Never again

Never again. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if that were possible. I ordered the food at 5:49 PM and the estimated wait was an hour. An hour later, I received a voicemail message that the order was going to be 45 minutes to an hour late. An hour later when I called back the number that had called me, I was told the the order had been cancelled because they weren't able to find a driver. Then I was told it would take 3-5 business days for me to get my money back! Unbelievable!

MADD NURSES!!!!

OMG!! I wish I had read the reviews before ordering. 1 hour 45 minutes is the projected time to get our delivery that we ordered at 11:45 am! Restaurant is 15 minutes down the road. NEVER AGAIN will we use this service!!!

Avoid like the plague!!!!!

This was, without a doubt, the worst experience ever, ordered food at 5:18 PM...its now 8:35 and I'm still waiting. Avoid this like the plague. However the driver was polite. And hustled.

Cold late as food

You know I didn't even want to give them a star That's how bad the service is I understand this when you don't get a hold of a customer why would you think after an hour that the customer still wants the food Don't get me wrong there are still some m************ out here let's go eat that cold-ass food but there's still a majority of out here that will not and I'm part of that majority had enough nerve to tell me I wouldn't get a refund even if I did cancel the order because it's been over the recommended time for it to be delivered if I was all get a car go get your own food I'll call a friend give them gas money and go get your food f*** delivery.com

The worst deliver company ever

Should be a way to give a review on the negative scale. If it were possible they would have a negative 2000 rating the absolute worst. What they don’t tell you is, the order is only placed once they locate a driver. So, after you place your order, they’ll locate the driver which in my case is over two hours. They don’t tell you this and instead keep pushing the time further back until your lunch is now your dinner. If you complain they give you a 10.00 credit for their company which is useless because you will never use them again!

12.10.2020 never got my food

I spent 35 dollars on food that never arrived. When i reached out to delivery.com about it I was treated like I was lying. I was told I cannot receive a refund and that I must wait 2-3 days for the escalated resolution to take place. It has now been 7 days and I’m still waiting. Going to dispute the charge and report them to the Attorney General. This is a terrible service that treats their customers like they’re wrong. I will never use this service again.

Suggestion for delivery.com

Suggestion for delivery.com: Don't pay your drivers until AFTER they complete a delivery. Over an hour late -- Called the restaurant who told me that before I called, they even had to call the driver to find out what was going on. I was excited for another delivery service option, but if you're going to compete with grubhub and doordash, you might want to make a few changes.

Terrible service do not use

Terrible service do not use ! The answering service in West Palm Beach, Florida are high school drop outs who flat out lie about when the order is expected. No idea where any restaurants or residence locations are ! Food is cold - no apologies or refunds ! Delivery.com need to have their license revoked and I look forward to terminating this group

Absolutely awful

Absolutely awful. Order was over an hour late, and customer service is horrible. The worst part is, you have to tip the driver before their service is provided so they get the same tip no matter how horrible they are. Will not be using again.

Worst service I have ever received

Worst service I have ever received, never got our food. Person on phone was absolutely no help. Told us the delivery driver delivered our food to wrong house. Delivery driver went back to get our food 45 minutes later from the wrong house and said they threw it away. Most ridiculous service in the industry. I will never use this service again and I will make sure I tell as many people as I can how bad their customer service is. They do not care about your business that's for sure.

Stupid delivery.com canceled my order…

Stupid delivery.com canceled my order for no f****** reason but took my money. I called the store they had the food I ordered there so why delivery.com said it was no longer available is beyond me. And they stole my money!!!! WTH ?!!!

best to order a day in advance--and they will still be late

last order took 2.5 hours for delivery (the time before it never arrived)...driver dropped the food in front of the door and ran down the steps instead of apologizing. was PROMISED a call from local management within 48 hours to address the issue--call never came. customer service said "be patient"...lol...this is by far the worst food delivery service I've ever used--zero accountability once they get your money. UPDATE: it's now been 6 days and I'm still waiting for that phone call from "local management"

First time ordering with this service

First time ordering with this service. Waited way past the delivery time and finally called them. They said they had tried to reach the restaurant 3 times but were not able to connect. Why did they not let us know???? I called the restaurant too and they were clearly closed. Stay away!

Delivery.com blames restaurant for items not being delivered

I used the delivery service in Ohio. A side, dipping sauce, and rolls were not delivered. I called delivery.com to let them know and see if we could receive the missing items. They stated unless it’s an entree, they are not obligated to go back to the restaurant and retrieve the items. They also said the restaurant is responsible for them failing to deliver the food because the restaurant did not place the items in the bag. So, a delivery service that takes no responsibility for not delivering what was ordered...interesting.

A Delivery.com ad popped up on the…

A Delivery.com ad popped up on the restaurant we were deciding to order from while staying at a NY hotel during COVID-19. I attempted to place the order, but the order would not allow me to enter an address. After several attempts and chats with a "live person" I was able to place my order which included the address for delivery. In the chat I specifically stated this was for delivery and was told everything was all set. After waiting for over an hour I called the restaurant to see if the order has been picked up they said it had not. I called delivery.com. They told me that the restaurant doesn't deliver, hello that is why we were having it delivered by delivery.com so I thought. I was told that I would have to pick my own order up. I said why would I pay a delivery service to order my food and I pick it up? I stated that I didn't have transportation at the time and that was the reason delivery was chosen. After reviewing the chat which indicated that delivery was agreed to I was told to cancel the food order with the restaurant, to order from another restaurant that they deliver and delivery.com would deliver it OR get a credit for another time with delivery.com. NO WAY!!!. After going back and forth we went to pick up our cold food. The restaurant was closed when we were able to pick it up. I would NEVER recommend this app. Stick with Uber Eats or Grubhub. When a company makes a mistake and REFUSES to refund your money and tells you to cancel the order with a restaurant and re order...that is NOT good business. I wish I would have read these reviews first but we just had a long ride to NY, were tired and wanted to eat. I believe in good customer service and spend my money accordingly. I would NEVER knowingly use this service. I see the company has offered their apologies but that just doesn't cut it. I want my money back for your misinformation, my time, frustration and $58 of cold food. I called my card company to dispute the order as I was unsure if this were a dummy company who a fraudulently ordered from. I would rate no stars if I could. By the way I ordered the next day from the hotel with Uber eats no problem.

Quarantine Gratitude

I am in quarantine and therefore very dependent on food delivery. I am so grateful for the excellent service that I have received. The food is left in careful and environmentally sound packaging at my front door. I needed cream for my coffee and it was put in a separate container. The food, itself, is really good, the kind that I love. Whoever set up Ack Eats deserves a medal.
