Polite,fast and efficient
Arrived on time, friendly, left site clean & explained how everything worked.
24 February 2023 Adam was very friendly and knew his product, talked us through all aspects, from the installation to the break down of savings we could expect. The installers were very polite and efficient and cleaned up before they left, we had no issues what so ever and have no hesitation in recommending Smart Energy to anyone considering solar energy.
From the initial meeting with Nathan over the phone to the installer Daniel arriving on time all were very professional, polite and was handled really well. From the beginning Nathan was friendly, knew what he was talking about and answered all my endless questions following up straight away and getting back to me. I have not hesitated in recommending Smart Energy to my next door neighbour. Thank you again for an overall amazing experience.
Young lady who first approached us was knowledgable. Had all information requested at hand, was able to calculate readilly the information we requested. We had been considering the change but no one else was able to supply the requested information .
The installation was completed quickly and the installers were very professional in their work making sure everything was in place to suit the house design.
From the first call from Smart Energy by young Reilly and then manager Adam. Then their proposal and follow up was second to none. Thank you Smart Energy our energy savings are now being realised.
The staff from Smart Energy, were so prompt and friendly, did a fantastic job on the solar panels. Nothing seemed to be any trouble for them. When Eli came to see us about the solar panels he was very professional and explained every detail that was important for us to know. The guys that came to connect were excellent as well. I would recommend Eli to anyone who is wanting to get Solar. Very impressed how the installers conducted their work.
The setup process took place smoothly enough but the internet interface was totally confusing for an old man like me. I would have appreciated a lot more help with that. I also felt that the electricity company (Aurora) was less than helpful but that is not the fault of Smart Energy. Only the future will tell how well the system works in my favour now that it has been fully installed.
These might be a good company in Australia but in England they suck. They took our deposit in June 2022 and we still do not even have a date for when they are going to fit the solar panels we have ordered. Their communication is awful and we feel like we have been scammed by them. Do not give them your money.
To date I have been waiting over a year, (Jan 2022), since installation, for a N.I.C.C Certificate (Electrical Compliance and safety). The handover pack was so late in arriving, I have missed the ability to extend the warranty on the Inverter. The installation resulted in 27 rents in the roof membrane the largest of which required the threat of legal action to get paid for. On a plus side, the equipment supplied by "Givenergy" is outstanding. I cannot recommend this company. AVOID.
Beth was unreal and easy to deal with she gave us so much insight into everything!! She is very polite and has awesome customer skills.
Our experience with smart energy had been a somewhat checkered journey having taken almost a year to complete, but this was due to the infancy of the company and many lessons learnt, with staff still learning. However, If you have a lady call Bethany Andrews you stand a chance, because it was only after eleven months when Bethany joined the company that things started to happen and she seems to have a better grasp on the value of "communication", within six weeks it was fitted, checked, completed and production of power started. So all's good, and would I use this company again? Yes.
Best customer service. They were great to work with easy to contact. Job was fully completed with in few days. Thank you so much we love our new solar system. Easy hassle free and absolutely amazing customer service thank you again Jonathan and team. 5 ⭐️
Very helpful and informative sales people. Very clear on what to expect and how much it will cost. Work was carried out with a minimum of fuss and mess.
I was impressed by the team at Smart Energy by their promtnis and they always turned up when they say they will from the first contact with the young lady at thee door to the manager that came out and did the deal was very pleasing and relaxing nothing was to much trouble for them and i was left feeling satisfied that i was making the right move, i have also reccommended them to others.
So, here we are a month on from my first Review on 11 January 23. As requested by Smart Energy in their response on 13 January, I contacted them and identified myself fully. It took a few minutes searching to find that I was a legitimate customer … apparently I was one of five with the same name and my account was “hidden” behind the others. This I found interesting as I’m led to believe that Smart should be monitoring the performance of the solar battery 24/7. I was also informed that the reason for the poor service was that my contact had, unbeknown to the company, been very ill and was no longer in their employ. No record of my documentation as supplied was found nor could access be made to the former employee’s emails. (Are you serious??) I was asked to explain my calculations on the financial loss and to re-supply the documentation. I chose not to resupply the documentation as that had been sent to my initial contact who, it appeared, was still employed. On numerous occasions when questioned, I denied that I wanted financial recompense … only a working solar battery that provided the promised outcomes following installation. In the end, it was agreed that a maintenance inspection would be conducted. To be fair, I was told that this would take time to arrange. However, one month later, this has not occurred and I have received no further communication from the company nor been issued any update/s. I am more than happy to issue a positive update and Review for Smart Energy, but as of the time of writing, for obvious reasons, my original Review of 11 January stands. UPDATE The reply from Smart Energy below was submitted more than a week after phone dialogue between Blaire and myself when he advised he had attempted to contact me “more then twenty times.” During our two phone calls, he was again insulting towards me in his comments and I informed him that i would end the second call and the reasons why. I followed this up with an email questioning why, after apparently trying to contact me by phone so many times, he had not thought to send an SMS or email me using the email address already on hand. I also advised him that any further communication between us would be by email only. The final upshot was that I informed him that I believed it best for us to go our separate ways and agree to disagree on this whole matter. I will not be contacting Blaire again.
Pre my dealings with Smart Energy, and in particular Beth Jones, I had many calls from solar providers. Unfortunately, most seem to have serious problems in answering any questions about their product and indeed the individuals command of the English language was seriously floored. My first contact with Beth was by phone. She had a better than average knowledge of the product, was particularly patient and clearly explained to me, how the whole system worked and the benefits it would provide. Many times I called her for further q & a's which she answered promptly and with great clarity. Beths positiveness in her advice on the economic benefits of my purchasing the system has been born out in the reduction of bills from my electrical supplier. At the time our discussion were in progress, my current a/c was approx $350/qtr. As of a payment this date it was $76.23! Even with some reductions in rebates and increases in cost to supply. My dealings with Beth have given me great confidence in the product that she advised me to consider installing. In many ways my confidence in the product was really enhanced because of Beth's honesty, product knowledge, patience combined with a "no push' approach. These qualities can be rare with a lot of "cold callers". In conclusion, contact from Beth and reps from Smart Energy has been an ongoing business, to check and see how things are with my system. Follow up of this nature reinforces my confidence in the Company and the quality of the sales team, and in particular, my dealings with Beth. Management might like to give her a chocolate frog from me.
Good salesmanship talked me out of a competitors larger,cheaper system. Installation was quick,clean and efficient. Looking forward to enjoying cheaper power bills
System was installed on the due date with very little fuss and is working well. No rubbish left behind.
