Very bad experience, we cant check in online because their website problem. The staff there didn't help us sovle problems. And I pay extra 100 euros.

Vieleicht sind wir zu blöd oder zu alt aber der Online CheckIn ist unserer Meinung nach total umständlich. Auf jeden Fall hat es nicht funktioniert und wir durften am Flughafen (Berlin) schön die Buchungsgebühr löhnen, weil uns mitgeteilt wurde das wir uns zwar in den Flug eingebucht haben aber nicht eingechekt haben. Positiv war das dies ganz fix ging. Wir haben die Seite aufgerufen und alles ausgefüllt (über Reiseveranstalter) um uns einzuchecken. Bis dahin alles gut. Automatisch bucht man sich auch gleich Sitzplätze dazu wo man schon das erste mal kräftig bezahlen darf. Nach Abschluss kam eine E-Mail mit der Buchungsbestätigung!!! Und einem Button Print your E-Ticket. Wir nahmen an die Bordkarten aber Fehlanzeige, nur die Buchungsbestätigung. Das man den ganzen Vorgang zum CheckIn in einer zweiten E-Mail (alles auf englisch) noch einmal wiederholen muss um sich wirklich einzuchecken ist an uns vorbeigegangen. Fazit: Umständlicher geht es kaum. Am besten am Flughafen einchecken und die 5€ / Pers. bezahlen da hat man dann den ganzen Ärger nicht und wir hätten die 30€/ 3 Pers. für die Sitzplätze gespart. Zweitens war das Flugzeug auch nicht mehr das beste und die Sicherheitserklärungen nur noch in englich (ok, verstehn wir aber leider kaum was) und auf türkisch! Hä? 99% deutsche Familien im Flugzeug und es kommen türkische Ansagen?
Flying with SunExpress was one of the most torturous experiences of my life. The aisle seats were literally IN the aisle of the ragged old repurposed 737 we were rammed into like battery hens. Unlike battery hens, however, SunExpress passengers need a credit card just to get a small bottle of water. Yes, even a basic human right that convicted serial killers enjoy is not provided by these bloodsuckers. The same goes for food, ten euros will buy you an ordinary sandwich. The same goes for air conditioning. Planes used to be super chilled. Not any more (or at least not with SunExpress) - all you get is a crappy fan. Heat plus no water is not a good combination. After 3 hours you'll feel like a slave being smuggled in a ship container. Sleep is also no option. I have no idea how overweight people fit in these tiny seats - I guess they need to buy two overpriced tickets? My behind is still numb 12 hours after landing. The cabin crew babble at the top of their voices about what they got up to at the weekend, and if you sit in the aisle then you have to remain alert to avoid your knee being smashed apart like oatmeal. So all you can do is sit bolt upright, remain vigilant, and read the safety notice on the wall for the 500th time. In flight entertainment is no longer a thing and you'd be a fool to balance an expensive tablet on your lap with all the thugs pushing past you. Thanks SunExpress, you treat your customers with less respect than human traffickers. I'm done with flying, I wouldn't go through that experience again even if paradise was waiting for me at the other side (it isn't).
Check in deskleri çok yetersizdi ve çok uzun kuyruklar oluştu,saatimizi boş yere check in kuyruğunda harcadık,üstelik online check in yapmış sadece bagaj teslim edecektik.Çok bekledik.
I wish the website was more user friendly and not only in German. For the rest it's OK, prices on the official website were lower than on Skyscanner

Sun Express app/website not the easiest to navigate. Plane prices are expensive but as with other airlines, comfortable seating we paid for extra leg room this was very good priced in comparison to other airlines. Check in - uk was good and quick, yet in Turkey 1.5 hours queuing was not acceptable, shouldn’t say check in open if no staff to man it.
Die Internetseite von denen hat nicht funktioniert und ich konnte nicht mein E-ticket nicht laden hab es an verschiedenen Handys probiert und es funktionierte nicht. Und am Flughafen musste ich dann für das einchecken bezahlen....unverschämt

