Do yourself a favor. NEVER use this service. Always late, food always cold and drinks are included half the time. Gave them three tries, i'm done!

So I ordered food that never got to me…

So I ordered food that never got to me and when I contacted delivery.com they informed me that I would not be able to get my money back because the the restaurant has to return my payment. The restaurant told me that delivery.com had to refund my money. Just go through uber eats or DoorDash and save yourself the money and the hassle.

Service costs so far through the roof

Service costs so far through the roof, the fact of getting something delivered has become more expensive than what you’re buying. I’ve been a huge supporter of this site since they very first started; I started ordering from them when I was 19. That’s a long frickin time ago. A long time (I’m sorry to admit). And, especially as my husband is in the restaurant industry and I despise how badly most of the apps treat restaurants and their workers, fleecing them, I’ve tried to stick with delivery.com, when we can afford it and I’m physically able to eat. It’s unfortunately become impossible. If it costs more for the ability to order than for the food itself? It’s literally impossible. I dearly hope they find a way to stay afloat. Especially given the pandemic, being sick for 3 months, endless bills (medical and otherwise,) and now being disabled? And- my husband working endless hours trying to survive in the restaurant industry, himself? I, we, no longer have the privilege of taking a stand, when it comes to economic considerations. I’m so truly sorry. I tried. For a very very long time. It’s no longer possible, given your through the roof charges, so very far beyond anyone else’s. I still kept trying. I just can’t cause us to go bankrupt and hungry on the basis of trying to fight the essential monopolies of other corporations. I’d also like us both to stay alive and continue to have roofs over our heads. Idealism can only take one so far. I’m sorry. PS If anyone can please interpret how their below reply provided any further information, context, or response to my concerns, I’m all ears. All I have is to perhaps apologize that I happen to live in one of those “certain markets”? That’s pretty much all I gleaned from their kindly reply (in addition to their similarly non-explicatory note they posted when they added the obscenely high service fees about 3 months into the pandemic). And- if you don’t happen to live in one of the “relevant” markets? We’re talking literally costs over the costs of what is being ordered, fairly consistently. I’m sorry to say- unless people (and some do) have essentially endless money, the calculus at which you so painstakingly arrived? It’s beyond insupportable. And- usurious. Thank you for the additional explication? Now, my husband is back to work for his 7th 12 hour shift in a row at his restaurant...

Food never arrives on time

Food never arrives on time. A minimum of two hours for it to arrive. Food will be cold and partially eaten, drinks will be warm, and you won't be refunded. Do yourself a favor and use a different service.

Worst experience EVER

Ordered food, got to me over almost a hour late with ZERO communication. When it got here, drink was half empty. Told driver to to it back to restaraunt and get me a refund. She waited until i closed my door, left the order on my front step and took off out of my driveway. When i contacted delivery.com about it, i was offered the delivery fee refund. I dont care about the refunded delivery fee, give me the tip back at least. I followed this driver on the map provided by the company, after receiving notification that my order was on the way. She toured the entire town before coming this way! Sat in a parking lot for 15-20 minutes, then came to deliver my order. Completely unprofessional, and unacceptable!

Delivery.com is a scam

I spent 35 dollars on an order that never arrived. When i reached out to delivery.com about it i was treated like i was trying to swindle them and my supposed delivery driver practically accused me of lying. I am told i cannot receive a refund or get my order re-instated and that i must wait 24 to 48 hours for the escalated resolution to take place. This is a garbage service that treats their customers like they’re crooks. I will never use this service again.

Worst delivery service I've used and…

Worst delivery service I've used and they are also the most expensive. And, somehow, they managed to make it so I wasn't able to access the alternative delivery service listed on the restaurant's site. Sent me the wrong order and when I called to complain some chippy in South Africa argued with me. They got $10 from me for a $27 order of food that had to travel ten blocks. But they'll never get another dime especially if they don't hire people in America for customer service.

Complete lie and scam

Complete lie and scam. I contacted the restaurant after an hour being late and they said the food had been sitting for over 30 minutes. Called delivery.com customer service... another joke. No assistance whatsoever. The restaurant literally said, delivery.com charged $13 too much for your order. We are so sorry, we recommend Doordash. I asked for a refund and was refused by delivery.com. The food was delivered 1 hour and 20 minutes late and completely cold. By the way, delivery.com is not an American company. They were confused by my time zone. Beware. Scam alert!

