The overall experience on MSC seaview - Poor value
The overall experience on MSC seaview was poor and very disappointing given the cost of the cruise. The airline used was awful and check in was the worst I have ever experienced. Queuing for 2hrs to get checked in and nearly missed the flight - the check in is all done at the desk 2hrs before departure with only two operators checking in passengers. The transfers where easy when we reached Barcelona The boarding of the ship was great and smooth Once on board it was very disappointing. The hand washing facilities were poor often with no hand wash available There were no activities on board for adults or children that did not cost extra money. It was sad seeing parents with 2-4 children having to pay out more and more money for activities to keep the children entertained. The swimming pool and slides was a great asset for children but not something they want to do all day and night. The entertainment was poor standard The food was the worst tasting, and repetitive, Staff were ok and friendly but not keen to go above and beyond. They charge you €1 per person per cabin for their MSc foundation which I did not consent to but allows written on page 3 of the contract in the very very small print- €1 is not a lot I agree but with some 5000 passengers x €1 is. There should be an option to opt in or out - we did sign to opt out but was met with upset from reception staff when asked to do this. The cruise is ok to get u from A to B and if you are happy for this then that’s fine Will not be booking again any time soon