Niet mogelijk stoelen te reserveren. Niemand te bereiken, zowel telefonisch als via whattsapp. Waardeloze bedoeling!!
Never again Turkey . The SunExpress personnel at the airport are extremely rude and expecting to talk Turkish with them eben if they get told many times that we are not able to talk their language. It took us a discussion of over 15 minutes to get out of this situation! These people are just nationalist and racism.
Online eingecheckt und Email darüber erhalten. Da bin ich davon ausgegangen, dass auch alles geklappt hat. Laut Email könnte ich mir mein E-Ticket ausdrucken, ich dachte mir schön und gut, wenn ich bei der Koffer Aufgabe eh meine Tickets bekomme, wofür dann ausdrucken? Dann meinte die Dame am Schalter, dass ich keinen Check In gemacht habe. Ich zeigte ihr die E-Mail aber das hat sie nicht interessiert. So musste ich für vier Reisende unrechtmäßig 20€ bezahlen. Auf meine E-mail hat Sun Express dann doch nach fünf Tagen reagiert und sich für den Vorfall entschuldigt. Man hat mir die 20€ dann letztendlich auch ausbezahlt. Dran bleiben und sich dagegen wehren wenn man sich abgezogen fühlt.
I have travelled with Sun Express a few times and found the flights and staff to be pleasant and on time. However there is always a problem with their free of charge online check in service, it never works and when you get to the airport and check in manually they charge you £20 per head for the privilege. When you explain that their online system doesn't work they don't want to know about it and just smile while they take your money.
The biggest problem with this airline is the online booking. I was booking in 5 people and it would only let me do 3 so I had to do them seperately. Then it stored the information from the previous passport on the next booking. When coming back the information had been stored except that one had stored the DOB of another passenger. The safety message was impossible to hear. The plane was clean and boarding was fine.
Once again very good flight on time and made good progress...cabin crew second to none.only downside on this occasion was the landing came down a little bit harsh on the tarmac...good job the tyres could handle it..otherwise 100% all round
Hinflug NUE-AYT, Sitzplätze im März reserviert (6 Personen)und bezahlt, Flug Anfang Juli...beim online-check-in, ganz andere Plätze bekommen, Anruf bei der Airline...Sitzplätze zum Teil schon vergeben, also andere mit der Mitarbeiterin rausgesucht, online check-in sollte wiederholt werden, diesmal war es nicht möglich. Wieder angerufen und uns wurde gesagt, es wird vermerkt und wir müssen vor Ort nichts bezahlen, dies war auch so, allerdings bekamen wir ganz andere Sitzplätze. Beim Rückflug, vorher im Hotel online check in und einen Sitzplatz bezahlt, da wir wenigstens in der Nähe sitzen wollten, war der online check in nicht vorgemerkt und die Sitzplätze wieder anders, als vorher gebucht. Fazit, wir haben knapp 100€ bezahlt und ich hoffe, die bekommen wir jetzt zurück. 3x Beschwerde ist raus. Solange die Technik nicht funktioniert, nie wieder Sunexpress.
Wir sind mit Sunexpress von Nürnberg nach Antalia geflogen und wieder zurück. Wir haben nichts zu beanstanden. Online Check in hat super geklappt. Boarding war beide male vorbildlich. Der Flug sehr gutbund angenehm. Crew sehr nett und höflich Piloten beide male sehr gut. Beide Flüge über pünktlich. Jederzeit mit der Airline wieder.
Chaos at departure. It was very difficult for the staff to place families correctly. It took a long time and the staff moved many families to place children with their parents. It was not possible to check in online. You also had to pay 20 euros at the counter to check in. Not a company I would recommend.
The SunExpress (iOS) app is extremely bad: It’s not possible to login, boarding passes cannot be found after entering all flight data, entire dialogues just disappear after selecting a drop-down item, etc. In the boarding pass emails, the links to download the boarding pass into the phone wallet lead into nirvana. They call some strange IP, running in a timeout. Like 50% of all the flights of SunExpress (within the last 8 years), also our flight was delayed - by 48 minutes.
Skide dårlig og skræmmene tur! Jeg var ude og flyve med SunExpress fra København til Izmir. Og hold kæft en oplevelse. Min sikkerhedssele var simpelthen ødelagt, den kunne åbenbart ikke fikses, så mederarbejderne på flyveren sagde at jeg bare må holde fast. Undskyld mig, skal jeg bare holde fast, kan jeg det i en nødssituation? Sædets armlæn var simpelthen også ødelagt. Der var revner på væggene i flyvemaskinen, og lyset virkede ikke hele flyve turen. Når jeg betaler 34000kr for flyvebilletter i sig selv, så forventer jeg også at det er en nogle lunde god oplevelse. Men SIKKERHEDEN er det vigtigste, som det tydeligvis ikke var i flyvemaskinen. Det er ikke sikkert at flyve i et fly med sådan nogle problemer. Undgå SunExpress!! Terribly bad and frightening trip! Terribly bad and frightening trip! My seatbelt was completely broken, apparently it couldn’t be fixed, so the staff on the plane told me to just hold on tight. Excuse me, just hold on? How can I do that in an emergency? The seat’s armrest was also completely broken. There were cracks in the walls of the aircraft, and the lights didn’t work during the entire flight. When you pay 34,000 DKK for flight tickets, you expect at least a somewhat decent experience. But SAFETY is the most important thing, which clearly wasn’t the case with this aircraft. It is not safe to fly in a plane with such problems. Avoid SunExpress!!
