Absolutely useless company.
Absolutely useless company. They manage a building with a parking and I am stuck in the parking for 8 hours and counting. They don’t know who can fix the door. My car is there and I can’t go home.

I've been working for Aluve of Urang for 2 yesrs or so and have found her and the rest of the team to be very conscientious. They genuinely care about their clients !

Absolutely ridiculous management. They manage one property which I rent. I never had to deal with such unprofessional people. Never let you know when they will do some work in the property, give access to the maintenance without your consent.
Similar to other one star reviews, it is startling how alike our complaints our. Our new build block only opened 2.5 years ago. In that time, we have had one meeting with Urang, and that was earlier this summer and was the result of several leaseholders agreeing to collectively withhold service charge payments. Unfortunately, no update following that meeting nor actions followed up. The person who held that meeting was an assistant account manager and I feel for him, he clearly doesn’t have the delegated authority we need to get resolution on our issues but nor does he appear to be escalating them or signposting us on to someone with the right level of authority. I have reams of emails and calls over the two years that went unanswered, but be sure, they are quick to make contact when payments are due. The left hand doesn’t talk to right hand, interest is building up on unpaid service fees yet the accounts team know this is because they are in dispute (over the quality and actual validity of the breakdown). Similar to Rodrigo’s comment, I had to be the one to advise them of having solar panels on the roof. I was also the first person to take a metre reading on their behalf. All of our complaints and concerns surround discrepancies and inconsistencies in the accounts and quality of service on the ground. We aren’t being unreasonable and simply want to have a logical conversation with someone but this never happens. It’s honestly borderline gaslighting the way they dismiss or ignore everything you point out to them. The most recent exchange I’ve seen from them puts down our concerns to “the cost of living crisis causing people to lash out at property managers”. Yet we are a small block, all young professionals and we can and would pay, all we are asking for is the quality of service expected of such a company. Unfortunately that hasn’t been our experience and is infuriating how such a poorly run company is making such profits off residents.
Lee is helpful, friendly and efficient whenever he comes to our building in Camberwell to fix issues in the common areas. Really appreciate all your help Lee!
Liezl Stals is helpful, competent and professional! Not only she took care of the issues in the building, but also, she was so kind as to keep the tenants informed by e-mail. Great service. Thank you!
Useless. They are the most unhelpful, lazy building management I have ever encountered. A complete lack of urgency on a number of serious building issues. Staff turnover is incredibly high with a number of 'managers' being assigned to the same building in a very short period of time, none of which have successfully actioned any of the issues with the building raised by countless tenants, nor has anyone ever offered to take a semblance of responsibility or act with any urgency in resolving these matters. Avoid like the plague!
Chris (one member of the many Urang personnel) assigned to help manage our property has been consistently helpful, polite and responsive when a request has been raised. He listens and has stepped outside of his immediate responsibilities to help us. I appreciate the continuity of the service that he has provided us. He is the only member of the team that is reliable, without which foe is Urang would be a faceless organisation.
This company are a disgrace, they seem determined to be as obstructive as possible. Whilst in the process of selling my leasehold flat that Urang are the management company for, I was informed by my solicitor in April 2023 that the management company had changed to Urang in October 2022. There had been no attempt by Urang to make leaseholders aware of the change which meant no services had been carried out to the properties and leaseholder were still paying services charges to the old company. For months my solicitor and I have been battling to get Urang to provide information and respond to enquiries and all they seem to do is pass the buck onto someone else. The only way I have been able to get any response is to send very strongly worded emails and even then their responses have been pathetic. Because Urang can't be bothered to do the job the leaseholders pay them for, my Freeholder is now annoyed at me and my solicitor because we contacted him directly under instruction from Urang. I am now under my doctor's supervision because of the stress this whole situation has caused me, I am now experiencing daily nose bleeds due to high blood pressure. I don't know how a company can get away with treating people the way they do, all I want to do is get on with my life but Urang seem set on ruining it!
Extremely helpful and very responsive to the mails. On Phone I found him a very patient and pleasant person to deal with. Provide all the required details promptly which make our work easier. He is the best in assisting. Would recommend him.
Appalling property managers. Service charge increase of nearly 60% with extremely questionable methods of tracking delivery vs scope. Avoid like the plague.
Roaan Piek is the best always support replies to emails and understand situation, Thanks a lot for your great service
Competent professional management agency who can help provide solutions for leaseholders. In my experience Urang have been trustworthy and diligent with maintaining our block. We have had at least two very good property managers whom have been very helpful over the years.
Roaan Piek was very quick and helpful . Thank you very much
Chris Lombard is the individual at Urang who looks after our building and I find him to be responsive and helpful - he is an asset to the Urang business.
Urang have a new member of staff - Roaan Piek. Roaan is incredibly hard-working, knowledgeable, efficient and always responds to messages immediately. A huge asset to Urang's and definitely due a promotion.
Chris Lombard is the contact for our contract with Urang. Our contract has been active for the last 10 years. When Chris joined and took over our contract we noticed a great improvement. He is always available, efficient, polite and controls the costs and works with due diligence.
Chris Lombard has been my property manager at urang for a while now and he has been great at ensuring that everything goes smoothly. I would strongly recommend working with him.
Urang service from Property manager Chris Lombard has always been very professional efficient and quick.
I have been forced to use Urang since 2014 and until Chris Lombard came along the experience was dire. Chris has changed that. He is attentive and responsive and is always as helpful as he can be.
I have consistently found Chris Lombard to be extremely responsive, extremely helpful, and ready to go the extra mile to help us and to find a way of meeting our needs. He is a great asset to Urang, who we otherwise have found quite disappointing. He is completely a breathe of fresh air.
