Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.
Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Disappointing, it would be greatly appreciated if Anglian Water gave service with care and understanding, going the extra mile is not necessarily hard and is greatly appreciated! Anglian Water came out to look for my main stopcock. I needed to turn off the water and replace a broken outside tap. Stopcock found and moved into the chamber with water meter. Water meter and stopcock replaced - they were not a sturdy as original! Impossible to find a plumber who would change a tap. Water had been running from the outside tap for several months. Dad believed in do it yourself, don't rely on others, so I bought wrenches! New main stopcock wouldn't turn off, called Anglian Water. Workman called said it's only 1/4 turn to left. Made a Y ended stick to turn off water as stopcock as it's at the bottom of chamber. I had an accident, fell and broke several ribs, confined to chair. Water was still running faster from broken tap - terrible waste! Phoned Anglian Water several times requesting them to change the outside tap, only a couple of meters from the stopcock! I live alone in a rural area, I'm 74, have broken ribs and no one to help! Anglian Water could have asked the workman to change the outside tap when he did the stopcock. No, jobsworth rules! Have tap running nearly full on, can't do anything about it myself, plumbers won't come out! Will have to get Anglian Water out again as stopcock still won't turn off Now 6 weeks since I broke my ribs, getting better slowly, doctor said it will take at least 6 months! Disappointed with Anglian Water who have been consistently adamant they would not allow their workman to change the outside tap when they called to carry out work on the main stopcock. Anglian Water have no qualms about not helping elderly customers, leave them to it, how disappointing!

Some weeks ago I noticed a small water leak that was entering our cellar from an area adjacent to the water meter in the street. I contacted Anglian Water customer services who told me they would investigate the issue promptly and within 24 hours a team arrived who diagnosed the problem and advised me that the leak would be attended to within 10 days. After 7 days a team of both pleasant and professional operational staff turned up and fixed the leak, and the day after that another team back-filled the hole and reinstated the footpath. Take a bow Anglian Water, other companies should use you as a shining example of how to do things right, promptly and without hassle. Thank you.

After receiving an unusually high water bill i rang Anglian water twice and talked to two very helpful employees who helped me check for a leak and search for solutions. Several weeks down the track the issued hadn't been solved and I found out it was a leak on the property caused by a faulty boiler which the landlord was responsible for. Again i called Anglian and they were very helpful and pragmatic. This may be the best customer service i have received, I'm a little dumbfounded and simply had to write a review.

Had a supply problem today, the ring back in two minutes service worked well. In less than an hour I had been contacted by a local engineer who explained the reason for the problem. A riverside slippage had damaged a pipe. Polite, efficient and helpful.

Absolutely appalling service. Lost two direct debit forms. Just had to send a third. Departments don’t communicate with each other. Don’t respond to emails. Wait an eternity to get calls answered. Threaten disconnection even when they’ve been paid. An absolutely shambolic company. Stay away if you possibly can. I’m looking to move ASAP!

After Homeserve found a problem over our boundary we were referred to Anglian water, the engineer attended about 3 hours afterwards we were impressed as it was a Saturday evening as with the homeserve engineer he listened to our plight with the help of his camera etc deemed our pipes and beyond were now fine explained everything to us and gave us some helpful tips. We were most impressed. Thanks Anglian Water.

Always had great service from the call centre when I’ve called. They can’t seem to set up DD over the phone though. My issue is now resolved but it did take over a year of my DD being returned by Anglian water before they finally sorted it. Perhaps they need a better IT team
