Entering day 4 without mains water. No end in sight. Apparently they can’t find the cause of the supply failure.

Dreadful service

Reported a domestic water leak almost 3 weeks ago. An initial visit confirmed it was the company's responsibility to repair but a follow up visit was needed. 3 weeks pass & the same technician turns up to take photos of the leak he saw 3 weeks before. In the interim no.proactive communication from the.companu. Promised callbacks never came. And.booked visits never happened. Awful! And I have no alternative provider.I can switch to. Simply.awful service

My gripe has nothing to do with water…

My gripe has nothing to do with water supply but billing. Imagine my surprise when I received a letter from Anglia Water at my address but addressed to someone else. More consternation when I checked my online account to find an update saying "thankyou for letting us know your moving out" excuse me ? The error seems to be a neighbour moving out and the wrong account has been amended. That could have been an inadvertent error on the part of the other household but how is it possible to cancel a direct debit when the name/address/account details do not match up. To give a little credit a phone call sorted this out relatively quickly but this amounts to a serious internal process failure on the part of Anglia Water at the very minimum.

I’d sue for coffee expenses…

Let’s be honest, the water is tripe. 80% of coffees I make just curdle, the water pressure drops constantly until you find yourself washing under a drip and the price for everything just goes up. They will try and charge you for services that you don’t require, for example rain water run off for me. I wouldn’t mind but there’s no drains for miles, are they charging me to have water run onto a field? Do they charge the farmers too?!

I had to give 1 star as 0 was…

I had to give 1 star as 0 was unavailable. I have no water, 23.07.22 time 16.18. My road was blocked off at 01.30 this morning as the road closed signs were installed. Not a workman in site, the road lost water/low water pressure 24hrs ago. Rang anglia water this morning, queue 28 to 45 mins, told press 1 for call back. They called back 30 mins later, and put me back in the queue. Rang later and spoke to someone, I asked why the repair time had gone from 12.00 to 22 00, apparently a difficult fix, who would you know I asked as a spade hasn't touched ther turf. The technicians would assess this, as they know. The same ones that said it would be fixed at 12.00 I asked, the powers that be would know this was the reply, maybe we haven't got the permits to shut road yet. Hang on I've already told you the road is shut. Basically no water at my house, thousands of gallons going doing the road. No one with a spade to look at it and......I bet they put a hose pipe ban in place soon. Love every drop, if you can get one.

After a major leak in our area

After a major leak in our area, we found when supplies were turned back on we had no supply to Our upstairs bathroom . We were told by Anglian Water it wasn't their problem and to phone a plumber . After paying over £150 ( A lot for a pensioner!) We were told it was an air pocket caused by the break in water supply . Surely Anglian water should bare some responsibility ?

Excellent and swift service

Sunday 12.30 blocked drain (backed up with sewage, etc) reported by phone, including ring back system so that I didn’t have to hold. By soon after 2pm my drain was cleared as were those of 2 neighbours. No cost to me as it wasn’t just my drain. What an excellent service!! Thank you so much Anglian Water!!

I was three weeks late paying my water…

I was three weeks late paying my water bill as I was looking after an ill relative and Anglian Water instructed debt collectors. What great service and lets care for our customer - NOT. Not happy and I had paid my bill before i received a letter from the debt collectors.... Hope that cost you money!

Fantastic customer service

We had a serious water leak under our house which we first discovered when we received an enormous water bill. Anglia Water could not have ben more helpful from start to finish, they immediately canceled the bill and suggested next courses of action for us. Christine was brilliant and it is so refreshing to be able to actually speak to another human being rather than a series of automated voices or on line chatter. Brilliant customer service

Pleasantly surprised

Had trouble with an outside sewer blockage and the guy on the phone couldn’t be nicer, he reassured us that I was speaking to the right people and that he’d send someone out to fix the issue in 24 hours. They came in 2. Fixed the issue and the cause of the issue. Super thankful for such an easy experience

A sigh of relief...

I've been struggling with my water bill for nearly a year now. When I finally plucked up the courage to reach out, they couldn't have been more helpful. I have a young child who because of a medical condition has to be bathed morning and night and also went through a relationship breakdown. They have reduced my upcoming bills and have placed me on their priority list (which I did not know existed!) And have suggested a payment plan which I can afford. Thank you so much!
