One thing the device is very sensitive. Sometimes it gies off if I'm just getting up or lean over to far.

Timing for assistance
Our mother was independent living in her own home, but we needed add'l assurance of her safety. Medical Alert provided that. We appreciated the "checking in" when mom would accidentally press the buttons. But we really appreciated the quick response of EMS when neither my husband or myself were available when mom had a "soft" fall and couldn't get up. Fortunately she was ok. We would still be using Medical Alert but mom was moved to a retirement center for additional care. Thank you for providing your service to families.
I broke my femur and fell in my house. I pushed my alert button and the ambulance arrived in less than 10 minutes.
The sales people are excellent and very helpful. The product works well and when hit by accident, They were very kind and understanding. The only reason I am not giving the service of five is because they forgot to send the lockbox.
Quick response. People who know what their ding.
Press the button and the fire dept responded immediately.
My Mom needed medic alert assist 2 times recently and both times medical teams were sent out and Mom was taken to the hospital and family alerted right away.
Unfortunately, I must have pressed the arm band without knowing it, received a call from the fire department which I was able to stop them coming. The response is very quick. I did use the on the 3rd of June, the fire department was here within minutes. Was admististed the necessary treatment and took me to hospital. Glad I have it.
All they did was call 911
THE TECHNICAL SIDE SEEMS TO WORK VERY WELL.
I had a rude message left on my voice mail from medical alert. They said if I Don't pay my dad's monthly service they would disconnect it. I called them back and advised them my father passed away February 2024. Also the device was sent back to them several days after he passed. The customer service representative found out this to be true. How can you monitor patients when you don't even know they passed and the device was returned and they were notified he passed with death certificate copy. What a joke.
calm and supportive
We have been very pleased with your service. !!
Help came when I needed it
I received a replacement unit a couple of months ago. I noticed no matter how I treated it, the fall alert never activated. This included my husband dropping it on purpose from 6ft onto a wood floor. It shattered my peace of mind knowing it probably hadn't been working all along. Called tech support - sorry to say the woman I dealt with was a b*tch to me. Impatient and unhelpful. I told her I'd call back later which I did and spoke to Roseta who was fantastic, kind and helpful. She explained it probably was working but to test it had to fall attached to a person. I don't buy that, my former alert was FAR more sensitive. She gave me the choice of getting a replacement like the older white/grey one or a mini alert. We opted for the mini. I will be testing it fully to make sure it alarms if it falls on the floor!! I have thought about canceling my contract with you as if I can't trust the product, what am I paying for??? I had a very bad fall last year and rely on the fall alert!!! I am giving Med Alert one more chance or I"m jumping ship.
I lost my balance and fell on an end table with a removable glass butler tray. The glass broke and sliced my arm open badly and I am on a blood thinner. Knocked out on the hardwood floor I nearly bled to death. When I regained consciousness and in a pool of blood, I managed to get to my necklace and help was sent immediately. Yes, the fall protection necklace should have been around my neck, but it wasn't. Learned my lesson. *Thankfully, my daughter had just received a message from Medical Alert "just a week prior" to my fall that the system needed attention. The box had gone out and Medical Alert provided everything new AND the package also was delivered faster than promised. I spent three days in the hospital, but thanks to Medical Alert and the Lord above, I am still alive. Wear your necklaces!
