on the email and was told they couldn't tell me why it was flagged but they could put it under review and someday they might agree to activate it again. I kept asking questions and the customer service person hung up on me. I called my credit card company and they said they had approved the transaction. I responded to their email to ask why this had happened as both the address and the credit card were valid. I received an email response that their third party doesn't tell them why the account was flagged so there was no way I could ever know. What else besides the order, address and credit card could there be? DO NO USE THEM as your order could be cancelled at any time. I had no problem calling the restaurant and putting in the order by phone on my credit card.

I ordered via delivery.com and...THEY LIED AND LIED!

I ordered via delivery.com, even without a discount deal....from a down the block favored diner...very very recently...on a weekend...a place I had ordered-from for many years, as it uniquely served the immediate neighborhood and quite well, especially for brunch items... I hadn't gone down that block in a while, favoring a more Eastern direction for errands... Turns out, this longstanding neighborhood diner staple closed darkly closed down, all furniture and more...removed... Without knowing of this closure, I ordered via delivery dot douchebag com. until I online-complained about the waiting time (approaching an hour...unusual for Sunflower, being down the block) I was phone-called by some lying Delivery.com operative that Sunflower was still open and that Sunflower had a "problem with its phone" while my phone calls revealed "disconnected".... Bottom LINE? NOT only did some delivery.com robot LIE to me about Sunflower Diner still being "OPEN" but, my food would arrive soon. TONIGHT 11/8/18...SOME manipulative along the lines of tRump school of lying manipulation...refused to absorb what I've stated here...hung up on me several times because I called him on his manipulative program of changing the subject and ...BOTTOM LINE?: DELIVERY.COM LIES AND MANIPULATES. THEIR ALLEGED "CUSTOMER SUPPORT" DOUCHE BAGS??? THEY LIE...BE CAREFUL...DELIVERY.COM LIES...You won't really know WHERE your delivery food comes from.

awful

I don’t understand how a delivery company can possibly not know anything about the people actually delivering. I called to check on an order and thwy had no information- all they said is they had no way of knowing anything as a third party was used.

May need to call customer service multiple times to get results.

I called again today and was helped in minutes. My account was reactivated quickly. It seems I just got a bad manager that didn't represent the company as whole. Upping my rating from the 1 star to reflect that the issue was actually resolved and that I may have just gotten a bad supervisor who may not be representative of the company. ORIGINAL MESSAGE: My account was hijacked and my name/address was changed and an order was made with my credit card. They automatically detected this and locked my account and canceled my order and refunded my money. So far so good and kudos for this part. However when I called to unlock my account they said they could not unlock my account and that I could not open a new account. After a few escalations I asked the supervisor directly if "I [My First/Name]" am not allowed to use delviery.com and he said that I am not. I have no recourse for this no way to escalate. Additionally I asked if my girlfriend made an order would she get flagged for having the same address as me and they said it's possible but they could not say for sure so now she is effectively banned as well as long as she lives with me. This is unacceptable and disrespectful, all loyalty points lost as well. I know no company is required to give me service but to outright get banned from it because my account was stolen is adding insult to injury and frankly feels dehumanizing. I was victimized by both whoever hijacked my account and delivery.com itself.

WORST DELIVERY SERVICE EVER!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! HORRIBLE !!!! Phillipines Call Center

We have tried delivery.com 3x's. Lower prices than GrubHub and NON-EXISTENT Service from Phillipines Call Center. We have ZERO respect for any US Company too cheap that cares so little about their paying customers to use USA operators. Everyone knows foreign call centers DO NOT WORK. THEY COST business. Someone in the Phillipines or Asia that hates Americans will never provide good service. LOW LIGHTS: 1. Over an hour past the delivery time and no call. 2. When food arrived driver said not paid for. PrePaid in advance with tip which we requested credit. Added three calls and 20 minutes to food already cold. 3. Driver spoke zero English. 4. WORST PART- Delivery.com a. Poorly trained operator hung up onus after waiting 10 minutes for understaffed Phillipines operator to answer. b. Waited on hold ten more minutes before hanging up to call again. c. When finally got thru the barely speaking english operator actually told us they were too busy to help and call the restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY FOREVER D.Com !!!!!!!!! YOU and your foreign operators SUCK!!!!!!!! D stands for DUMP DELIVERY.Com as fast as you can and never consider to order with!!!!!!!

Placed an order for pizza using…

Placed an order for pizza using delivery.com for the first time. They charged my card then cancelled the order due to possible fraud. Spoke to supervisor who said it was done by a third party but he had no details. I asked how they could give my information to a third party without my permission. In addition this third party wouldn't tell them why my order was canceled. I did not give my information to a third party. On top of that it may take five days to get my money back. Do delivery.com it is the worst service ever. And the staff and supervisors can't answer any questions

Horrible delivery service

Horrible delivery service, i never had as many problems with other services than i do with deivery.com. They always take forever to submit and deliver my orders and the worst part is when they cancel the orders because the merchants are not reachable. They take your money out and then you have to wait 3-5 business days to be credited to your accounts. Two days in a row they cancelled my orders because they had problem reaching the merchant. The supervisor i spoke to, because the agent couldn't answer my questions, was not helpful at all, he wouldn't give me the corporate office number and pretty much did not care for my business. I never had these problems with seamless, caviar, door dash, only with delivery.com. Save yourself the stress and do not order through them.
