Mint is a quality service provider at a reasonable price. It also offers some excellent phone deals. What's not to like about that?!

When they sell you, everything sounds great. I wish I had seen these previous reviews first. On 7/29, Mint Mobile charged my card $802.94. This was to cover a Samsung S25 and a year of service. As I a... See more

Cell phone has SOS level of connectivity intermittently for 3 months while at home - that is less than 1 bar LTE - A Cell tower issue. In talking to tech. support multiple times and trying/ changing every setting on my iPhone the problem persists. Mint mobile uses T-Mobile cell towers so they have NO CONTROL over the repair of the tower problems and cannot give a completion date.
It’s good for the most part. Speed is an issue sometimes.
They have a website where you enter your phone number and when I did that the website showed that my home address gets excellent coverage. Long story short...I am getting one bar and SOS on my phone. Customer service is absolutely horrendous. I did everything they asked for trouble shooting and spent at least a total of 12 hours on the phone and now they sent me a physical sim card and it did not fix the issue. Right now I would even settle for two bars but they keep telling me that I will get better service but it looks like it was just smoke and mirrors.
i think this service is good so far - but not “great” for the price - i can live with good! when i went to pay again - after my first 3 mos - i had already bought 2 (b1g1 promotion) of my plan but when i tried to use that plan - mint told me i would have to get another # and port it in to use that plan which is RIDICULOUS i’m obv not going to do that it’s NOT my fault mint gave me a plan that i paid for that i cannot use!!! when calling and chatting - each rep told me i could not use the plan i bought for b1g1 i’m sorry - but that’s BS and i do believe they should have at least given me an account credit or compensated me in another way like using that $ towards a diff plan i COULD use but they did NOTHING when i last paid - a week ago - for the next 3 mos - mint convinced me i didn’t need unlimited - and i purchased a 20mb plan - however - in a few days - i got the message i was using a lot of data and needed to upgrade to unlimited (which i had already figured i needed!) it also won’t give the weather unless i connect to wifi - which is baffling ???because my location is visible on maps directions etc but i think mint is 100000000% a very valuable affordable service if you have your phone unlocked! i have an iphone which took me months to get unlocked from AT&T - even tho paid off 6 mos earlier - and i made the switch i had business unlimited elite - which was about $150 w taxes each month now i pay $120 for 3 months !!!
Company is great

I am really happy I choose Mint, love the way it works
My internet is very bad in also slow even my hotspot is slow this need to fix if not after my contract over I’m not gonna renew
Extremely poor customer services, from those Filipinos, whose English is hard to understand and whose attitudes are far below the American standard. I was even hung up on my face by a Filipino woman, when I asked when I would get the phone that I have purchased and paid on the Mint Mobile website. It says 2-3 days shipping. Now after 6 days I still have not received the phone. The website gives out no information regarding the status of my order. Never experienced a vendor this bad and unprofessional. It reminds me a saying: "You get what you paid for." Update: I have called the number and chatted too. I have got no update on my order, now 7 days after I placed it. They hung up on me, when I pressed harder for information. Please don't contract customer services to countries like Philippines or India. You may reduce the cost, but your customers re paying the prices for the poor services. Bring the employment back to the US! There are other fraudulent and unprofessional practices at Mint Mobile too, such as charging more than the invoices show. When I disputed through customer service with the charge, I was asked to send an email with evidences to her email address which does not show a Mint Mobile domain. My email has not been responded for a year now. I will have to complain to the BBB.
I am unable to reset my password. This plan is for a child and I can't get a code to reset my password and login. This is the worst service you could have. I have an account, I have service, but I can't login. Worst service ever
Reliable, no network issues at all, and they actually care to remind you when your payment is almost due and even recommend cheaper ways if you aren’t using your full amount of GBs.. I won’t ever switch anywhere else
Terrible company! Nobody responded on the chat at working hours more than hour and half. They charged me $1710.98 without my permition. Fraud company. Do not trust them
This is a review for the customer service level which is excellent. Having been with AT&T for over 25 years and only ever paid a vastly overpriced line rental of $64 per month - yes, $64 per month for just a line! The equivalent on Mint is less than half of that PLUS you get a high level, responsive customer service set up where they can actually do things on the spot whilst you wait. I’m unable to comment on the reception/coverage as yet but believe for my ‘normal’ and reasonable everyday use in Southern California it will be just fine. I will report back if this changes. Other than that a really good start so far to the service. This is really how it should be.
It's relatively affordable, so I shouldn't be surprised that there are so many places with no coverage. I've also got a second phone that uses Tmobile; a little old flip phone with the buttons that you press to get to the right letter when texting, and it has better coverage than my motorola g5 2023 model with the mint plan on it. Lots of dead spots in Cameron Oklahoma and I'm about to move to that area where I get no cell service (from Mint) at all unless I go a ways down the long driveway and find a spot. Mint does not use those towers around there maybe? I think I might have to pay someone else a bit more so I can make and receive calls more reliably. But the company is nice, affordable, and I repped their jacket a lot. I just wish I could make calls in Cameron. :(
The cost can't be beat. It would be 5 stars, but the app is not user friendly, and I get no coverage at my house.
They trick you in to signing up, and then raise the price the following month.
