Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.
My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon.
This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY.
If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD.
On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.
Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK.
The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.
I visited the Withington Post Office, 15 Egerton Cresent M20 4PL at 17.00 on 21/01/2025. I was there to pick up a parcel from DPD and deposit a parcel. Unfortunately the service I expected was hopeless! There was one female customer lady infront of me awaiting service. I could see three people behind counters busy counting stuff and we, the customers were ignored. They probably wanting a quick getway at close time at 17.30! and seemed counting money with their heads down. Seems they do not care! I waited patiently to be called . No reponse. I shouted 'anyone free to serve?' No response .A person behind counter looked up and gave a stare! But what a stare! Another five minutes before a counter staff announced 'next please'! Really a shocking service from the Post Office. Not welcomed at all! Being waited for ages when I think internal work should wait before serving customers.I have worked in retail and this is not what good service looks like. They are Awful to watch at Withington Post Office when they ignore you! really Bad! Post Office -sort these lot out please!
Went to the PO to return a parcel. The parcel had the return label on it. It was not stuck in , so as I handed it over, I said to the young man at the Dovehouse PO Solihull, let me stick it properly.He said , he would do it. I took receipt and left
The same parcel was delivered to me the next morning minus the label
It took me 2 journeys, to finally get another label and send it off. No manager to complain to , as he’s on leave for 2 weeks! No one seemed to care. When I finally met the young man , and asked , why ? His reply was , sometimes the label comes off?
Why is correctvtraining not given for long enough to , so the service is professional.
3rd time in last 2 weeks that book delivery has been left at student halls down the road instead of my address, just laziness by driver who just dumps everything there instead of address on packet, sooner company sold the better,
We are now get repercussion for complaining and making it very awkward to get our post in Glasgow. It feels like we are being punished for complaining. Just a book that would fit in letterbox they are saying no one at home again even though we are home.
I bought a One 4 All gift card for Xmas to send to my sister. The receipt states that "this card can now be used". The card did not work, she tried in 3 stores and online but it was defective. I should have known better as this happened before, but I did not know that cards are irresponsibly sold with the full knowledge they are defective. I used the contact number to complain and ask for a refund. It is incomprehensible that I was told that there is a fee of £7 for a refund. I said I would complain to the financial ombudsman and was then advised that the fee would be waived. I now have a form online, I only hope it works. It is a poor service and all you get is hassle.
Lovely friendly staff in Llandyrnog post office which has recently re-opened after refurbishment. So useful for banking now that the bank has closed most of the local branches.

He is always so very helpful and really knows his job. He takes the time to give the name of the carrier, and estimated time of arrival. He answers any questions I might have. I have problems with my vision and he is very kind and caring.
He makes going into the Post Office a very pleasant experience.

Sent a birthday present for my nephew 1st Class signed for. Advertised as 1-2 days, when it didn't arrive in time for his birthday, 4 days later, I phoned the post office to be told it could take up to 15 days and, that if it hadn't arrived by then, I could make a claim. It didn't arrive, I put in a complaint and was given a link to the claim form. After 3 attempts to complete the form, all due to the recapture 'I am not a robot' not working, I gave up. The post office's response to me was that 'signed for' is not a trackable service. They basically put the blame on me for using a cheaper service than one that is fully tracked. The fact that I paid them for a service they're incompetent to deliver, isn't apparently the issue.
Their response was almost resigned to the fact that mail goes missing regularly and they don't have control of the situation. The tracking still says "We've got it" and they certainly have, they stole the gift I sent and the postage value.
recently friday 17th jan ordered some items online from london. gauranteed next day delivery. i received a e mail from royal mail saying before 1pm saturday 8th jan but no sign of it. i stayed in all day sign for it but no show. tracking does not work. tried to contact them by phone, they give wrong phone number. trid to e mail them but dont let you. this is a company on its knees. i can only try to obtain recompence from sender.
I was waiting for a important document from burnley recorded delivery the van turned up parked outside my home and drove off they did not attempted to deliver my recorded delivery I waited all day for this letter. I couldn't believe when I looked a the reviews on trustpilot how poor the post office is 1.7 out of 5 it's a disgrace
