DO NOT ORDER FROM!!!! delivery.com

delivery.com cancelled my order after I waited for two hours and after a driver called and lied saying he was running late because he was stuck in traffic, when he hadn't even left the restaurant yet. He then assured me he was a half an hour away and would be there as soon as possible. I then received a call saying there were no available drivers and they cancelled my order! Definitely will never order from this company again! POOR customer service!

Here in Kolkata-India

Here in Kolkata-India, Delivery.com has the worst service I ever used. First time they cancelled my order without any intimation/confirmation. You wont get any calls regarding your order from them and customer support will never give you the contact number of delivery boy. You should always wait upto 6 minutes over the line for connecting to their customer support. I am fed with this service. this is the third time i am facing bad experience from this service.

Don't use Delivery.com for Laundry

I've used delivery.com for laundry service for the last 9 months, and of the 15+ orders that I've placed with them, I've had the pickup person be unable to find me (I live on a main street in NYC) over 5 times, the delivery not come within the promised delivery window 7 times that I specifically counted (and I'm not talking "oh he came 15 minutes late", those times were over 2 hours after each time and three of those times they didn't come for a whole extra day. Which is a problem when you are a student or work and can't wait around all day for a delivery. Last night I made an order pickup between 4-7 (the time I usually select) for the cost I usually pay, but this time the delivery person never came, and then at 10 pm my account was flagged for "suspicious activity". My account was rendered inactive, I can't even log into it, and when I called the company they informed me that a third party security company had considered something about the process to be an "irregularity", so they had to put a hold on my account- and I couldn't have them remove the hold. The only way to get the hold removed is to make a request to the security company- which according to the service person, will take "[she] doesn't know how long". I suspect the real reason my account has been shut down is that I finally earned enough "rewards points" to get a 10$-off coupon from the company. Delivery.com's approach to customer service and business is lackadaisical and unprofessional and literally keeps me away from my job and my classes trying to handle their mistakes. I've decided I don't care about the $10 coupon, nothing's worth having to keep dealing with this company even if it's only once a fortnight.

I really enjoy your business

I really enjoy your business. I prefer it over any other food ordering app in the city. There are always great choices and usually no mistakes. I have recommended Delivery.com to many of my friends and they have shared it with theirs.

Horrible food delivery experience

Horrible experience. Don't trust delivery.com - they assume you want to PICKUP your order on own. My order was listed as pickup - yet I scratch my head thinking - "Why in the world would I use a company called DELIVERY.com for a pickup ?!!" My food was finally delivered cold and was made incorrectly from what I placed on my online order with Delivery.com. The merchant apologized completely as they said they were provided with a different order than what I had submitted with delivery.com. This is no comparison to other companies - grubhub and Foodler know what they're doing.

Laundry Servces

I have been using the laundry services throughout college and usually the service has been great. However, recently the ultra laundromat picked up my laundry and delivered it later that day with a few articles of clothing missing. I was incredibly upset as some of these pieces of clothing had sentimental value to me. I called and even went to the ultra laundromat in person where I was told there was nothing they could do. So basically I paid $60 to have my clothes lost and was never offered to be reimbursed in any way. Very very disappointed with the service.

been using them since college off and on. their reward points aren't as good as they used to be, but all in all a reliable place to get food from. every now and then they send e-mails about little promos they're doing, which is cute.

You need to be upfront on delivery …

You need to be upfront on delivery times. If you place an order, customers don't expect to wait for over 2 hours for delivery without notice.

Don't waste your time, order from GrubHub instead

This site is a scam. Tonight I decided to switch things up a bit and try out delivery.com. I will not make that mistake again. They wasted no time taking my money, but never placed the order. Over an hour later, AFTER I have already called the restaurant using the contact number on their site, they finally send me an email saying 'oopsie, your order didn't go through... tee-hee'. A refund? You'll have to wait 1-5 days... Never again.

AWFUL

They gave me a credit for a mistake and then credit was not applied. When I tried to work things out with them, they could see the credit but still didn't apply to my order. Just a real exercise in frustration. Inept.

Bad first experience

I ordered food through delivery.com & the driver called and said the restaurant wasnt answering the phone and he was going to refund my money in 1-5 business days its been 2 weeks i still have not recieved my refund ITS A TOTAL SCAM

Delivery estimates way off

Before I place the order, the delivery estimate said 30-35 mins. Once I placed the order, I received a text that said my food would be delivered within 1 hour and 30 minutes...HUH? I called the restaurant (which is FOUR blocks from my apt) and they said the text estimates are totally off and that the food should be here in 30 mins.

My order was cancelled after one hour

They cancelled my order after 1 hour, without telling me, I only knew that my order was cancelled after I called, I waited for one hour for nothing! And they're giving my money back after 2 business days! At least they should've gave me some points for that, I was starving and waited for an hour then I had to order again from another restaurant, so I had to wait for another hour, they tortured me for tow hours! Very unprofessional disrespectful and unorganized.

Great Idea, Bad Execution

The idea of this company is great, but the actual company itself is awful. My overall experience has left me frustrated and deservingly. Their customer service is below subpar and they don't seem to care about actually making the customer happy. They also refunded me the wrong amount after seeceral email exchanges and arguments on my part to get there. You see, they had charged me twice for one order, the difference in tips. I needed my money back because $19 can make a difference in a college student's life. They refunded me the lower amount even though I said the higher (because the actual restaurant I ordered from was rude to me as well and I felt they were undeserving of a big tip). Ordering take out should never be this difficult, I would have rather roughed it with an apple than what I went through for a sandwhich.
