Express Delivery takes 3 weeks
I booked an express delivery of a letter from Cyprus to Germany with ParcelABC. It was a very important document, and I was told it would arrive within one to three days. But that’s not what happened. After two days, they still hadn’t picked up the letter. On the third day, I was told that the company originally assigned for the delivery no longer operated in that country. The company I selected was FedEx, and FedEx definitely operates in Cyprus. Instead, they assigned me a cheaper courier. And on top of that, this cheap courier ended up sending my letter with regular shipping, not express shipping. As a result, the delivery time went from one to three days to three weeks. During these three weeks, there was constant uncertainty about what was happening with my letter. They only responded when I showed extreme frustration in my support requests. Over these three weeks, they provided inadequate updates, and I was left to keep in touch with three different courier companies on my own to find out what was happening and where my letter actually was. As I mentioned, the letter finally arrived after three weeks instead of one to three days. And the best part is that ParcelABC refused to acknowledge their mistake. They assigned a cheap courier to my delivery, who performed a standard shipment instead of express shipping, even though I had paid for express shipping. Somehow, they even managed to win the dispute I filed with my bank. I had detailed the whole situation in my dispute, but they still won. As I said, I paid for express shipping and received extremely slow shipping. So, my advice: pay a bit more for a DHL shipment that actually arrives rather than paying for express shipping with ParcelABC, who then performs standard shipping instead. Better to pay an extra 20 euros for DHL Express than to try to save money with ParcelABC, because at the end of the day, they did not deliver express shipping. Normally, I don’t write bad reviews, as I understand many mistakes, but this behavior was extremely unprofessional and more than deserved such a negative review. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had with any parcel delivery service, and I would never order from ParcelABC again. Update: their manager did NOT contact me. Again not professional but thats nothing new.
