I have been using PSA Financial…

I have been using PSA Financial Services Limited for two years now following a recommendation to seek advice on ameliorating all of my work pensions. Raividas Jay has met with me to undertake a review of my pension plans and the trends for each year as my financial circumstances might change occasionally. The meetings are informal and are geared towards securing the best outcome for me rather than anyone else so is truly independent of other interests which is great. I would highly recommend them as a company and for the support their staff provide.

Awful company

Awful company - avoid!!! I returned a car at the end of the lease and they tried to charge me for damage and missing service documents. However the documents were all there and the damage wasn’t... long story short I contacted the financial ombundsman who ruled in my favour on most areas. They said PSA would be in contact with a new arrears figure... they never got in touch but today I had been passed to litigation! Clearly I am meant to be a mind reader!! Poor customer service throughout. Avoid at all costs.

Disgraceful company to deal with.

I contacted PSA (Free2move) in March 2020 to see if there was anything that could be done regarding my payments on my car during the ongoing Covid 19 problem, as I'm self employed and unable to work. It took several emails and quite a few online chats to try and sort something out with them. 10 weeks later and still no reply from anyone, I checked my payment schedule through their site and I see that they have reduced my payments (not cancelled) for the upcoming 3 months and extended the term by 3 months, and then decided to charge me over £1000 for the privilege. They have still not contacted me regarding the change of payments and I have not authorised any change of direct debit or agreed to any change outside of my contract. Unless someone bothers to contact me and explain why they need to charge me over £1000 for something that I have not agreed to I will be cancelling all payments to them. If anyone reading this review has also asked them for a help, please be careful that you have not also been charged extra and had your term extended without your permission.

I’ve never felt such frustration.

I’ve never felt such frustration dealing with a company. I very recently had an ongoing case regarding owing PSA £100 when I returned my car in October 2019 due to not returning a space key (which I didn’t have in the first place). I went back and forth with PSA and the dealership Citroen because I believe my documents had been fiddled with (I have proof) Every company were ignoring me including the Ombudsman and then I received a letter to say if I don’t pay the £100 within 7 days of receiving the letter then an external debt collector would deal with it. However I didn’t receive the letter until a later date (During COVID19) and the 7 days was up but I have now stupidly given in and paid the £100 via online purely for the fact I just couldn’t deal with the stress anymore and never intended it to get this far as well as the fact no one would help me. I then get an email from DRS to say I owe them £1616 WHERE ON EARTH THAT FIGURE HAS CAME FROM I HAVE NO IDEA. Even if fee charges were incurred then they never made me aware or any and surely shouldn’t be that high? I emailed PSA to tell them what’s gone on, they ignored everything I said and just told me that DRS we’re dealing with it, rang DRS as soon as I got the email, my case was closed last week? It’s actually ridiculous how much miscommunication there is and how awful I’ve been treated as a customer.

Seriously what a dreadful company

I am writing this review on behalf of my wife Angela Briggs. We bought a Peugeot car on Finance through PSA over 3 years and all was well regular payments were taken on 1st of the month as per the agreement, we decided to overpay to reduce the 36 months, PSA decided that as we had overpaid £1,500 that they didn't have to take the regular payment each month so they took the £299.01 from the £1,500 which was not what we wanted, eventually after numerous emails they reduced the total amount owed. On the 1st May 2020 our regular direct debit payment was not taken by PSA, why? We have no idea at all, money was there in the account, no request from us was made to not take our regular payment, god knows, 2 emails later i am still awaiting a reply as to why our regular monthly payment was not taken. Borrowing money should not and normally is not this complicated. This company are a total joke, never again would i buy any car from a company that use PSA, good luck to anyone that doesn't read reviews on PSA first.

WORST COMPANY!! AVOID!!!

WORST COMPANY! AVOID!!!! Before purchasing any car ask who the finance company is. If the company is PSA finance run! DODGY COMPANY! BAD Dealings with their customers! Unhelpful! Money Hungry! They do not care about their consumers and their cars are usually faulty! If the car is faulty they will NOT give you a refund and it will be hell to resolve the issue!

No compassion for corona virus situation...

Called up the company as I have 2 cars via their finance agreements and Arnold Clark garages in Scotland. I currently have two cars sat in my driveway that are probably not needed for the next couple of months. I called to ask what procedures they have in place to help people who find themselves in a difficult situation (I'm a self employed business consultant and lost 3 contracts overnight due to the lockdown) I was basically told you have 3 options: 1) Take the cars back to the garage and see if they will sell you a cheaper version!!!!! 2) Give the car back, it will be sold, there is likely to be a loss on the value of the car that you will need to pay back and you will have a default on your credit file 3) keep the cars and make your payments. What would have been nice was something like "we will suspend the payments for 3 months and extend the term of the contract by 3 months" nobody loses out, same amount of money paid, and only a 3 month delay to the contract.......no what a nice solution that would have been. I will remember how I was treated and will never use the service again. At the end of my current contracts I will never use PSA, Arnold Clark and unfortunately Citreon as they are associated. Such a shame, so easy to fix.
