I’ll try this again. This did not tell me anything except for who my father was, which I already knew. I then tried to put my mother‘s name in and it, spelt it wrong for her first name. I thought this was going to tell me my ancestry of my origins.
I didn’t get anything. Also paid for a family tree. I set up my account and for some reason, an email & password was assigned I need some help Please ReSPOND

Everything I try to fill out to start a tree, blocks me so that I can’t fill in the information.
My experience has been wonderful. I bought an ancestry test for myself, my husband and all of our children and it has been fun learning about our roots!
Nothing helpful that I didn't already know. No info on my father's side. The side i know nothing about or anyone.
Used to love it, but it’s become such a big scam. If you sign up, be prepared and do your research otherwise you will be automatically enrolled in plans you might not want. Even if you sign up it’s still limited access. The undisclosed cancellation fee is kinda crazy too. Honestly you could probably find what you need elsewhere. I for sure won’t be back on there ever again.
The results were not easy to read nor understand
The results have come back and you get a little information , however if you want anything substantial or want to connect with other possible family members you have to pay???
It took forever to get results, the website and app experience are clumsy and awkward, ...and every little piece of information comes with additional charges plus a gimmick to get me into subscription charges.
Growing up my family didn’t go to big reunions or gatherings. In fact we had a relatively small family. After my dad passed there was a rumor that his dad had been born out of an affair prior to marriage. Back in the early 1900s this was not something people spoke of. Getting on ancestry I was able to validate this story. That my grandfather was born a without a dad, and that man had a different last name then the one I always took. Bc of this his brothers and sisters dismissed him. Even though my Step- great grandfather took my grandfather in as his own. The brothers and sisters did not, and never invited him to the family reunions. I am grateful to Ancestry to be able to track my family lineage. Both of my namesake and now this other last name I never knew of. Also being able to track my mothers side of the family to find out why my grandmother and all her siblings took the same middle name. Even though there was no lineage of this name. Come to find out her grandmother on her father’s side had been previously married. And that name was the name of the man that passed before remarrying to my 2nd-great grandfather. Something that I did not realize I would really get into, was the ability to look up census records and find occupations of my ancestors. Yes, there were many farmers. As well as, Shoemaker, Crane Operator, generations of Clothier Drapers. Blacksmiths and Bricklayers, Confectioners and Bakers! Generations of Piano Builders. I found out that my 3rd great grandfather on my dad’s side was an Axe Maker, and now I’ve started collecting vintage axes from the plant he worked at in Pennsylvania. Yes, Ancestry unearthed some secrets of the past. But it also opened up life to generations of family that I never heard about. About lineage and living that I would never know about if it weren’t for the records and access Ancestry gave me. Thank you for a service that is easy to navigate, and more than that amazingly fun to deep dive into! Thank you, Chris
You said my results are in but I can’t see them. When I hit the DNA button it says they are ready but no results — very disappointing.

I mean it’s just a tad confusing especially since everything is blocked off from Any other useful information. The dna is kinda confusing to figure out how they got those results

I NEVER GOT MY RESULTS!!! All I got was invitations to buy more additional Ancestry products. I feel like I have been defrauded. The tips you sent me kept saying my MOTHER was my great grandmother on my Parental side.
Y’all give me just to try and hook me!! Give me all the information you have!! I paid for it!! I’m not paying anymore, not gonna refer y’all because of this!!!!
This was a complete waste of money! We paid for the traits/DNA hoping it would be somewhat helpful for health reasons and it was not. Not in the slightest. Has nothing to do with health. It’s bs like if you drink caffeine or finger length. Random things that do not matter in the slightest, that is in total bs. None of it was correct. And the site goes down so much that you can’t read your results. Complete waste of money and time!
