Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.
My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon.
This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY.
If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD.
On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.
Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK.
The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.
Ordered a package and it was sent though merry hill post office on the 09/01/25. It hasn’t left the post office. There is something seriously wrong with this post office. The package was sent though international tracked and signed and it’s still there. Can’t get through by calling the phone number as you just get through to the uk postal service. Have emailed and eventually someone got back to me saying I cannot claim anything back for 20 working days. This is a joke!!
They lost my parcel which was sent tracked and signed for, I knew exactly which Delivery Office it was at before the lost it, contacted their useless Customer Services no joy so tried their resolution offices no joy, accidentally contacted their appeals office and basically got told off.
Waiting for a parcel said they tried to deliver it at 10 o’clock today. I have a ring doorbell. No one came to the door. I have cameras on the outside of my house which I watched the van drive past on the app. It says try to deliver no one in. They didn’t even put a red card through complete bullshit post office not fit for purpose.
This place is terrible, they are thief's. A package was taken in today for 48-tracked and they up it to 48-signed. They do this all the time try to jack up the service cost, shame my wife did not spot it and I'm £1.40 out of pocket. This is not the first time but one of many
I paid £8.35 for special next day delivery guaranteed by 1.00pm for a letter to be delivered a matter of 3 miles down the road. The letter was taken to the main post office. 2 days later still waiting for the letter to be delivered. Apparently, the word 'item retention' was reason provided by the tracking system. Recipient was home all day to accept the letter - rubbish service from The Post Office . No attempt was made to deliver the letter. Will never trust them with an important letter again and will be making a claim to get the money back.

It's great to be able to to banking there to.

Arrived at the door at exactly 3.57 - the lady was standing at the door locking it and turning the Closed sign, I said through the glass - please can you take this It is already pre-paid so it will take a minute.
She said sorry CLOSED pointed at the sign she had turned over just seconds before and turned her back on me.
Thanks to this wonderful shop assistant I had to drive 10 miles to Bournemouth instead.
Awful service, terrible attitude and will never be going back - and I am sure they will be first to moan about the " high street dying"
1 minute of her time cost 10 miles - appalling attitude and service and she was even closing early not at 4 pm.
Are post offices even supposed to close at 4 pm !
