Mint is a quality service provider at a reasonable price. It also offers some excellent phone deals. What's not to like about that?!

When they sell you, everything sounds great. I wish I had seen these previous reviews first. On 7/29, Mint Mobile charged my card $802.94. This was to cover a Samsung S25 and a year of service. As I a... See more

Prices a great, service is terrible.
So the app has become confusing as far as me and my mother being on a family plan together I'm getting that discount paying it every 3 months and I changed it so that I had unlimited or I don't know why I keep running through data like crazy and my mother literally use I think less than 1GB for the entire 3 months I went over too bad we can't share unused data so I set my plans to the change for today's renew date and it gave me 20 GB I don't understand the charge process either my billing transaction pages very confusing so I don't know what I'm doing wrong and I wish there was more promotions for discounts for current customers
I get that data usage is 200 GB from May 1st to May 31st! MintMobile is my carrier. I have hackers that use data and there is no way to find out where they are! It would take being on line line for around 20 hours a day! THERE IS NO WAY THIS IS POSSIBLE!
After 5 gb used up and ordered 1 gb more, no connectivity. Zero, left me stranded with no GPS. And since prepaid no refunds. Do not recommend. You get what you pay for!
UPDATED - ‘mint mobile’ you want me to spend a 5th morning on chat / call with the customer service agents that demonstrated the same incompetence I’m talking about? You want me engage in the same cycle of dismissive abuse? This is your solution to terrible customer service? Terrible customer service: Incapable service agents, but I don't know if it is their fault or a badly organised system. It has taken four service agents to try and port my number and no one taking responsibility. No way of contacting them by email. And what is worse - is the service agents are not equipped to deal with difficult situations therefore. And they refused to escalate.
I have had mint for years. Always paid full price as a senior. So when I saw the 50plus plan. I wanted to save money. So I called. I was on the phone at least an hour with the operator. Who was really hard to understand. But he explained. I had to wait till my current plan ended before I get the 50plus plan. so I did. I ordered the new sim. Then had trouble activating the card, because I was told. I could not change my plan from mint to mint. I was deceived. Ive been without a phone for a week because of this deception. I will never order from them again. In the process of saving money. I lost a lot more being without communication
Should have switched sooner!
Having compared service providers I chose Mint a few years ago and have experienced not only less expensive pricing but fantastic customer service. Here where I live in Toledo OH very close to a business district where cell service signals are strong, for some reason my high speed data usually SLOWS half the time. I reluctantly renewed my annual Mint plan as I love everything else about Mint; however I feel I am not getting the high speed I am paying for. Having made repeated calls to Mint, I have experienced FIRST-hand the superior quality service of their staffers as they were easy to reach/contact, very patient and eager to resolve this signal strength issue. They talked me through various troubleshooting techniques that probably often target/resolve a problem like this but here to no avail. Maybe the towers Mint uses are defective in some way? That is my conclusion but I am no expert. I do regret the loss of paid-high speed but realize customers using other cell service providers may be having similar problems. I also am grateful that this unresolved issue provided me with the OPPORTUNITY to experience the awesome customer service Mint provides. It has been a pleasure to communicate with them. GO MINT!!!!
I live in Palm Springs, a proper city but the reception is horrible. never a clear conversation and barely gets data reception. as a senior and on a budget I don't feel I have many choices.
First the mobile data always drop. By the time of renewal, saw they have an unlimited data plan for $20.00 a month requires prepaid for 1 year which I am already paying the same amount for past year. So cut the chase. "What you pay is what you get" is absolutely true about Mint Mobile. I had tried to get a human to answer a simple call but 3 days with no luck. Just to the answering message over and over again. Finally got the number to the sales department. They just said that the plan is only for new customers or I need to get a new number to join the plan. With all these frustrations. I would not recommend my friends to use Mint Mobile. They get you in but then you are on your own. Helpless. Chating to the robot never get results.
Great service. Fair price. Good communication.
I have had Mint for two years. I previously (25 yrs.) had Verizon's. I have two phone lines. There has NEVER been any problems. Mint is absolutely as good as Verizon's. Thank you Mr. Fox, Larry P. In Alabama
"Mint Mobile/T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for just $35/mo" email offer update to the Mint response to my previous one star review: The Trustpilot response from Mint Mobile "contact us through our customer support channels at 800-683-7392 or our live chat platform, 7 days a week from 5 am to 7 pm PST, to take a look at your case and find the best solution" was followed: The recommended Mint live chat platform took me through 8 choices to chat with customer service, and 32 minutes for the representative to say "request you to Contact this care team Number 844-646-8638 for further assistance" for Mint Mobile/T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for just $35/mo. I responded that I had already called this number (as described in my review) where the Philippines located operator had no idea what I was asking, etc. I complained that I was again, being sent in circles. I then called the number 800-683-7392 given to me by the Mint Trustpilot response to my previous review. The offshore operator (Dominican Republic) transferred me to another number 800-937-8997 "The Mint Home Internet Team." This number had many selections but I finally connected with another off shore located customer service representative (Philippines) who said she was with the T-mobile Tech department and doesn't have any access to the "Mint Mobile/T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for just $35/mo" offer. She wanted to transfer me back to the 800-683-7392 number, which is where I started following the Mint Mobile Trustpilot response! I told her this and she said she would check this out, and put me on hold for 3-4 minutes. This representative said she was calling Mint at 213-372-7777. She came back on after and said they told her to call the Mint Mobile Internet Connection Team at 833-421-4420 but couldn't access this as it keeps hanging up! I let her know that that was what happened to me when I had previously called this number numerous times. At this point I am really getting the picture that this is just a run around scammy come-on by Mint maybe getting a kickback from T-? WHY?? Absolutely wasted my time and resulted in the same non-functional circular call routing as my Mint Mobile/T-Mobile 5G Home Internet for just $35/mo initial review describes. Mint again replied to my time wasted and scammy run-around by giving me more of the same run-around. I have previously contacted them in these ways described by them as a solution, "Since we are unable to provide you with assistance through this channel [Trustpilot], please contact us through our customer support channels at 800-683-7392 or our live chat platform, 7 days a week from 5 am to 7 pm PST, to take a look at your case and find the best solution."
I prepaid for 3 months of service, and I lost my phone after a couple of weeks on this service. I ended up calling and transferred my number back to my old service because I had to order a phone. Now that I received my phone, my contract has been terminated. According to the first customer service agent, I had 1 month before my account would be terminated. I was transferred to another agent and she said it was terminated when I transferred my number. She also stated that they had no way of keeping track of my contract without a phone number, and when I gave her my account number, she stated that was only used to transfer my number to another service and they had no way to keep track of my account. Being lied to by customer service agents and not being informed I would forfeit the rest of my paid contract prior to transferring my service is my experience with another devious company that is only out to screw their patrons. This may be the reason why this company is not BBB accredited.
Great, affordable, and convenient. Really nice to have with no complications to activate with my phone.
Mint Mobile is Great !
Good service
I travel a lot and have had no trouble with service in any of the cities I visit. It’s so convenient to pay for six months at a time, for barely more than I use to pay monthly!
I am thrilled with the savings over my old carrier. The service is the same. I am a little disappointed in the automatic switch to WiFi when the signal is weak. When there is only one bar, my phone will not ring and it does not switch to WiFi. The call just goes to voicemail. I even saw the call coming in and tried to answer it, but it still just dropped. So I guess WiFi assist only works when there is NO signal. Every person I have spoken to at Mint has been super helpful and worked to fix my issue. I have no regrets that switched to Mint Mobile.
