I have used Tick for several years of travel. I have never had to claim fortunately so can’t really comment on their payout but their rates are very good and they seem to cover most things

Well haven't travelled yet But buying the insurance was very easy and a reasonable price
This is usually the cheapest travel insurance option available. Coverage is available for most things offered in expensive travel insurance from big companies.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY TO BUY THIS INSURANCE. IT DOES NOT PAY YOU UNLESS THE DELAY IS OVER 12 HOURS！ WASTE OF MY MONEY AND MY TIME. READ THE CLAUSE WHICH IS A 100 PAGES LONG BEFORE YOU BUY THE INSURANCE. IT DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING.

I had a terrible experience with this company. During my trip, I suffered an accident and needed emergency surgery abroad for a distal radius fracture. The surgery alone cost €4,500, plus other related medical expenses, which I had to pay myself. I purchased a Top One-Trip policy that clearly states it covers unlimited overseas medical expenses. I submitted all the required documents (hospital reports, invoices, claim form), yet I still haven’t been reimbursed. They haven’t said “no” to my claim — but they also haven’t paid or even replied to my follow-up emails. At this point, my next step will be to escalate and lodge a complaint with AFCA. ⚠️ DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. When you really need support, they leave you waiting and unprotected. Update: They have reimbursed the costs of my surgery. But they should have paid it at the time of the surgery. Imagine if you don't have all the money and you need an urgent surgery!

We have used several different travel insurance companies in the past but switched to Tick a few years back after getting a competitive quote for one of our overseas trips. So I checked on their quotes for the next couple of trips and again they offered a great deal more at a better price. About 3 trips back my gallbladder decided to just stop working? I had never needed to use our insurance until then. Wow how they went into action for us. Making sure we had been satisfied with the hospital treatments I was receiving OS and checking on doctors visits and medicines. Fortunately I was only 2 days away from flying home and got home to have surgery here. But they had put in place and emergency evacuation of I felt it was required. So we have used them ever since, knowing that they deliver when needed most. Gives us full piece of mind when ever and where ever we travel. We are doing 4 trips in the next 14 months and we are covered by them for each already. 2 at the Standard, 1 at the Top cover and 1 cruise cover. All were compared with other companies but they still came out on top.

Great service. Have used Tick twice now. Needed to cancel my policy a week out from travel and they were great. Very prompt refund. Have not made a claim but I find them very reasonably priced for the policies.
