I had the worse car rental i have ever had with Routes. I bought full coverage with priceline and my personal insurance also covers my rental so I had more than enough insurance. When I went to pick up my vehicle at 9pm when my flight came in we waited far to long to be picked up and when we arrived we were told we had to buy the insurance they sell. I argued that this is not true as I have rented cars in Denver for years. I was then threatened I was not going to get a car unless I signed. He then went on to tell me I have to have road side assistance. I told him I would sign because I did not want to sleep in The parking lots and the I would contact the main office. We got the vehicle and headed out. After we arrived at our hotel many miles away I noticed the tires had almost no tread. Mind you this is fall and a mountain state. I placed a penny in the tread and took a photo of thr tread coming in below the president's head and that makes the illegal on the road. I then looked at the spare and it had a big plug in it. Not safe tires for the mountains. I have received an email back from Routes today and they basically said you signed the agreement and will do nothing. I would never use them again. I my opinion this is bad business. Please read all the reviews on This company. To top it all off we waited an hour for a shuttle back to the airport. Update, after reviewing my bill deeper i was double charged for the 3 main fees Colorado has with no chance of getting that back. I see they responded with the fluff they want you to hear. After basicly being told they will do nothing no make it right I stand by my warning to others and Read reviews not only here but in other platforms as well. You will be shocked at the amount of people this has happen to.
Ripoff They took £1,100 from my account first claiming it was a deposit and would be returned then when you question them why they haven't returned the deposit they point you to the small print and claim its charges for 3rd party liability. Stay away from this ripoff car rental company. Typical automated reply contact customer care. I already have on numerous occasions.

The customer service when I arrived was exactly what I needed after a lot of travel. I was assisted by a lovely woman named Kesha. She was so helpful on all fronts! Additionally, upon my return I was helped by a gentleman named Vince and he was spectacular as I was running late and had to get in and get out. I made my flight and vowed to Always go with Routes on future trips!
I rented a car from Routes via their official website, expecting a smooth experience. The pickup time was 3:00 p.m., and I arrived early at 2:40 p.m., thinking it would only take a few minutes to get the car since it was pre-booked and paid for. I planned to pick up my daughter from school at 3:30 p.m., only 15 minutes away. However, the experience was far from smooth. There was a huge line, and someone finally attended to me at 3:10 p.m. I politely mentioned that I needed to pick up my daughter by 3:30 p.m. The representative said it would take a long time, which was surprising. I was also told that as a local renter, I needed to provide a pink slip, something not mentioned anywhere during the booking process. If I had known this in advance, I would have brought it with me. I paid $20 for the commute to the location and couldn't go back home to get the pink slip. I asked why this was the case, but she simply said it was company policy without further explanation. After downloading the pink slip, I thought the process would move along, but there were more delays. Even after giving me the car at 3:45 p.m., I wasn’t allowed to leave immediately because they were still searching for the car’s registration papers. This added another 15 minutes to the delay. The entire experience was frustrating and disorganized. If extra time is necessary for such procedures, customers should be informed in advance or told to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier. This would help avoid inconvenience. Additionally, the company should be upfront about their policies on the website, such as the pink slip requirement for local renters, so that customers can prepare accordingly. Overall, this experience was far below my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend the service based on this ordeal.

We are so grateful for awesome customer service from Himmat Gill. He went above and beyond to assist us in renting a car. I was travelling from West Cost of US to Canada with my 83 years old mother-in-law. After the long day of flying and walking, I found that my sim-card didn't work, no internet connection. I was still talking to phone's co rep while we were finally arriving to Routes near Toronto (Pearson) Airport. And from this very moment when Routes employee Himmat Gill began to work with us, everything started to get better! He was awesome: gave me a hot spot, helped me with all necessary documents, provided information, water, gave me some very useful tips, helped with our luggage, and even connected my phone to the car. It's priceless. And even that it's not all. I parked the car on drop off lot 5 days later when other car just stopped by and it was Himmat who asked me how was my trip, and if everything was ok. He helped me again with dropping the car, and making sure that I've got everything what I need. Thank you so much!
Great experience. Rented a car from Calgary Airport. Shuttle service in time, friendly staff at the office. Carol helped us with the rent and also with the check-out. Overall highly recommend.
Straight GARBAGE Routes Tampa Airport. Advertised price Corolla 2 days 86.00. Get there and she asked for proof of insurance. No problem I drive as a sales director many miles every year so O have the ultimate coverage. Says she needs to see my insurance declaration. In thirty two years of renting cars have never been asked that question. I pull it up and conveniently..” We don’t accept that insurance “ that will be another $200.00 They got the wrong one today! Got an Uber and made the 40 minute trip and SAVED money. This place should be CLOSED. The “soul plane “ of rental car companies. Customer complaints while I waited. One customer car had no air conditioning and car fuel gauge registered EMPTY…. Response of employee you can bring it back empty. RIDICULOUS.🙄 You are better off WALKING…

We cancelled booking a week out, no refund was given. The phone number rings out, no answer for days & days, have read previous reviews that this seems to be the given with this company. GO ELSEWHERE

Read before you rent! I had a confirmation for $59.42 and ended up paying $299.11. I landed after 11pm and waited almost 30 mins for the shuttle after I called for it. They force you into buying their insurance unless you have a copy of your insurance declaration page with you. They added $149.95 to the bill. There was a $72.26 Vehicle Licensing Fee. Don't have a clue what that was for. We had to wait at their off-airport location for almost 30 mins to get the shuttle to the airport. The Jeep we rented they said was brand new. It was not it had over $19k miles on it. It was still decent enough. Overall, I would not rent from them again.
