The package came pretty fast, was delivered home by the local post. The way this month’s box was composed satisified my cravings both for sweet and savoury snacks. A cute booklet with interesting facts about Japan is a great addition.
We are having a blast with our Tokyo Treat. I'm always amazed at how many snacks there are in the box, and we have liked EVERYTHING! It's seriously the most fun!
Very bad experience. TokyoTreat refuses to refund me 841 USD from cancelled subscriptions. Crazy!!! I mean that’s basically stealing! When I ask for a refund the came back to me with “once a payment has been processed through our system, we cannot issue a refund”. Hahaha! Don’t fall for these scammers! They took enough money from me so don’t waste yours too!
Everything shipped, and it was great! There was a small issue with shipping, but it wasn’t TokyoTreat’s fault. It was due to a new import regulation in the US that caused a delay. Despite that, the package still arrived, and everything tasted amazing!

Do not be scammed by this company. I purchased a year subscription for $390 and after I hit the purchase button the total amount changed to $530. There was a hidden shipping fee. I immediately went back and canceled the order with-in 5 minutes. Yet, they started shipping the boxes. It’s been a nightmare trying to reach someone to help. They finally wrote to me and said they will not refund me. I will gladly pay for anything that has already shipped, even though I canceled, but I want a refund to my credit card for the rest. They will only offer a credit voucher. $390 is a lot of money for some snacks but to check out and see $530 appear after the purchase was made is total scam! Do not buy from them if you don’t want to have to deal with the hidden fees and poor customer service.
Japanese food is good i like receiving monthly boxes. Even though there are mail strikes the packages still come

Shouldn’t take 25 minutes to cancel a simple subscription service. Pages are slow and now full of advertisements. Website is not very usable and I think purposely hard to cancel.
I bought the 12 months option and have been giving and plan to keep giving away a box to each of my closes friends and family. Valentines Day is a hard time of the year for me personaly, and hade no one special to give away the heart themed box too, so this one I keept to myself. And it really made my whole month! You can really tell how much love they pour into them! I plan on doing another 12 month after my trial expires. I could not recommend this highly enough. Much love from Sweden TokyoTreat! ❤️
The bad:The box got delayed in customs for nearly 2 months, and the entire time no updates were provided and no effort was made to correct or compensate for the issue which spoiled the fact it was a christmas gift. The good: once it finally arrived, the goodies were a huge hit. Its something i would consider doing again if it werent for the horrible experience just getting it here and the unresponsiveness of tokyo treat customer service. Would i do it again? Im torn and need to really consider it. Maybe theres another company that will provide better customer service

Not only do they provide excellent, high quality snacks, but I love that they provide previews of some of the snack options each month and they allow you to skip months as needed. Over all an excellent subscription service!
If you like japanese snacks you gotta get this box. It has so much variety and the quality is always good, it also comes with cool info about stuff in the box and stuff about japan you probably aren't aware of
The Tokyo Treat boxes delivered what they promised for the duration of our subscription. However, despite only subscribing for 6 months, my subscription was automatically renewed without my consent after the 6 months had passed. I immediately cancelled the subscription before any more boxes had been sent, but the company refused to honor the cancellation and provide me with a refund. Instead, they continued to send me boxes and charge me for them. Incredibly shady business practice and I will not be purchasing from this company again.
Shilling took a while, but it was not their fault due to long customs inspections. When it arrived I received all snacks as promised and they taste amazing!!
