Modern ship, amazing staff and great food and drink. Fantastic family holiday. 😀
Excellent itinerary. Superb food and service. The Yacht Club experience was different class. A special holiday.
Great theatre shows. Good food.
Lots off people - large ship but not enough areas with accessible seating for relaxing especially during days at sea
The food was below standard
ok to big to many people to many children not enough seating
All crew on board very kind and making sure we have a good experience. Tasty, fresh food, all areas clean, well organised excursions.
Overcrowded ship - Not enough staff
Poor gluten-free ( run out of bread before the end of cruise) To many cut backs Horrendous lift system No spirits with evening meal No breakfast on sea days Expensive shuttle buses
Too many people especially kids running wild with no supervision. Food cold due to waiting in line . And not getting the privileges that are earned for people that have been on lots of cruises.
Customer services incompetance when presented with genuine concerns. At least 8 visits to reception over a 14 day period regarding the same issue, no tenable resolution. This ship has serious safeguarding issues. Sleep deprevation is a serious issue especially when staff are given medical issues, the ship would rather make money than have any genuine concern for wellbeing of occupants.
Don’t do it - not worth the money, not value for money!
Bit lax with accommodating food intolerances and penalised price wise for booking in advance as a solo traveller. Beautiful, clean ship and amazing staff.
OK You get what you pay for
I have previously explained all the negatives on Virtuosa .Very poor guest services and no help with our problems. Ship cut price in half last 2 weeks so was very overcrowded, not fair to early paid guests who paid full fare, including drinks package. Ship in public areas quite dirty. Ship docked each port way away from towns and charged expensive amounts for shuttle buses. Never been charged for shuttles by any other cruise line before. On our first MSC cruise on same ship in November prices on ship were in euros, this time they were charged in pounds but amounts hadn’t been altered so 80 euros became £80 very cunning. Not impressed and will not book with MSC again as they cancelled a previous cruise booked with them for November 2025, they made no concessions and did not transfer all our extras with cancelled cruise over to the replacement cruise. Poor show.
The Virtuosa is a fantastic ship, The staff and crew work extremely hard to provide a very clean environment and are brilliant
Excellent,
Ship is too busy, the passenger experience is severely let down by too many people being on board. Getting seats/sun loungers is almost impossible at times. The bar staff, while they work hard, are too slow. The system put in place by MSC seems to slow them down. Having to scan cards, type in what drinks you order etc, etc, it all takes too long.
We had a wonderful time.
The overall experience on MSC seaview was poor and very disappointing given the cost of the cruise. The airline used was awful and check in was the worst I have ever experienced. Queuing for 2hrs to get checked in and nearly missed the flight - the check in is all done at the desk 2hrs before departure with only two operators checking in passengers. The transfers where easy when we reached Barcelona The boarding of the ship was great and smooth Once on board it was very disappointing. The hand washing facilities were poor often with no hand wash available There were no activities on board for adults or children that did not cost extra money. It was sad seeing parents with 2-4 children having to pay out more and more money for activities to keep the children entertained. The swimming pool and slides was a great asset for children but not something they want to do all day and night. The entertainment was poor standard The food was the worst tasting, and repetitive, Staff were ok and friendly but not keen to go above and beyond. They charge you €1 per person per cabin for their MSc foundation which I did not consent to but allows written on page 3 of the contract in the very very small print- €1 is not a lot I agree but with some 5000 passengers x €1 is. There should be an option to opt in or out - we did sign to opt out but was met with upset from reception staff when asked to do this. The cruise is ok to get u from A to B and if you are happy for this then that’s fine Will not be booking again any time soon
Not enough seating Food bland No launderette No library Bed uncomfortable
