Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Having moved into a bungalow that had…

Having moved into a bungalow that had been empty for some months, the toilets soon began to back up due to the compacted waste in the sewers. A friend tried rodding them with little success and so I picked a drain cleaner at random and called them. They were busy but advised I called Anglian (I am an Anglian customer) as they might fix the issue for free if my sewers are shared with my neighbours (which I believed they were). The chap on the phone was very helpful and said he would try and get an engineer to come out that day (it was about 2pm when I called), but in any case within 24 hours). The engineer came out a couple of hours later and jetted through the drain, resolving the problem. He then advised that, looking at my property, the part of the sewer that had blocked was not shared and therefore in theory I should be liable for the cost, However, as it was a quick fix and we had just moved in to the house and were not responsible for the blockage, he would put it down as goodwill. Obviously a blocked toilet and sink is the last thing you want when you've been through the stress of a house move and so this was a fantastic response. I didn't get the chap's name but it was a callout to Melford Road, Cavendish on 10th December so if Anglian can track him down, give him a pat on the back.

Absolutely ruddy brilliant

Absolutely ruddy brilliant, faultless tonight and a real sweetheart. First bill on new home was 6 months previous, she just corrected it, applied discounts, re-calculated the bill, set up new direct debit, old online account transferred and live within minutes! WHy cant all utilities work like this? It was actually a pleasure. WELL DONE ANGLIAN.

Policies must be honoured

Following a complaint, it took six months (and advice to the company from the overseeing body) to achieve an outcome that honours Anglian Water’s extravagant customer promises.

Terrible service and over charging for…

Terrible service and over charging for work. Did not call back when they say they would. I had to speak to 5 different call handlers to get a sensible response. Uncaring response to complaints. What's worse, there is no consumer choice or market competition so I have no choice but to give this company my money.

Excellent customer service

I am a75 year old disabled pensioner with bad copd.yesterday I spoke to a lady (claire) at anglian water and must point out she was so helpful-understanding- the help she gave me was second to none she was cheerful-- someone who understands . She was one the best customer service agents I have ever dealt with 10 out 10. Thankyou.

Paid our bill every month without fail

Paid our bill every month without fail, only for them to be reporting bad credit. Found out when applying for a mortgage. They said the DD amount they set up every year was not enough to cover our bills. Dishonestly told us they have sent letters to this effect, when all our bill say the opposite as far as I can see. If I could I would change water supplier without hesitation but cant!
