On Oct 22, 2024 SkyLux scheduled my trip to Italy Reservation NLBFZD with Iberia Airlines. I paid $5054.42 for the flight, $919.58 for their Commission, $597.40 for Travel Insurance. On Oct 23, 2024 my bank denied payment to Iberia Airlines for security reasons. On Nov 7, 2024, Skylux rescheduled my trip on Finlandia, Reservation MG8WTV and received payment for the flight. The travel agent (Sylvester)informed me the previously paid commission, and travel insurance were transferred to the new reservation. In Mar 2025 my wife was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and I notified Skylux that I have to cancel my trip. Documentation regarding her medical condition was requested and submitted. Several days later I received an email from an agent Haddid stating I have no travel insurance. Since Mar 2025 I have made numerous requests regarding this matter to no avail. I paid for travel insurance for a reservation that was changed by Skylux and through their error I have lost all monies.

Duke has helped me find good flights understanding my requirements and constraints. He is very good in communication. Always get responses asap even if it off hrs. He always took extra effort to make my booking experiences to be seamless. I really appreciate is effort and will defined recommend to my friends who wants have seamless experience in booking their travel.

In short, the sales agent promised she had reserved us specific seats for two long (11 hours) legs of a 4-leg trip. But she did not. Their answer: The price they quoted me did not include the hefty ($81 per person per leg) seat selection fee which I should arrange by myself, after ticketing, using 2 different airline websites. My experience: I called to find out why the seats were missing from my tickets, and was sent to hold for 30 minute waits 3 times. On the fourth call, I was finally connected to an agent, after I told the person who directs your call that I was cancelling my ticket and reporting the agency to the BBB. That customer service agent agreed to open an investigation of my problem. Back and forth, back and forth by email for two weeks waiting for this "investigation" and when I threatened to dispute the charge with VISA, the company finally began to address the problem--I had not been assigned any seats. Obviously by this time the promised seats were not available. Skylux put us in the middle of the middle section for an 11 hour flight, and I insisted on two non-adjacent seats that at least partially met our request. Skylux paid the seat selection fees. I shudder to think what would happen if we had a mid-travel issue that required SkyLux's help. On hold, gas lighting, denials, referral to another division and weeks to resolve a problem. Skylux sales people called, texted and emailed me multiple times a day before I bought my tickets, and afterwards, dismal attention with no sense of urgency. There are so many business class consolidators. I will make another choice next time.

Julia was relentless in finding a deal I've been working hard to find some reasonable flights. It was a real challenge as I tried to book on some other sites and when I clicked confirm I kept getting the offer is no longer available. Julia was there when I needed her and super responsive.
