Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

I am very disappointed about the water quality because of the quantities of chemicals it is impossible to drink and wash. The very strong smell of chlorine in water and limescale in large quantities causes skin irritation. The TDS value is around 370 and in other cases 477 what I think is above the limit admitted. The water price is very high for water treated with chemicals that can seriously damage the body. After distilling the water at the end of the distillation cup, the chemicals are observed in a very thick layer with a very toxic odor to bear.

Truly awful.....Mix up over our DD which they cancelled without telling us. Long story short, they said it would go to court. We called up, paid what was owed and set up DD for rest of year, got letters to prove this. Next thing we know is the legal team have canx the DD, saying it should never have been done and refused to take any further payment. Now have a court date for a few weeks time as they continue to refuse to take payment and are hell- bent on it going to court and wasting everyone’s time and my money!! How much is still owing??? £130!!! FFS, if they didn’t cancel the DD set up in October it would all be paid by now. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company - God forbid you ever have to speak to anyone in the legal department there. I am making official complaints to the necessary legal bodies.

Excellent customer service and company. We had a drain problem affecting us and a neighbour, called Anglian Water who were great on the phone and had somebody out within hours to resolve the problem in minutes. I found them to be a great company to deal with and very friendly staff.

I would like to thank Anglian Water for their prompt amazing service. Two Employees Kevin Brown and David Herrington have attended our property to rectify a water leakage. They are not only very efficient but also extremely pleasant and polite. We would like to thank Anglian Water and Kevin and David.

I cannot fanthom how this company can just monopolised the entire Anglian Region and bill or invoiced household as and when they please and we have no grounds to stand on as they are the only water provider! For 3 years I’ve been monitoring how this company has con us. Every year they would increase our direct debit then charge us extra £70 plus for presumably extra usage every year. They tell us that every year our usage increase so to cover for this they will increase the direct debit to £13( from £33 to £46) Last year from £30 direct debit I’ve been told they will increase it to £40 which I contest and they brought it down to £33 but still had a £72 bill extra in January so every year, they seem to make up their minds that there’s an increase of our usage by over £70 even tho they have increased the direct debit to cover it??? Before we spoke to them on the phone, I could see the history of my payments going back to 2017 then after speaking to them on the phone, this history was removed. But here is what they have done for the last 3 years. 2016-2017- direct debit increase from £28-£30 but payed £77 in the January for extra usage so I’ve been told 2017-2018- direct debit they originally said would increase to £40! I got it down to £33 then had another bill of £72.42 in January?????? 2018-2019 Now the took out a direct debit of £46! Until presumable 2020!!!! We got it down to £39 direct debit but warned us that there might be another extra bill of £70 in January 2020????? It seems to me that they increase direct debit every year but charge you extra too??? How can they justify this increase when there’s no change in our circumstances there’s only 2 people in the house???

I would also agree they can be easy to talk to and they do explain bills well. But it is an utter farce they take high fees for drainage even when the property is empty. I was told it was because rain falls on my property and into the sewers - rubbish as yes, some does but lots just goes into the soil. Very high standing charges, it annoys me greatly how the sewerage bill from Anglian is always much higher than my actual water bill itself. We desperately need to be able to change water companies as easily as we can electricity and gas. A bill from Anglian is the number 1 'for what?????' bill.

I would give one star but I have two as I have found Anglian Water really helpfully over the phone. However, the water rates for my property in Haverhill and many times more expensive than the water rates for my property in London. Not only that, the water is not of great quality, it has a very strong chlorine smell and is very hard, I certainly don’t trust drinking it and so I buy bottled water for drinking and cooking which as you can imagine, is very expensive. So I wonder why Anglian water are very expensive compared to other water companies but yet the quality of water is somewhat less than other companies

I called to report my waste water running very slow from the kitchen sink in fact almost blocked. I was told they will be round within a day and two hours later I had a guy round. Unfortunately he couldn't resolve my problem but I wish he tried to unblock by using rods or what ever he could but instead he advised me what I can do and that I most likely need a plumber.... But they still attended and really quickly.
