I've been working for Aluve of Urang for 2 yesrs or so and have found her and the rest of the team to be very conscientious. They genuinely care about their clients !
Great company. Very happy with the results.
They spend all owners money and accuse you of breaking a light cover when it was broken already and than try to accuse you of breaking it when I don’t even use the lift. Try to repay you back a light bulb you paid for yourself to help get your building back up and running and puts it through Urang expense as company clothing expense. And sends the following email! Schindler lifts are renowned to have silly expensive prices for a plastic light cover! You go out of your way to find a cheaper alternative and he sends a email to accuse you of breaking it and costs are now down to people who are trying to help and make the building and community and better place. Sorry for my late replay. Southern Counties Lift Services, the current lift maintenance contractors have quoted £288 per diffuser to supply and fit. That is only £8 more that what you quoted for supply only. It will be better if the engineers fit the diffusers. If anything goes wrong, at least they can come back and remedy free of charge. The cost for the replacement of the cover in 84 that broke after you replaced the light tube, I am sorry to say, I have to pass it to yourself and Steven to cover. Few other diffusers also broke after I instructed the site manager to replace light tubes, following your lead. Many thanks for your assistance. Kind regards, Iv**a
Very slow and ignores issues logged to URANG. URANG Property Manager can't manage the Fairthorn Road Development.
Absolute scumbags.
Utterly dreadful. If you are looking to change managing agents, steer clear of these cowboys. In my entire career I have never come across such shambolic people and practices!
The team had a great presentation when we first took on their services, however a lot was not delivered or followed up on. Our volunteer directors have had to walk them through the basics of transparency and accountability. We hope that the service will improve.
Poor on all fronts from my experience as a resident. Very light touch (if any) on essential maintenance and support, no idea about basic processes and take every opportunity to throw in additional charges. I was charged an obscene amount and forced to pay after having not seen a service charge notice - there was no audit trail that this had been sent. Urang just took the opportunity to put it in a solicitors hands in order to force my hand. Stay away!!
I have never worked with a company that is so useless. They claim to be a really good property management company, but they are a bunch of cowboys. They messed up our finances, let the blocks fall into a bad state, and have zero management skills.
Manager for the property I currently reside in and Max Raymond who is the building manager was extremely helpful on a matter in relation to the property lease, and also great to have him on site on a weekly basis in terms of engagement
Great company to work alongside, efficient and friendly staff
Max is really easy to deal with, he responds quickly and is fair and understanding.
The Urang Building office team have been really helpful, and all three technicians who visited us have been professional, polite and efficient, and their work has been to a high standard. We are delighted with the service.
Terrible Service.
Unprofessional and negligent company , have had extremely poor experience. Our building block is managed by Urang and the service is nonexistent. Our elevators are often out of service for more than 3 weeks in a row, the bin area is overflowing with trash, couriers can’t get access to our apartment as the building signage is incorrect - Have e-mailed Urang about this 4 months ago and it was promised to be taken care of and until this day nothing has been done. Avoid this company like a plague.
Starting with the obvious: these guys are ethically reprehensible. They're very quick to say how much they care about residents but, when it comes to taking action, they're happy to leave potentially dangerous damage without repair. Specifically, my partner's building has had (among many other issues) a leak in the roof for a year. Black mould is visible, electrical damage has been flagged by electricians - privately hired, because Urang couldn't be bothered to send anyone - and structural damage is an eventual certainty. Urang don't give a damn. Over the course of a year, the damage has increased and the condition of the property has deteriorated. Meanwhile, they barely respond to emails, phone calls, or people turning up at their offices (they're still working with a skeleton staff "due to Covid"). Arguably, they're doing their jobs by shielding the freeholder - whose legal responsibility it is to make the repairs. Ultimately, though, their negligence in addressing the problem in a timely fashion opens both themselves and the freeholder up to legal action. So I'm not really sure who benefits from having to work with them - it seems like everyone suffers.
My property in Camberwell is managed by Urang. I have been pleading with them for a year to get the freeholder to fix a leak in my roof (which is his legal responsibility). In that time, the damage to my property has continued: first with water damage to my walls and possessions, next with mould growing in my bedroom, then damage to the electrical circuits. Urang have just ignored all of that and told me that there isn't money to fix the roof. That's despite the thousands of pounds in service charges I've paid over the years. They ignore the dangers to myself and other residents in my building (structural damage, electrical fire risk, mould) while the freeholder sits idly by. Having said all that the company have had a meeting with me (yesterday) - once they explain and communicate I felt satisfied that things are going forward. The difficulties always seem to be two fold about 1. money and 2. communication. I hope our relationship will improve from this point. I consider myself to be pretty reasonable - if things are properly explained and I can see to some extent things progressing, I am satisfied. It is when I am giving money away and things don't improve and no one picks up the phone or reply's to emails that I become irate.
Excellent service from Caitlin and the whole the Property Maintenance team. I needed a cable fitted at my commercial premises. The work was done quickly and professionally. Thankyou!
Really great team. Did some jobs at my bar and were highly professional and really reasonable. Would recommend.
Thank you Urang's Property Maintenance team. We had some issues with our plumming in our business and the guys were able to come fast and resolve it within an hour of calling
Thank you to Max for very efficiently organising various contractors to carry out work in our flat. Straightforward, efficient and timely!
