My Den Insulated Composite Garden Office 10ft x 8ft
The delivery was bang on time, but the parts are heavy, and it really was a 'kerb side' delivery, with only one driver, who was helpful in passing things out of the van, but drew the line at helping to remove things.
Luckily for me a neighbour came and helped me, otherwise I may not have actually managed. So it is really essential to have help to unload when the building comes.
The quality of the components was very good. I had builders erect it for me - I'm getting a bit too old for major DIY projects - and they remarked how well it came together. Parts generally fitted well and in a straightforward manner, with very little that caused any problem, and any construction problems were very minor.
The instructions - all 100 pages of them - were very clear. They do not provide paper instructions, so a printer to print out the pdf's pages is a good idea.
The builders managed to build it all in one day, but it took longer than we all anticipated.
There was one major problem, which needed Project Timber's help. This was an incorrect double glazing unit, they sent the wrong one, so it didn't fit the window frame. An easy mistake to make, but a little annoying nonetheless.
Project Timber were very helpful with this, I was helped by Nichole, who sourced the correct part for me quite quickly.
This was packed up and sent to me via a courier. Unfortunately however the courier lost it - although quite how they could lose a large and very heavy double glazing unit beggars belief.
However, as soon as Nichole was informed of a 'no-show,' she checked with the courier, and upon discovering the situation, she arranged a driver to come and personally bring me the replacement glass.
This was a round trip of over 300 miles for the driver, who was the same driver who brought the original office parts. The window arrived at around 9pm this evening, but it's here, and now the office can be completed.
I now have a lovely building, with just the missing glass to put in, and then it needs to be electrified so I can use it.
I found Project Timber efficient to deal with, with pretty good communication and Nichole was a great help in sorting out the missing glass. And the product is well made.
You really do need help, both to unload and to assemble the building, but I would certainly buy from them again.
I would almost give them 5 stars, but not quite due to the mix up in the original glass panel, but they deserve at least a 4.5 star for sure.
