Parcel returned from Royal mail

Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.

My local Postman is great BUT when it…

My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon. This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY. If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD. On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

Long Ashton Post Office, Bristol

Long Ashton Post Office is an incredible business. Always have anwers, always helpful, polite and they get the job done for you!

Possibly the worst delivery company in…

Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.

The Post Office purportedly gives…

The Post Office purportedly gives customers the option of diverting a 'Tracked 48' parcel, 'in flight,' to a local Post Office branch for collection. I have requested diversion five times and on each occasion I received an email to confirm that the parcel would be held at the local branch for collection, yet only once out of the five times did the Royal Mail deliver to the local branch as requested and promised. On all four other occasions the parcels were delivered to my home instead and left unattended in an unsafe space when I was out, leaving them vulnerable to being stolen....This is a shoddy service. Why give customers the option of diverting parcels if you are not able to fulfil that commitment? In the unlikely event that someone from Royal Mail is reading this feedback with a view to improving service, you may wish to know that I am in the NW3 area.

Very rude, unhelpful staff

After checking on Branch Finder my other half went to the post office on West End High St Southampton this morning to re-new his driving license, he had his old license and his letter from DVLA which was all he needed to produce for his application to be processed. A woman behind the counter was so damn right rude, said she could not do it because he did not have all the necessary paper work and shoved another form at him and told him to go to Bitterne PO. When he got home I looked through the form and the original letter and could not understand why it could not be done other than the woman was just lazy couldn't be bothered. We went to the PO in Hedge End where a lovely lady sorted it all out in a matter of minutes. This is not the first time that the same woman has been rude to customers, there have been so many complaints about her I'm surprised she has not been fired.

Post Office passing the Buck

I paid £35. 69 to the Post Office to send a parcel/box to Finland on 20/01/25, they used Evri, we checked online with Evri tracking after a week and it said there is an error with our parcel at LHR and it was being returned to us, no explanation as to why, we contacted Evri numerous times with no reply, the parcel was dropped off in our porch by someone on Friday 31st January late evening and it was damaged, no knock on the door, note or message from the courier, inside was children's presents all damaged, we complained to the Post Office who said they were not responsible for the delivery & to get in touch with Evri, we complained to Evri who said to take it up with the Post Office!!, still no explanation as to why it got returned from LHR or how it got damaged, they are both passing the buck, it is disgusting service from both of them and we have been screwed for £35 and the kids didn't get their presents

25% increase on home insurance renewal

Paid £400 last year for contents insurance. I made no claims. Renewal came through for £500 which is a 25% increase! I rang to cancel the renewal to be informed that all costs had risen due to inflation blah blah blah. Went and did a comparison on Money Supermarket and got almost identical insurance but insured for £25k more and paid £250! Clearly they are just price gouging, costs have not risen 25%. I fail to see how this meets the FCA consumer duty outcome of price and fair value. It clearly doesn’t.

Nothing EVER goes right with a trip to…

Nothing EVER goes right with a trip to Post office in Consett, County Durham! You literally need to write off half of your day in order to get any sort of service from this place! Now pretty much all high street banks are closed this is the only service where you can pay money into your account. However, 9 times out of 10 I end up walking away as there is usually one worker on duty and a never ending queue of customers waiting to be served! Constantly increasing costs for everything yet the service is pathetic! Why not close the branch too as it’s a total waste of space and people’s time!!

Went into the post office for some…

Went into the post office for some stamps at 9.10 am. They were already serving somebody. Chose a couple of cards and when I got to the counter they had a closed sign up so asked were they closed and she said they were only open at 9.30. Then asked if they had any stamps at the shop counter and she said no. Needless to say I put the cards back and went elsewhere.

Another parcel delivered to the wrong…

Another parcel delivered to the wrong house on the wrong street, god know,s where,as they look to have put in in somebody's back garden. The only clue is the house is green (ours is blue) so that narrows it down to about 50 or so.
