TurnKey Vacation Rentals

Pigeon forge vacation was great. Renting was so easy. We had routine communication leading up to our trip. We didn’t experience any issues with our rental property.

Our trip to Ocean City, MD was a wonderful experience. The Condo was exactly as described. We had a small hiccup with the WiFi but it was quickly addressed via text message with a TurnKey rep.

They were great in communicating everything with me. If I had a question, I had a response within 15 mins if not immediately.

We had a great week in this condo. The only draw back was that I wish the description would have explained that the condo was a full mile walk from the beach. It said “walking distance,” but that’s a stretch. Place was exceptionally clean and the only issue (ceiling fan was loose and noisy) was addressed within hours of our reporting it to management. They even extended our stay by one day with a quick text message.

Terrible, terrible management. We had a toilet that was clogged and then the other toilet clogged later the same day because of being on the same line. Took my whole Saturday to get some out to fix it. Literally called company 20 times trying to get someone out to fix it. Finally had to call plumber on my own. Ruined my whole vacation.

Our vacation rental in Port Aransas, Tx was perfect. Very clean, comfortable and in a great location. The communication from Turnkey was great. Very easy check in and check out process.

We rented a home in Palm Springs that is managed by Turn key. The house was very clean and well equipped. When we arrived the A/c was on along with the fans and nice music playing. It set the tone for our stay. They were very good about communicating how to check in and making sure all went well. Very impressed.

Used Turnkey to book a belated Mother’s Day weekend at Four Winds. While this is not our usual spot, we were excited to try a new place along the gulf coast. The entire experience was sub-par. Turnkey is very “take it or leave it”. We requested an additional day multiple weeks in advance when the room was not showing “booked” and were told, still without the room showing booked, that this was not possible. They were also made certain to tell us there was no chance for early checkin/late check out. We requested an additional parking pass and no give there either despite a half full parking lot EVERY DAY and a maximum allowed occupancy of 6 in our room which easily requires 2 vehicles for transportation. Property management was borderline harassing, horribly inconsistent and just plain unbothered. First, the elevator broke the morning of our second day. My pregnant wife had to walk up flights of stairs multiple times a day as we as our toddler with us. While this was great exercise, this was no one’s idea of a good time. This elevator being down made the ENTIRE BUILDING non-ADA complaint and there were at least 2 other guests in wheelchairs staying at the property on upper level floors. It took more than 24 hours for the elevator to be back to working condition. Second, the one parking pass we were allowed was prominently displayed on the dashboard. We came to our vehicle on day 3 to find a warning that our vehicle was in “violation of parking rules and at risk for being towed”. The vehicle was parked appropriately between two lines, in a regular parking spot, in the half empty parking lot belonging to Four Winds. Lastly, there is NO posting on our “room rules” or any place outside of the non-working elevator that says to not leave things in the hallway. We left 2 small folding beach chairs and a small bag of sand toys neatly against the wall near our door. We received a warning on our door the following morning that we were “in violation of city/county/state fire codes and/or property rules and regulations”. We are not near the fire escape. We would not have had to even cross these items to escape for a fire. Our neighbors, right next to the fire escape, left a large wagon and 2 folding chairs in the hallway without any “rules violation”notice for 2 days. Along with guests’ personal items, due to the non-working elevators, carts were left throughout the hallways also as a potential hazard for any emergency escape and property management chose to overlook this as well. And while we are discussing fire escapes, the fire alarm was pulled at 11pm on our final night. We evacuated the building, the fire department went to the floor where the alarm was pulled and allowed us back to our room. We were grateful for them and grateful there was no damage to the property. To end with any of the positives, the pool was well maintained, the umbrella boy was personable and the overall location in Orange beach was fine. We won’t be back to Four Winds or using TurnKey for any further booking.

Absolutely a perfect vacation home! Immaculate and beautiful seaside decor. Comfortable sleeping arrangements for a multi-generational retreat. Very welcoming community with ammenities galore, just a short walk or golf cart ride to the sea.

It was just as we expected. I like the floors. They do show up a lot of dirt and sand but they’re easy to clean and you feel comfortable with a clean floor not the carpet. Bathrooms were adequate and everything was very clean. Great view from the balcony. TVs were a little hard to figure how to use. We knew up front that the one in the bedroom, the small bedroom did not work. Good price for a good room. Concrete walkways and barriers I felt more safe. Swimming pool they were excellent. Even a heated swimming pool inside. Excellent. Beach access and the spigot to clean the beach equipment and your feet was superb excellent layout. It seems minor but when you’re coming in from the beach each day getting everything rest office cumbersome and they made it very easy. Only drawbacks were two First: the beds, the one I slept in, the double bed or queen it was hard. Second: the lock box to get into the building I don’t think they keep up with the keys. The key I obtained did not work the entrance door. The other family living with me their key didn’t work either. We had no access. Someone had lost their keys and I found them and had no way to return them so I used them instead. This is something I think needs to be fixed

Seamless Travel Experience! Communication was excellent and our house was above our expectations.

First of all I want to say the folks that I talked to at TKVR were all pleasant. I spoke with two people and received a call back from one of them after they plead my case to a superior. I had an issue with the website that caused me to believe that I had not booked something that I had actually booked per later information. In the mean time I booked another rental and was unable to cancel the TKVR rental due to "Policies". I explained that no one in their right mind books two rentals for the same time period and due to the website error was the only reason I had given up on their rental and moved on to another. Basically they did not care.

Very nice place to stay. Quiet and very roomy.

The house worked well for what we needed. The pictures that are on the site made the space look way larger that it actually was. We still enjoyed the view and rooms though. Just a couple things that I would recommend: housekeeping to remove cobwebs off of mirrors, pictures, corners and such. There was an issue with silverfish as well, so maybe exterminate on a regular basis. And finally, we had an issue that made us actually lose our reservation and only having 4 hours to address a billing issue. I am a teacher and am not on my computer for several hours. Once I got back to my laptop and found out what was going on, Turnkey had already canceled our reservation even though I had made the deposit over 6 months earlier. Thankfully no one had reserve the house for the same date, so they could reinstate our reservation. This will really frustrating and stressful! I think this process needs to be reviewed. Overall, we made some great memories with our adult kids and grandchild! Thanks!

Great place to stay. Lovely grill and patio -- clean place to stay -- spacious enough to fit several guests with room to spare. Would love to stay here again.
