Constant problems with no water

Constant problems with no water can't replace the pipes but can pay their shareholders

Entering day 4 without mains water

Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

Blocked shared sewer leaving myself my…

Blocked shared sewer leaving myself my wife and 3 kids , my elderly retired neighbours at the MERCY OF ANGLIAN WATER FOR 4 DAYS . NO TOILET USE AND NO WASHING . We had to resort to driving around to my mothers house and my neighbours used there sons . The issue is a poorly laid sewer on the public side which causes issues every two years due to scale build up because it is not fully free flowing and when blocked leads to sewage leaking onto my property outside our front door . Anglian Water took £4.6bn in dividend YET now they have the cheek to say they need to increase all our bills by 30% for infrastructure and to help them stop throwing waist in our rivers! Money grabbing utility companies have got away with day light robbery and Ofwat and consecutive governments are to blame. Not to mention leaving 3 children under 10 without toilet facilities!!! Britain is broken

Monopoly structure needs to be removed immediately

Phoned up about a sewage issue. Severn trent pointed me to Anglian. Friendly customer service but was then informed that nothing could be done as for some reason they stated it was on private property. Remember, this is an organisation that has no competition and seems to get away with extortionate charging. Anyway I was told, nothing can be done, but brought up the issue of monopolies and hung up. I received a text message (out of the blue) that someone would turn up in a few days. They did and investigated. I would complain to ofwat, but they can't be trusted....Search this (I was amazed when I saw this) 'Guardian Ofwat accused of cover-up over dinners with water companies' - Its quite astonishing. Bear in mind this is what has been found out!! When is something going to be done about these monopolies and stop the huge rip of the UK public - we're all sick and tired of it.

Due to a medical condition I use/need more water than most individuals, the gentleman that I spoke to at Anglian simply could not do enough to help me with my rising bills and was an absolute delight to chat with. Outstanding customer service that proves some companies invest in the right people.

Anglian have been trying to get a water leak fixed for about a year now. Last we were told it would be fixed in Jan 2025. Got a call today (08 Feb 2025) to say we had a water leak! The leak we told Anglian about which they were supposed to fix last month.

Unhelpful

Customer helpline is a joke; they're more concerned with getting you through security than actually helping. And no not just once, you go through it every time they pass you on! You know, just in case anyone decides to pay your bill or puts their name on it for you! Once again, issue still not resolved at the end of the call, pity they have a monopoly of supply

Wonderful people and a great service.

We had a blocked sewer and when we phoned the staff were really caring and concerned. Brenda was fantastic and Alicia was so concerned. Fantastic staff and Lee came out to clear the blockage at 6:00 pm after working a more than full day 15 hour day on a Sunday - wow! He was brilliant a great guy. Did the job in 15 minutes. Anglian Water staff really care about their customers. Wonderful people and a great service.

Very useful customer service.

My first bill was issued today for what I believed to be a relatively large amount for three weeks of water use. I went to the Anglian Water website and requested a callback using their online system. Within 12 seconds (exactly),, my phone rang. An automated system asked me to press one, and one ring later, I was through to the invaluable, kind, friendly, and professional Leigh. Thanks to Leigh for their aid on the 31st following my first bill. Without hesitation, she instructed someone to come out to find, read, and update my property's meter. I hope that this outstanding service remains and we don't run into any issues with Anglian Water.

Awful threatening language

Such awful language and approach when sending correspondence about an unpaid bill. I can only apologise for the late payment which I’m sure you shall forward on to your shareholders. Thank you so much for the abusive and threatening language sent to me. Incredible customer service(!) Considering the appalling state of our rivers etc. it’s incredible they even have the gall to behave this way.
