Impossible to get hold of someone that knows what they're talking about

UK call center yes, but every call reaches 'reception' who have no visibility to your account, nor any technical or customer services capability. They promise to call back, never do. They promise to reply to emails, takes days. Router came misconfigured and locked so even when I connected to it via ethernet I was unable to manually setup the PPPoE settings. Waste of time, avoid. EDIT: I have shared my details with you, feel free to call and I'd gladly give my direct feedback as I've been trying to do for the last few days.

Connection mostly good and staff helpful

Line did go down for a few days and they did everything they could to help asap, Kevin was very helpful and we got credit back for the next month due to the inconvenience.

Patient and effective

Rebel persevered through a long, arduous process getting Openreach to install FTTP. Openreach would not allow me to initiate contact to arrange an appointment which is mind-numbingly short-sighted and unhelpful being a teacher that cannot take calls during the day. I can't imagine the mess I would be in with the undeserving, greedy broadband companies like Virgin Media, EE, Vodafone, BT, and their labyrinthian, unfair contract terms and predatory 'customer service'.

Great product with no issues . The only broadband service that offers a monthly rolling contract. Call answers quickly, unlike the big boys . Excellent Customer service . I highly recommend them

Pierre: The Hero of Rebel Internet!

Rebel Internet has truly exceeded my expectations from day one. When I moved to North Wales for university, I was concerned about the internet speed available in the area. Unlike Sky and Virgin, Rebel Internet offered full fiber, which was a significant factor in my decision to choose them. From the beginning, the team was proactive in ensuring my installation with Openreach was prioritized. As many may know, Openreach can be inconsistent, and my situation was complicated by the need for access to a neighboring property. While larger providers would likely have given up, my customer success manager, Pierre, went above and beyond, tirelessly following up to resolve the issues. After weeks of waiting, I’m thrilled to say that my installation was completed today, thanks to Pierre's commitment and persistence. I wholeheartedly recommend Rebel Internet. They truly stand by their word and provide exceptional service. Pierre deserves recognition for his hard work—he's a standout asset to the team!

The customer service team are very…

The customer service team are very good, very frienly and very quick to respond but the product is rubbish. We were promised 64mbps had our wifi installed and only got 13mbps and horribly low speeds so we complained and they sent another engineer who sorted the issue but made it clear it would happen again. Low and behold we max out at 30mbps but are still charged the full rate for half the promised speeds and the wifi drops randomly whenever it wants. Currently when writing it has been down for 2 hours. Doesnt feel worth it. Edited to add as I was asked by rebel to amend my review after the issue was dealt with. I was told that the inital offer that I was given of 64mbps was from comparison site and even though that was the offer i accepted rebel themselves didnt offer the deal which seems a bit like a scam. After the first issue an engineer was sent to the house and he said there was an issue with the cabinet that he didnt think it would be possible to fix unless we got fibre optics but i dont know if this was passed over to rebel since i had to bring it up to customer services to even see if it was an option. They also told me multiple times that they would turn off the safe search after i asked but i had to send another email 2 days after to actually have that done. They told me multiple times that engineers would be sent to deal with the issues at a cabinet level so we wouldnt need to be home so i was also very surprised when a surly engineer came into my house to check the wifi after it went down again. I was more surprised when, after they left having "fixed" the problem, it went down at both 8 pm and then again at 10 pm. After this we had another agent come out he phoned to see if i was free that day so i said yes. He came to the house at 10 and left his things, said he had to check something and would be right back. 3 hours later he returned. Since then the wifi has cut out multiple times on all devices, sometimes just on some devices, and usually multiple times a day. Since the start of this month (11 days ago) i have used up 3 GB of my phone data as the wifi doesn't connect at home to the point i cant even use whatsapp. The problem has apparently been upscaled to openreach but i dont see it having an outcome beyond me leaving this company which i kind of saw coming since they were bribing people to join with amazon gift cards. Even as i write this i am home alone in my house with only this device active (since my xbox disconnected midgame) and still no wifi I was given 2 seperant months of free WiFi to compensate for the issues which was nice but useless when the wifi doesnt connect with internet.

Excellent service and customer support

I'm really impressed with Rebel Internet's customer service. Kevin and the support team were always available to call back and discuss any issues I had throughout the process. I'll be honest - we had some initial challenges with scheduling and rescheduling appointments, and there were complications with my fibre installation due to scaffolding at my property and landlord approvals needed. At times it felt like it might never happen! But what really stood out was the clear communication from the support team every step of the way. Kevin kept me informed about what was happening with Openreach and helped coordinate with my landlord's requirements. When we finally got everything sorted and the installation was successful, I was relieved to have such dedicated support throughout the process. I honestly thought a fibre installation would never work at my property given all the complications, but Kevin made it happen. The persistence and professional approach from the Rebel team really made the difference. Yes, it's more expensive than the competition, but if you're like me and rely on a good service and need support, it's well worth it. Great customer service, responsive support, and they deliver on their promises. Highly recommended for anyone looking to escape Big Broadband!

Happy Customer

Been with rebel for about a week before I decided to leave this review as i figured it a good idea to test the service a bit before reviewing. So far, amazing. No buffering videos, quick send time for messaging etc, signal is always strong and reliable so far. installation time was a few weeks which was frustrating but I have to award 5 stars based on their service rep, Ayanna, who helped make the process so much more pleasant. I was incredibly grateful to have her support during install process. Truly outstanding customer service and the wifi is solid. No complaints, I’m a happy customer

1st Rate Customer Service

We were looking to change broadband providers and considered Rebel. We had a few questions about service, Wi-Fi extenders, Superpods, mesh systems etc and also wanted clarity on the contract deals Rebel were offering. Their customer service response were absolutely 1st Rate. I must have sent 4-5 emails with varying queries and every one was answered quickly and thoroughly. Our current provider then offered us a deal to stay so we didn’t move to Rebel. I base my review on the fact that we weren’t even a customer of Rebel yet we still received quality responses - for me this is a good indicator of how good their customer service is!

Great so far

Apart from disappointing 3 week wait for installation, the service so far has been excellent. Communications have been spot on and the equipment provided seems robust. Speeds and reliability as expected. The best thing - I LOVE the one month contract which keeps Rebel on their toes, allowing me flexibility and the opportunity to move on if service level falters.
