Too many paywalls

Really wish there wasn’t so many paywalls for things. It should just be one subscription fee that covers everything

Guessing Is Not Always The Correct Answer

Having thought that my ancestry was more mainline Europe, I was very surprised that over 95% of England, Scotland and Ireland shows my ancestry line.

Vague

Somewhat interesting, but not very specific for regions - my main region was England and Northern Europe (all one category) which includes many distinct countries.

I’m on ancestry again because I wasn’t able to get on due to incorrect passwords. Ancestry has me on as two persons me and MB, I do not have a twin, it’s confusing, the DNA is different.

Ancestry.com is such a scam

Ancestry.com is such a scam, duped me in with a free 14 day trial, ended up costing me $50 to cancel. Paid $100 for DNA results and now am being prompted to buy a DNA kit, no records are linked to the account (even though I received a message stating that my results are available).

The don't have very good records

The don't have very good records. They system will try to place you with other people's history using some random AI that is very rarely correct and they make the cancellation process very difficult so you will likely see many charges com your way before you are able to actually cancel the service.

I've done my dna test about 8 yrs ago

I've done my dna test about 8 yrs ago, the first results of origion of my ancestors compared to now are extremely different !! Surely my dna and l are still the same- they say changes are due to linking to other people! But this is not what dna is about right? Anyone can guess ones knew storey of relatives etc- also it approximates 1-2% to regions that possibly could have link to, NOT necessarily have any link to! Id say 25% approximate 65- 75% actual dna results!

Family dna

I was pleased what information came from my DNA. That I am pretty much all European. I knew my ancestors came from England on the May flower. Would love to explore further. Thank you and your great work.
