Morrison Data Services has room for improvement based on customer feedback. Customers particularly appreciate service and professional, though some mention concerns about customer service and communication.
Fibre install has caused irreparable damage to our Grade II listed building. Despite residents coming out and telling the workman that he had to stop and was unable to continue due to not having permission, he became abusive and rude, and continued with the installation anyway.
It will be escalated to legal where the damage will be claimed for. Disgusting company with no respect for anyone or anything. This is not the first time we have had this problem, either.
A man came onto my premises on my driveway looking around for something. No he hadn’t asked for permission to be on my property and didn’t seem to be bothered. I captured him on my video camera. Unprofessional
If I could give 0 I would. A guy came to my house yesterday unannounced and we did not answer so a card was left through the door. Then today he came back again and because we didn’t answer straightaway he walked into my car port and helped himself to the meters. Once we got to the door he said “I went and did it myself” at the time we were so surprised and intimidated that we didn’t confront him! I checked with my gas & electricity provider and they hadn’t sent them as they get smart meters. I am beyond fuming!
An appointment was booked by EDF for an engineer to do some work on my faulty smart meter, the electricity display having not worked for 5 months.
A white van (reg. FE22 RLX) that displayed ‘Morrison Data Services’ on the sides and rear turned up late.
A man came to the front door, which I did not open as he had no visible ID.
I opened a small side window instead to speak with him.
He did not give his or his firm’s name and said he was late due to him having been in a “dangerous situation” but did not explain the nature of the ‘dangerous situation’ and how it prevented him from making a 30 second phone call to tell me he’d not be arriving at the agreed time.
He did not know what he had been sent to do. How hopeless is that?
All I could tell him was that the elec meter has not worked since installation Oct 2022, but the gas meter did, and that my MP had been involved with the matter. It was down to him as a ‘subbie’ to ensure he is properly briefed by EDF in advance of a site visit. *DOH*
After about 40 minutes of ‘working on’ the meter(s) he gave me a replacement HD unit.
Even after more than 24 hours the HD displays neither gas nor electric readings.
More than disappointing. Worse than useless.
Complete failure to do the job EDF has paid Morrison Data Services to complete. AVOID THEM!
PS. EDF paid me £20 as a goodwill gesture for the shoddy workmanship and tardy service I had endured.
Iam disabled banging on my door at 8am man at door not stop banging my door. i opened he walked in and he is reading meter for ovo he has morrisons overhaul on.
He got a meter reading and said pipe work ok nothing been tamperd with and walked out Who he was i do not know? Iam still in shock always pay my bill and send ovo my meter readings so what is going on i dont know.
Awful company, they submit the wrong readings to your energy supplier
Well, over the past 12 months, these cowboys have been taking the wrong meter readings and sending them to my supplier, I have just spent 1 hour and 17 mins on the phone to my supplier to get my account fully rectified, even the energy supplier have admitted that Morrison Data Services have been sending in the completely wrong numbers so my bills have been inaccurate for this long, although my supplier should be taking fault as well as they can read my meters from there end but these guys from Morrison Data Services have not got a scooby doo with what they’re doing.
I have asked Morrison Data Services to never send anyone to my property again and if they do they’ll be politely told to leave or they’ll be ignored, the people on the phone are rude and arrogant as are the people who visit your property, just full on rude and have an attitude problem. If you enter someone’s home you treat the persons home and the persons in the property with full respect, this company don’t know what respect is
Shoddy Company
Please Be Very Careful when they take your “meter readings”
ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!! The guy just let himself into my flat and chapped on my landing door!!! I don't know WTH you lot are on but I'm making this very clear right now! If your meter readers ever try that stunt again I'll be restraining him until the police arrive! As far as I am concerned that is trespass at the very least! Utterly disgraceful!!! Lucky my dog was out or he'd of been badly bitten!
This company need training with customer services, very bad and brutal attitude. knocked on my mums door as though they were trying to break it down. Shes old and frail.... Monthly meter reading sent to supply company. If this happens again, i will take it further.... Harressment is breaking the law.....
These clowns took a meter reading from us early one morning, no knock on the door and left the meter box door open and also our gate leading to it therefore leaving our garden insucure.
sneaky data collectors who enter peoples property with no permission
i have already asked morrison data services NOT to enter my property to read my meter. i made it VERY clear they are not to come round. 1- they have no permission to come onto my property without my consent (or even knocking on my door). 2- i submit a meter reading every month, there is no need for a data collecting agency to do it also. its extremely sneaky.
and yet today you did it again.
be aware if you do this again i will take action.
