Amazing job! Efficient and it was a challenging task and very happy with the outcome

Excellent customer service.

Company credit is not a reasonable compensation for a tasker leaving your home worse than it was before they got there. There should be a dual protection, where the customer can also get refunded when the tasker does a bad job.

I’ve used TaskRabbit twice recently. Once was to install a IKEA (PAX) closet unit. The installer was knowledgeable about the IKEA wardrobe unit & worked diligently. He had it installed in no time & the cardboard packaging cut down into manageable sizes afterwards for recycling. His attention to detail like where the closet unit would be situated on the wall & where the shelves inside would be placed was impressive. My 2nd TASKRABBIT removed the garburator and changed the pipes back to an “regular sink” in my kitchen. His work was exceptional as it’s not the easiest job to do. Also, my outdoor iron gate had a squeaky/grinding sound whenever it was opened or closed. My partner had some idea how to rectify the issue BUT the TASKRABBIT had just the right thing in his tool box to fix the noise. He applied a silicone into the joist and voila ~ SOLVED !! I’ve since recommended my TaskRabbit to friends !!

Finally an app that lets me find good local helpers. I have used this app three or four times and have managed to solve many small to medium home issues.

The lady I picked to clean Ann Marie was absolutely AWFUL, at the THREE hour mark she still had not completed a small 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment. Worse she lied to me re: her time. It was an expensive rip off and not sure I would use TR again.

I came to TaskRabbit through IKEA. Not wanting to build more Bror shelves, I booked an appointment and confirmed it through the chat. The Tasker did not show up and did not contact me. I had left work to meet the Tasker, so I was very displeased. The TaskRabbit call centre explained that the company has no control over the independent contractors and offered me a credit for future use. The second attempt was also unsuccessful. I booked an appointment, corresponded with the Tasker through the chat, only to learn after I had left work to meet him that he would not be able to come that day after all. He wanted to reschedule but I had no confidence in him based on my experience. The third attempt was successful. The Tasker contacted me in advance, was early for his appointment. He was presentable, professional, and efficient. So in the end it worked out, but the experience is incredibly variable, depending on the individual subcontractor. The prices are unbelievably low -- my job was around $60 for what turned out to be 2.5 hours of work. I have no idea what portion of the fee the Taskers keep and what goes to the platform. We gave him a cash tip to make sure he was paid appropriately and could keep the money. Maybe the Taskers would be more consistent if they were paid more?
