They didn't give me any important information, different from what I already knew. Based on the data I provided, they only changed the way they gave it to me. For example, I answered that I don't have freckles. The website's response was, "You're a person who will never have freckles, hahaha." The question was, "Can you move your ears at the same time?" My answer was, "Yes." The system's response was, "You're a person who moves your ears at the same time, hahaha." Money wasted.

Honestly, I am still waiting on my results. But I keep getting bombarded with emails regarding paying additional money for research. So I’m not sure yet how I exactly feel about it at the end. This is how I feel about it now.

The MOST accurate dna results I have ever received

Ancestry DNA would not honor the price of $69 for 2 DNA kits.

Unable to even see my results. Buy a kit and register it and can’t see the results.

The information did not provide any information that was not already known and did not go back far enough. It was a waste of money.

I got one of the standard DNA tests a while ago, and i submitted the sample around mid april. i registered the kit, got it activated and received all updates up to the DNA is being analyzed. two days before i was supposed to receive the results, the DNA test vanished from my account. I contacted support and they said it was manually deleted, and that i’d have to buy another test. i did not delete it and it was not linked to a different account.

I was not impressed. No where was my maiden name. Out of all the names i only knew 4. My Son, Grandson, a sister and a cousin. So how do i know if all the others are related. I would like a family tree but 24.99 a month is a bit much. I am on SS, so i can not fit that in my budget every month. I guess i will just keep going with the way it is. Hopefully i will find out who all those strangers are.

I loved learning where my ancestors were from and when they came to the United States! Thank you Ancestry!

So far I have not seen any close relatives yet but I just got my DNA matches today so give me some time. It's cool to find out where I'm from but I want to find my biological family and so far it's been a bunch of 2nd cousins no parental match yet

I love this experience, me and my parents got to know some of our older family members we did not know.
