I received my August TokyoTreat box today. I was afraid it wouldn't reach me because of a typo on my address. I missed out on last month's snacks because of this, unfortunately. However! TokyoTreat was very helpful when I contacted them about the issue. They offered to replace my box and I would only need to cover the shipping cost. Thanks to this I will still get to try next year's July box. Their customer service is swift and was very helpful.

They took my money in April but didn’t ship out anything until Aug. They didn’t communicate at all and then refused to refund for all the months they missed despite this being a gift for someone who had a birthday in May.

I ordered their subscription box as a gift for my kids and then cancelled prior to the next billing cycle. They charged me anyway, never responded back to requests for refund, and never shipped any boxes in that shipment. They are based in Japan and so unless you speak Japanese you are likely not going to get actual assistance. They submitted the previous years shipping confirmations claiming they did ship it. I will never recommend them to anyone.

This is terrific, didn’t have to wait long for shipping. The snacks are awesome and well packaged. Planning to get a few subscriptions for upcoming holiday seasons. Highly recommended!

First couple of orders so far and I’m absolutely loving it, the snacks are so good. The packaging is so cool. I’m a snacky person and this is awesome, only thing I can say is this is amazing. And I want more haha! I go through them to fast sometimes because they are sooo good!!!

Ich habe eine Bestellung bei Tokyo Treat aufgegeben, wollte diese aber kurz danach stornieren. Trotz sofortiger Kontaktaufnahme wurde meine Stornierungsanfrage ignoriert bzw. immer weiter hinausgezögert. Offenbar ist das System darauf ausgelegt, Stornierungen bewusst zu verschleppen. Sehr enttäuschend – ich hätte mehr Kundenfreundlichkeit erwartet. Wer hier bestellt, sollte wissen, dass eine Änderung oder ein Rücktritt vom Kauf so gut wie unmöglich ist. Für mich war das das erste und letzte Mal!

Tokyo Treat is a very difficult and cumbersome company to navigate. I did a 12 month box with them and did not know that it was automatically signed up as an auto renew. They give you no notice that your renewal is coming up and then all of a sudden I'm being charged over 500 dollars. I contact customer support and they will not give me a refund. I have asked multiple times but they will only cancel my account but not give me my money back. I did not authorize or consent to an auto renewal. Please be aware of this company. I know this is partially my fault for not cancelling before it auto renewed, but I didn't realize it was on an auto renew.

So many different things to try each month!

It's was realy great they have all type of snacks to make anyone happy, i liked few of them and not liked few of them but at the end it was great!

Today i received the first box of my 3 month plan. And Im already convinced i want to keep signing up after ! it’s so colorful and everything is nicely packed. and of course all the delicious treats inside are all amazing and definitely worth the wait.

I signed up for a three-month subscription using a discount code and was pleased with the three themed boxes that I received. I believed that was the end of it and considered it a good option for possible gift-giving in the future. However, without any emailed warning I was then charged full price ($144) for an additional three months. I immediately contacted TokyoTreat to clear up this misunderstanding, since I had only wanted to purchase those initial three boxes, which is what I believed I had subscribed to, but their response was, "Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for payments that have already been processed through our system." They also claimed that they were clear about the nature of their auto-renewal (they were not), and essentially that it was my fault for not cancelling before the renewal (which I had no idea would happen). Now I'm stuck with three more boxes of treats and a deep feeling of resentment toward this company. I feel deceived and regret ever making the initial purchase. I don't recommend TokyoTreat or any of their other subscription boxes, not unless you're fully aware of what you're signing up for.

I love my friends box I've eaten most of the snacks already and I absolutely love the booklet and learning new snacks

Decent amount of items for 50 bucks

This is a great way to try new snacks that the Amazon mystery boxes don’t have! And if you like kitkats, there are always kitkats in the boxes!

4/5 pretty great overall but sometimes items arrive melted due to heat on planes, and it’s 50/50 you get your bonus items last month got one but this month I didn’t; but overall it’s a fun Monthly surprise!

The snacks were great! Box was practically bursting with stuff! The little booklet that comes with it explains everything along with he area. Definitely worth everything. Can't wait until next month