ZERO STARS

What a bunch of liars and scammers this company is. Ordered dinner at 5:17pm, food arrived at 6pm. Order was missing an item, had a wrong item ordered (even though the email receipt showed the what we ordered) food was overcooked to the point it was not edible. Called the place we ordered from, NO record on file that our order was placed or picked up (called three places within a 50 mile radius), and NO receipt on the bag either to show the order was even paid for. Now I'm stuck with food we can't eat or return, because Delivery.Com refuses to send the driver back with the receipt, they won't refund any of what I paid (will be on phone with the bank in the AM!) and they still haven't issued a refund for the items that were "supposedly" not in stock at the restaurant we ordered from. DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT use Delivery.COM EDIT: I forgot to add - There is a SERVICE Charge on top of the $4.99 delivery fee AND they INCLUDE these charges WHEN THEY ADD THE TAX - which is not allowed in WA State.... the tip is added AFTER the tax. Nowhere when I placed the order did it say I was going to be charged a SERVICE CHARGE. I ended up paying close to $15.00 to have this delivery delivered and it's not even correct OR with a receipt from the restaurant. DO NOT USE DELIVERY.COM

What a scam Delivery.com is. I placed an order online with my favorite restaurant, added a 15% tip for the restaurant. The bill came to $60.60 which is all that showed onscreen when I concluded my purchase. My husband PICKED THE FOOD UP... and when I got the receipt in the food box, the bil was $66.42. I looked through the charges and found that there was a "service charge" of $5.82 -- that was above and beyond the $7.28 tip. I called Delivery.com for an explanation... why, if the order was PICKED UP, did I get a service charge? Does it really cost 5.82 to send an email to the restaurant? "Well, ma'am that's what we charge in NJ, NY and CA since COVID". FIrst off, I doubt it was since COVID... Second.... why was that charge not shown on the final amount before I paid with my credit card? Then the woman said... "do you want me to reduce the amount of the tip?" I said, "NO, the restaurant did all the work, they deserve the tip. You guys moved your fingers across the keyboard for a couple of seconds, didn't even deliver the food and I'm supposed to be OK with paying 12% for that?" Expletive and I hung up. Never Never Never to use them again. It's all a scam.

Placed at 515pm MST, 705 pm and still not order

Placed at 515pm MST, called establishment at 634 pm MST, to be told that they never received the order, sent a chat to delivery.com at 635pm, Candace B lied and said the driver was running late and would be a drop off in 20 minutes. I pressed a little more, then told by Candace at 643pm that my order was placed. it is 7 pm MST and I still have not received my order. I was charged before my order was confirmed. Please teach your employees not to lie to customers. Also, I do not care about 3000 deliver points, I just want prompt honest service.

Food wasn't mine and drink was compromised

Order food what I order was not in bag have attempted contact delivery.com with no resolution they claim to have credit me money so I look and where I was told it is it wasnt. No where do I see it. I have decided best it to chop it up as review driver seem nice but I believe drank my soda as straw was in soda looks like some was gone i can't say for sure though i dumped soda delivery.com is ok but not door dash or one better delivery company

Do not use this service

Do not use this service. You will be disappointed and hungry. The business I ordered my food from had 3 complaints about them not including mine by the middle of the week.

This company trash I worked for them…

This company trash I worked for them for a week and every other ordered was either messed up or I would arrive at the restaurant to find the order hadn’t even been called in. Do not use this service way unprofessional the owner is a joke and the way they did their business pretty sure it was illegal.

Never on time

My fiance' and I have ordered twice from here, once was a order for time of order placed, another for a scheduled order for our lunch break. Both times the food got to us 2-3 HOURS past when the order was placed or scheduled for, then they have different people call from the company multiple times giving completely different excuses and the most recent order asked if we still wanted our food.... yes! We are still waiting for it and it's been paid for! Nor did they refund us or do anything to make up for it. We will not be ordering through them ever again. Also... they said Starbucks doesn't open until 10:45am, no, they open at 6am. Don't waste your time with this company.

It was hard not using obscene language in this review

$30 pizza order that sat on the counter for OVER AN HOUR before my driver picked it up. It somehow arrived even more disgusting than your customer service team. When I tried to get my money back I was placed on hold for 8 minutes and offered a $10 credit. BS!!!!!!!!

awful

so i ordered my food around 4:45pm , it is now 7pm & i still haven’t got it. they charged my card instantly , before it was even “confirmed” by the restaurant. i called the restaurant around 5:45 since my delivery time was only “30-45 minutes” and the restaurant said they haven’t even received the order because delivery.com hasn’t even placed it. so i contacted customer service via calling , and they said they’d be at my address in 30 more minutes. so i waited ... at 6:30 i contacted them again & they said i was never assigned a driver so they had to find someone. it is now 7:15pm and i JUST received my food (2.25 hours after i ordered). i contacted customer service asking if i could at least get partial compensation for everything, and they said no :)

Delivery.com is a scam

Delivery.com is a scam. Took our online order for Chinese food, travelled 5 miles to get it only to have them tell us they aren't affiliated with Delivery.com. But the charge went unto our credit card as if they were legit.
