Review summary

Tickets Center receives a significant amount of negative feedback, with many reviewers labeling it a scam. Customers express frustration over misleading ticket prices, often noting that they paid exorbitant fees, sometimes up to ten times the face value. Complaints about the inability to cancel purchases, even shortly after completing transactions, are prevalent, with some consumers feeling trapped by draconian policies. Despite these issues, a minority of reviewers mention that the ticket purchasing process is easy, highlighting that they were able to secure tickets without much hassle. However, the overwhelming sentiment is one of dissatisfaction, with many urging potential buyers to avoid the service altogether. Overall, the sentiment is decidedly negative, reflecting a lack of trust in the company's practices.

Bought tickets for Fluffy at Wisconsin…

Bought tickets for Fluffy at Wisconsin state fair grand stands. Called the company stating the tickets only said gen admission to the park and they assured me it would get us into the grandstands Well that didnt happen. We were turned away and told ticket center has scammed alot of people. Almost 500 dollars for general admission to state fair. Most expensive admission in history Im sure. Filed a complaint with BBB and the company lied outright saying they told me it was for general admission admission only. That is not what they told me. They are liars and scammers BEWARE!!!!!!

Was told tickets not available until day before.A rep on online said I would be given refund. Never happened. I then requested a charge back with my bank. It was denied because the company said I was aware of cancellation policy. The day of the event they said they sold my tickets and issued me a partial refund. NEVER GOT TICETS OR MY MONEY BACK.

Draconian rules and they will bleed you …

Draconian rules and they will bleed you for every possible fee and even resell your tickets without actually telling you. (Yes, they took the fees on both transactions) I bought tickets over 3 months ahead of a concert when i saw an ad they sent to my Facebook profile. The price was rather high, but they were the only outlet that had them at that point. They said the tickets would be delivered at least 24 hours before the concert. When I complained about the high price (about 4x the actual cost of the tickets when they came out) they said all sales are final. They still had not delivered the tickets to me 2 months after ordering them. When tried to talk to the overseas chat they basically said 'too bad' we already have your money. I asked to sell the tickets on their site but they said the tickets were not 'authorized' to be sold because I was not a verified ticket vendor. I contacted my credit card and they said they could investigate and see if the tickets (not yet delivered) could be refunded. When I did that, it triggers a clause in their terms and conditions that allows them to then resell the tickets. They got fees from both transactions and gave me a small percentage of the sale price. What a scam. Their main client service basically said, sorry, you should have read each of the 20 pages of the terms and conditions. Awful! And they are part of Vivid Seats which then cancelled othwr tickets i had bought through that site. Use Stubhub.com or SeatGeek.com. these ones are horrible

Junk

I only give them one star because I can’t give zero. Purchased 4 tickets to concert for 753$ , charged my card and only gave me the parking pass. Total scam…say they transferred but nope. I hope they burn in hell.

Unable to cancel within 30 minuets

Unable to cancel within 30 minuets of completion, being in my 80s found it confusing and did not mean to purchase tickets for our group. Ticket center has no heart, they are only interested in how much they can take someone for. Thought I was at Cirque Du Soleil web site, no one at Ticket center was of any help all they could do is quote company policy and not forward me to any other supervisory person....

100% a scam -- STAY AWAY

100% a scam - Stay away. Any positive review you are seeing is a scam. The pay much for to the top of the search engine so you click on them. The tickets I selected (reserved VIP) and the tickets they sent GA (General Admission). Got my bank involved quickly, they need to be delisted, do a chargeback if they scammed you. After so many chargebacks they will lose their credit processing.

Reserch reputable ticket sellers. These people aren't them.

Bought Detroit Tigers tickets from these people, first time I've bought sports tickets in 15 years, and this was an absolutely awful experience. In order to redeem my tickets I HAD to download their app, which woudn't work on my phone, and their website offered no info on what to do. Their customer service email address was immediately bounced back to me as undeliverable. I finally called their phone number, was directed thru several automated menus and was then told to leave a message. Someone did call me back and told me to go to the ticket will-call window at the stadium. That was now my only option. The guy at the will-call window told me that they were full of crap, and that these people aren't associated with them at all. He took pity on me, located my tickets and then texted them directly to me (why couldn't these idiots not done the same thing?). This could have very easily ended poorly. I've learned my lesson - apparently there are tons of ticket scammers out there and these people are one of them.

Do not buy from them

Do not buy from them. I was sent me tickets that were not legit. The same seats for the performance on the same day and time we're still on sale in the box office. This company is a scam and Google still allows them first spot on the first page when you search for tickets!

Tickets center it’s a scam!! Don’t trust them, I bought two tickets six months earlierto see Metallica in Syracuse 2025 but I never got my tickets, they told me to give them a new email and I did that several times but no answers, calling the helpdesk hundreds of times and they told me the ticket was been directed to my email one day before the show, the show happened and I’m still waiting for the tickets. Don’t trust them don’t buy from tickets center! They are SCAMMERS!! nobody ever contacted me back, very sad.

I ordered tickets to park my car

I ordered tickets to park my car. The first one didn’t send a confirmation so I tried again and bought another spot at a more expensive price. I got a confirmation for the second one. I had two order numbers. The second one said I’d be receiving an email with instructions to download my ticket. Those instructions required a physicist to figure them out. They sent me to all these different websites and I was told that I have no tickets. I finally called Ticketmaster and they found the ticket for me. The only problem is is that there was no name of the garage on the ticket and when I went to park my car it wasn’t at that address. I wound up buying another spot spontaneously. I have been trying to reach them. They insist that they sent me a ticket and I insist that they should’ve sent me two. I am getting a runaround from their customer service people and honestly they’re just canned responses. Not to mention the pressure to buy the tickets because they were going fast and I only had like 10 minutes to purchase them. Their customer service rep told me I should have called them right away-while I was sitting in front of the supposed garage- and they would’ve helped me right away. Sure. I’m sitting in the Bronx with my flashers on - picture that while I’m trying to reach them, as I could not reach them at all the night before when I was trying to download my ticket. I asked the Customer Service rep what the name of the garage was and he couldn’t come up with it. 100% scam post this all over social media

Didn't Need to Worry

I found the ticket purchase (for touring Broadway production of Lion King) very easy and was able to choose my section. Then I read some reviews and freaked out, because it looked like I would not receive my tickets until 24 hours before the show, if then. Lots of reviews here indicate that this is a scam site. I was getting ready to buy new tickets, because I wasn't sure these would materialize. Then I got an email from Ticketmaster indicating my tickets were ready to claim. Everything looks good. Price from Tickets Center seems equivalent to price at TicketMaster. I've even logged into Ticketmaster directly from my browser to confirm that I'm at the genuine site. And I'm given the option of transferring or selling my tickets through Ticketmaster. So... don't know whether I'm one of the lucky ones, or whether the bad reviews here are telling less than the full story. I do want to note that it appears Ticketmaster partners with Tickets Center in order to resell tickets. So... thinking that's an indicator of some confidence. Hope your experience is as positive as mine.
