Perfect in Paris!!!

Ik vind het zo gek dat het aantal sterren zo laag is!Wij verbleven in Parijs-Champs Elysees en het was fantastisch.Natuurlijk is het duur en maakt het contactloze verblijf het een beetje onpersoonlijk maar áls er iets is,is er meteen iemand bereikbaar! Wij vonden het helemaal top!Locatie perfect,kamer perfect (midden in de drukte en toch helemaal stil) én dat dakterras is echt té lekker!

Great hotels, dishonest loyalty program procedure

I've stayed in citizenM hotels in a few cities around the world and always really enjoyed the experience but last year, they upgraded my account to the gratitude membership for free. I didn't do anything, it just happened. Today, they tried to take $120 from my account as a renewal. I find this incredibly sneaky. There was no warning that I would be charged unless I took action. It just feels really dishonest, especially as my initial upgrade was unsolicited. I likely won't use them again after this

Will come back

After a cancelled flight I got a last minute night in the Amsterdam Schipol hotel. The hotel is very close to the terminal. I had a good breakfast, nice bed and the most friendly staff I met during my whole Netherlands stay. Yes, the rooms are small but is an airport hotel, not made for long holidays and is making good use of the space. Loved the Ipad that controlled everything, the noise suppression room and the fact that the blinds really kept the room dark. Will definitely stay here again for short city breaks as better and cheaper than the hotel I had in Amsterdam

Size of the room

Size of the room, very small, few hairs in the bed, marks on the bed duvet cover sheet, some hairs on the shower tray floor. Sink is outside the shower and toilet cubicle. It seems everything is crammed in to a box room. Width of the room is the width of the bed. No tea or coffee in the room. With regards to the breakfast, pretty average, scrambled egg not nice, streaky bacon served, no salmon after being told by the staff there was. Lack of communication. Total price £355.00. Not good value for the price. Two positive comments, staff were friendly and views from the room and rooftop bar, very good.

Customer service and satisfaction isn’t in their nature

Seems I’m not the only person who has found their customer service - NIL. I’d advise against using them as a cheaper option, because you get what you pay for. Cheap and very little help if you need it.

Disgusting treatment by the hotel and…

Disgusting treatment by the hotel and booking.com I made this booking in good faith on an advertised price. 4 days later on the morning of the booking they cancelled the booking while I was asleep at 2am saying it was advertised at the wrong price. This is totally a disgusting way to treat a customer and not honouring the advertised price, their customer service was very unforgiving and offered a price at 5 times the advertised price to reinstate the booking! Beware of this hotel Tower Hill London.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. We asked for recommendations on finding a babysitter or babysitting service for an adult night out. Their answer to every question from the start was simply "no" There was no apology or explanation as to why they couldn't help or make a recommendation. The "friendly human" as they call it was very unfriendly.

Abonnement abusif!!

J'apprécie beaucoup cette chaine d'hôtel. Je prends donc un abonnement pour profiter des avantages. Pour des raisons personnelles, je décide donc d'annuler mon abonnement. Je reçois bien un email me confirmant l'annulation. Quelques mois après, je me fais débiter pour une année complète. Malgré des discussions avec le service client (peu aimable), il n'accepte toujours pas de me rembourser! Vraiment déçu !

The best experience ever

The best experience ever, our flight were declined, so we had to booked another hotel very quick, employes were absolutely fantastic especially Atooshi❤️ ,Alectrona❤️(the best drag queens in the world) and also Aleandro (receptionist) he was so sweet and helpfull❤️❤️ this hotel should be renamed to House of Angels❤️ because there are some Angels under the roof❤️ Thomas AkA Valkeria from Czech

3:00 am cocoa

Friendly staff, clean room and fun lobby! Loved the huge window overlooking the bay! Couldn't sleep so I wandered down to Lobby where staff made me a hot cocoa. Definitely coming back. <3

Overpriced, underserved

Overpriced, lack of service. Folks, this place is weird. The theme of the hotel is weird, the rooms are tiny. Think half the size of a normal hotel room. Everything‘s operated by a little iPad and when it’s not working, you can’t turn your lights on and off or even your TV on and off. Zero amenities. They don’t even provide coffee in the room. No microwave in the room and the refrigerator they give you is about the size of a milk carton. This place is like a hotel from some dystopian novel. Another example of a place they want you to serve yourself but pay them and tip them.

Extremely helpful

I needed to call the Paris Gare de Lyon CitizenM hotel (from UK) to ask questions about available wheelchair accessible rooms etc. I have had the most helpful person on the phone - gentleman called David. Nothing was a problem and everything explained clearly. I will most certainly be booking into this hotel and will write another review of the actual experience at the hotel. If it is anything like their phone helpline, it will be brilliant 5 stars again.

I passed by the front desk last night…

I passed by the front desk last night needing assistance with car service. The gentleman at front desk jumped into action right away & he saved the day! He is my superhero believe it or not 🦹🏾‍♂️. I was miles from home & needed to rush to the train station to get it on time before the strike began. Thank God for him we arrived safety to out destination. The hotel lobby is RADIANT!! This place is GORGEOUS!!

What an utterly dreadful experience

What an utterly dreadful experience! Not only did I have to extend my stay twice due to insurmountable obstacles, but I also faced significant inconvenience throughout. The lack of competence in record-keeping led me to consider switching hotels altogether. My weekend plans were completely ruined as I dealt with payment issues, and the establishment's unconventional hospitality felt like a nightmare. Not only did they fail to clean my room for over a week, but they also audaciously diverted $6 daily to their charity without consent for not providing cleaning services—a bizarre practice indeed. Their fluctuating rates felt like exploitation, and the lack of transparency and fair pricing was unacceptable. Everything, from requesting an iron to ordering food (with no room service available), seemed problematic. It felt like I was working for all my needs during my stay, only to be met with disappointment. This ordeal has left me thoroughly disillusioned with their supposed high-tech service. I truly sympathize with the staff who struggle to explain the constant issues to frustrated guests. You'd be better off at any motel than this disastrous establishment!
