I am very disappointed with Spa Finder

I am very disappointed with Spa Finder, with their service, their price etc. I prefer to find a much better option for my clients. There are many spa locations that will not advertise with Spa Finder.

Avoid this gift card scam

right off the bat the website is glitchy at best. Evert time I type my location it will default to the same spas no matter how fare from me. my location is in a major city, so there "should" be tons of options. Amazingly I takes me to the same spas. This also happens when I list a different city like Washington DC. you guessed it, it reverts back to the same spas. Avoid this gift card scam, that simply counts on you getting frustrated and giving up, allowing them to collect some effortless cash. ALSO, if you read the customer comments and the Spa Finder response, it is a cut and past with 'updates' the same day. This I garbage.

Good experience

I initially had issues with my gift card. Spafinder's response was quick, they kept in contact with me, and it was resolved. Very satisfied with this company. Will purchase from them again. Thank you.

Inaccurate vendor information, card not accepted, unresponsive customer service

Very frustrating experience. I received a spafinder gift card and finally tried to use it after finding a local massage parlor on their website that said it accepted one time use cards. After receiving the service I went to pay with my card and the vendor could not get her card reader to accept the gift card. She offered no other solutions and seemed to have no way to rectify this with spafinder, so I had to pay for the massage out of pocket (the only reason I booked this massage was to USE this gift card). I sent a message complaint through the spafinder website the day of the service which says you will receive a response within 3 days. It has now been over a week with no response. I tried the online chat and no one answers. I called and cannot get ahold of anyone. Is this a real company? What a joke.

I placed an order for (3) $250 egift…

I placed an order for (3) $250 egift cards on 11/29 and within a couple hours I received a link for the 3 egift cards. Two of the links worked, but one of them returned an error 400 on the destination website, and I tried multiple computers, browsers and my phone with different internet providers and they all had the same issue. I examined the links manually, and saw nothing incorrect that I could distinguish (I've had some companies forget a . or other obvious character in the links before). I contacted Spafinder multiple times in the last day and the clueless customer service constantly resends the same links in the email, after I clearly explained it was not an issue on my side. I am on hold for the 4th time with customer service as my wife was going to the tomorrow. If they do the same thing again, I'll be filing a chargeback for $250. I know everywhere they need to cut costs wherever they can, but poor customer service will eventually catch up to them and be the nail in the coffin for the business. 12/3 Update: I responded to Spafinder with additional info, and have not heard anything more. The last attempt with customer support resulted again in being resent the same invalid link. Two of them have been used, if this does not get resolved by 12/5, I will be initiating a credit chargeback for the appropriate amount of the 3rd gift card. Update 12/9/2024: I have received MULTIPLE emails from BHN Customer service and have replied at least 3 times. They kept sending the same request for my contact info, and it was provided each time. Now I got an email today stating they are closing my case since I never responded. Why is this so difficult? I cannot believe even the escalation team is inept? Do they check spam filters?

Dishonest disreputable company

Do not waste your time and money. I wanted to buy a gift card to use at a provider in my area that stated accepted spa finder gift cards. But spafinder website did not list the provider. I called customer service no listed on spafinder website & asked if spa was participating provider. First cust serv rep put me on hold for 30 min & then disconnected me. Second cust serv rep could not answer me; said supervisor would call me. Sup did return call and verified that provider was not participant. Waste of 1 hr. This co would not provide any help if there is a problem with gift card.

Spafinder Card Unusable

1. Sent e mail to customer service when card balance would not show amount, no response. 2. Called customer service, told only use one card at a time, split cards not allowed. 3. Transferred to another agent to convert card to use, dropped call. 4. Retried checkout, error given , invalid card. Do Not Recommend!!!!!!! Moving forward to November 23, 2024. After several e mails from customer service I have again made several attempts to use my two $50.00 gift cards ending with the same result. My time once again wasted and no product. Spa Finder Customer Service - Not Good

Spa Finder customer service is well below MARGINAL. Website is incomplete to determine gift card remaining balances and it is difficult to impossible to get through to someone for help or even to place another order.

I have a paper spafinder gift…

I have a paper spafinder gift certificate. I'm unable to use. I've tried to reach customer service and nobody has gotten back to me as to how I can redeem this gift certificate. This isn't the first time I've had problems with spafinder.com gift cards or gift certificates. IMHO I'd avoid these at all costs. At one point in time I went to use one at pilates studio they said I couldn't use one as I had already done so previously. Another time I tried to use one a nail salon and they said they couldn't take it on a package ie: manicure+pedicure. Gift cards and gift certificates are like cash why there would be a restriction isn't acceptable. Why did I have so many...I believe when they were purchased it was either at Costco or the spafinder website having a promotion. After sending five messages /emails to spafinder without recourse, I'm going to contact CA consumer affairs and file a complaint. 9/23/2024 spafinder requested addl information , 3 days to reply, I'm in animal rescue-basically a 24/7 365 day unpaid job without pay. 3 days, I can barely reply to my family in that time. I just tried the phone number they posted to this forum at 4pm pst, the recorded message states they are closed. I will try again tomorrow, providing I don't have an emergency. 9/24/24 Called the number 1- (469) 312-0084 was told they couldn't help me. Needed to reach the brand. I'm sorry this is such a run around. spafinder posted : "Dear MS, we're sorry we couldn't contact you. We sent you an email from xxxtrustpilot.com asking for your contact information to assist you further, however, we did not receive any response. However, if you still need assistance, please call us at 1- (469) 312-0084; our team will help you. Jose G. Spafinder.com" I CALLED that number ZERO help. DO NOT BUY A SPA finder gift certificate or card.
